Kinda disappointed, 5 star hotel without welcome drink, nobody to carry your luggage to your room and I first didn’t get the room I booked, had to get angry on the phone for 30 minutes to finally get it. The room was good and breakfast too

This was the best experience for me. Jasper ong and violet tan were the best. Especially, they were so kind. And violet gave me the comfort of a mother. Next time, I want to sleep on the highest rank in the suite. If you have a survey email, please send it here. I want to compliment the staff.

The hotel itself is consider convenient, there’s a gateway right across the street beside the hotel where it can connect down to Suntec City lower level food court. This trip we brought our one year old with us. During the check in, no one informed us about the music festival (DJ) that had been going on for the past days. The room that was given to us were right on top of the music festival, it was so loud during the afternoon and I was told it’ll continue to 10pm. My son couldn’t take his nap at all! This messed up our whole day schedule, we basically wasted the whole day trying to get a room change. However, thanks to the assistant front desk manager (Ivy) we were able to get a higher floor room away from all the noise (finally got a room change at around 8:30pm), if it’s not for her help I would have given a even less of a rating.
Once again I would like to thanks Ivy for all her help. She was great.

Greetings esteemed reviewers, it is with great dismay that I pen this review to share my recent experience at the Conrad Orchard Singapore which was well below expectation. This isn't my first time to stay here. In a previous review, I had bestowed upon the hotel a rating of four stars and had made mention of the General Manager's name, Oscar Postma, as a mild critique of their performance. My stay had been quite wonderful, albeit marred by their proclivity towards complacency in providing minor special requests. However, I found myself the subject of ill-treatment at the hands of the hotel's personnel. Their behavior was nothing short of bullying, as they proceeded to pursue punitive measures against my top-tier membership in their esteemed chain of hotels, ultimately resulting in its suspension. The road to reinstatement was replete with challenges, and I was disconcerted by their unseemly conduct, which seemed to be directed towards punishing me for my candid review. It is my duty to warn other fellow reviewers that these individuals are not to be mistaken for gentlemen of standing and refinement, but rather, they utilize tactics that are more in line with the mindset of a thug, targeting those who dare to voice their concerns. Any potential guest at the Conrad Orchard Singapore should be prepared to navigate such hostility. In summation, I find the behavior of the hotel's personnel to be wholly unacceptable, and I would caution any prospective guests to prepare themselves accordingly. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to all who might consider a stay at this establishment.

The hotel is very new and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I left my ID at the front desk when checking in and the staff only called me after 8am to not disturb me at night. Located at a distance from the MTR station but there are plenty of buses, and it's lovely neighborhood! Would stay here again the next time I'm in Singapore.

Oh, you're in for a treat! First things first, the staff at this hotel were truly remarkable. They had this uncanny ability to anticipate my every need. It felt like they had superpowers! Whether it was arranging transportation, or simply offering a warm smile, they went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP.
Now, let me paint a picture of the room for you. It was like stepping into a dreamy oasis. The bed was so comfortable and fluffy, it felt like I was floating on a cloud. The room itself was impeccably designed, with stylish decor and all the amenities I could ever ask for; the kitchenette, washer dryer, cutlery and more. It was the perfect sanctuary to relax and recharge after a long day. Just to add and suggest on breakfast could have more hot foods and cooking station; making scramble eggs etc.
But what really set this hotel apart was the attention to detail and the genuine care they showed towards their guests. It was evident in the personalized touches, like a handwritten note welcoming me to the hotel or the surprise treats left in my room. It made me feel valued and appreciated, like I was part of a big, happy family.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical. If you're looking for a truly exceptional hotel experience, I highly recommend checking into this gem. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

The room is quite big, with a small living room and a small kitchen for cooking. It is quite spacious. The surrounding area of the hotel is relatively quiet. It is next to the subway station. It is a ten-minute walk from the subway station to Orchard Road Mall. It is very convenient. The breakfast is relatively simple. Basically, there are just a few choices every day. After staying for 6 days, I got tired of it.

GGuest UserHi there guys
Id really love to say thanks to the heritage team for accommodating me into their place
Firstly i’d like to think the person who came to aid me for my check in
I got some issue during my checking in with my phone. But even though its around midnight, that person(i really forgot his name) came to aid me with the check in process and made it smooth
Next was Nica, Edmar and Jona( from the whatsapp team) i’ve told them its raining outside and i needed an umbrella. Without hesitation, they went all out to find me an umbrella and put it outside my door
The small gesture really matter and yall made my stay at your place really comfortable 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I think your boss needa give some appraisals for yall 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
GGuest UserOur stay was great! The location was incredibly convenient, with the Sultan Mosque, numerous restaurants, and souvenir shops just a short walk away. The Bugis subway station is also nearby ~10 min walk, making it easy to explore the city.
We booked a loft with a balcony, which was enough space for two people. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the AC was a lifesaver given Singapore's hot climate. While we didn't use the balcony as much as we'd hoped due to the heat, it was a nice touch.
The staff was outstanding! Shannen, Andrew, and Jarwin deserve special recognition for their helpfulness, professionalism and friendly demeanor.
Communication with the hotel was excellent. All interactions happened through WhatsApp, with clear instructions provided before check-in. Any questions we had were answered promptly.
The free laundry service was a pleasant bonus, and being able to leave our luggage until 6 PM on our departure day was incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserLyf Farrer Park is an amazing property. Bustling with life and very lively. Good for long stay. The ground floor lobby has a gym, laundromat, working bay and a hep coffee and beer joint. Fourth floor is cooking bay and an area to laze around with open gym, garden and play zone for kids. Rooms are smartly done with modern interiors.
GGuest UserThis hotel can be easy to miss but if you follow the numbering given on the address, you should be able to find it very easily. Just a 2 min walk from Chinatown MRT and you’re right at the doorstep. This hotel is built on shophouses from the colonial days and do not have lifts. But I’m sure the helpful receptionists will help if you ask. The hotel is newly renovated at the time when this review is posted. So everything was new and clean. Sheets and towels were spotless. Iron and ironing board provided. Hairdryer is available. The wifi was super fast and can take multiple devices. Soap and shampoo provided so travellers can travel light. The kitchenette came with all the utensils provided. Forks spoons knives, pots and pans to do your own cooking. The room came with all lighting thought of. Night lights, wardrobe lights, bathroom ambient lighting as well. You will be able to configure and customise to your own liking. Although the hotel faces the street where most tourists will walk, there is little noise because the windows are double paned which blocks all noise from reaching the room. So even if you’re sleeping in the day, there’s no way you will be disturbed by the street banter. Location wise, this place is in the heart of Chinatown and there are plenty of food option available. Chinatown complex is just 2 min walk from the hotel doorstep, where you can window shop or do actual shopping. The food complex is on the 2nd level of Chinatown complex where it will take you more than a month to sample every single dish. Chinatown point is also about 5 min walk away, and there you can find all sorts of eateries. There is also a supermarket (FairPrice) there, together with pharmacies (Watsons and Guardian) if you need. Overall a great stay and would recommend to any traveller.

SSarahNataliaTAs an Ascott group member, there are decent expectations of an Ascott experience in all the properties in which I had once stayed (Ascott, Somerset, Citadines). Citadines Rocher (recently opened in 2020) was one of my top choices in having a local staycation because of its location and price range. However, it was an overall disappointing experience, and here’s why: 1. No daily housekeeping service 2. Our bathroom door could not close. It was completely off the ledge. 3. Reception is busy all the time. Phone calls are often not answered 4. This hotel was most probably a designated hotel used for both Malaysian citizens who were unable to return home due to locked borders, as well as returning Singaporeans to serve their mandatory 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN). There were confirmed COVID-19 cases within my period of stay. We were notified by a letter from the management. The least the management could do was to provide a mask or sanitizers to guests. We also chanced upon 2 medical workers fully donned in PPE escorted a guest to the ambulance. Scary stuff. 5. We took our own trash out of the room since day 1 of check-in. It was not cleared even upon checking out. Dear Citadines Rocher, please review your services. I had absolute faith and would like to continue giving my support to Ascott despite this awful stay.
GGuest UserStayed at the end of Nov/early Dec 2022 for 6 nights Pros: -building is very instagrammable, they even have photo icons on the ground to guide you where to stand to take photos. -check in process was easy and smooth -they have coffee machine at lobby area and lots of places to sit and lounge -swimming pool on lvl 2 with towels you can grab yourself there. -there is a shared communal kitchen with microwave/dishwasher and fridge but you have to label the products you buy yourself or else if the product is expired or doesn't have a label they chuck it away. -rooftop area on lvl 8 where you can get a view of the surrounding areas. -overall lots of outdoor spaces to sit. -there are areas to bbq if you want but you need to hire it like those portable bbqs -on lvl 1 in a different building but connected there is laundry that costs $6 for 15kg wash that cycles for 30 minutes and the dryer cost $6 as well for 1 hour dry cycle. -room itself is 13sqm but it doesn't feel that small as it looks on paper i think in part due to the very high ceilings above the bed so you don't feel so cramped and gives that sense of space. pretty clever designed room. -room feels new, i mean it did only open in April 2022. -bed and pillow are fairly comfortable not too bad. Initially it feels comfortable but over the days it was okay only and the bed was ok kind of like stiff foam that has some give but a little firm. There is space underneath the bed to store luggage. -plugs on either side of bed as well as usb slots. -water kettle is provided in the room as well as cutlery in the room. -fridge is shared and located outside in each corridor. -there is a desk with plug and ethernet port. -there is also a tv with only local channels. -sink is outside the bathroom area on the wall but it does have liquid hand soap and a big round mirror with good lighting. -jug is provided and you can refill it yourself outside your corridor. each level has a water dispenser refill station which provides clean filtered distilled water in both hot and cold temperatures. There is also a shared microwave and paper towels in each level of the building. -lots of nooks and crannies in the room for example next to the door you can put things on a small recessed wall shelf and there is another cupboard you can put shoes or sandals etc. -hairdryer is provided. -toilet and shower are glass separated -they provide 2 toilet papers and 2 hand towels and 2 body towels. -shower is amazing, rain and hand held shower head with plenty of strong hot water pressure and hot water that lasts. -collapsable laundry basket is provided in the room. -electronic curtain shade on the windows and the windows are big round ship-like glass. -hanger coats that you can hang your clothes and towels are provided in the room. -there is also a reading lamp and racks above the desk to put stuff which was nice. -tissue box is provided. -mrt entrance is directly across the road from the hotel. -wifi spee
GGuest UserThis review is based on my 5 Nights staying there with my pregnant wife. I book thru Tiket.com app and was advertise as 4 star hotel (which I don't think they deserve to be called 4 star hotel, instead it's more suitable to be called a boarding house / kos-kosan). When booking, i mentioned in advance with special request ”Clean and well maintained rooms, pregnant women in room”. However, I was given a room number 313 which was located in the end of the alley and no Window with direct sunlight on it. It feels really moist for us, and the room is quite dusty, especially below the bed. I asked to change room, and the lady staff check and said to the other staff quietly whether can give the room for me or not, and the other staff shake her head and said to me directly that it's a full capacity hotel. I told them I don't mind to pay extra money for upgrade but they tell me they don't have any room left. Which I don't think so. I don't want to debate because I just had an 8 hour flight and just accept it. I also do have my reason why this place is more suitable to be called ”Premium Boarding House” instead of 4 Star hotel Other than they ignored my advance special request, They DO NOT PROVIDE ROOM CLEANING AT ALL. Bed sheet will be change after 4 Days, Towel can be changed daily but YOU HAVE TO ASKED EVERYDAY DIRECTLY TO THE FRONT DESK to change it. I do request to change my towel for 4 days to the front desk and throw the garbage. They do give me towel 4 times, but only throw my garbage 2 times. Also on the 4th day I asked to refill the body wash in the room, but they did not. Furthermore, there are groups of family with children, and they do make noise at 12.30am (some giggling, some crying). The walls between are really thin, so you will felt disturbed when someone shouting in alley or even talking. There's no phone in room to call the front desk, and if it was, there's no one on the front desk cause they only open until 10pm. There's no facility and amenities in room except a dirty kettle and 2 piece of toothbrush. This place also have it's positive side. It's near Farrer Park MRT station and a mall just opposite the building. Also the interior seems new. Hopefully this review can help you decide which place you will stay. I suggest to compare with other hotels before you book. I was expecting too much because I look the 4 star during the booking and expect at least minimum 4 star hospitality on the stay which has cause me discomfort. PS: don't accept room 313 - no clear window
GGuest Userthe room is very very wide, we loved it! so much space to move and rest. the water is very hot. choose either very hot or very cold. location wise though, it is far from tourist attractions but walking distance to orchard. the place is upscale

GGuest UserWe used to stay in the same facility before it was taken over by Assembly. I must say that it has come down in quality and value, quite dramatically. Covid may account for some of the decline for sure, but my impression is that this Assembly organization is in hot pursuit of every penny or percentage increase in ROI that they can eke out, or squeeze out of their customers. The staff is smaller and less customer oriented, and it seems that they are doing the minimum required of their owner/management because they are being paid the minimum possible (my educated guess based upon many visits in the past 10 years, and many casual conversations with others). Here is what we witnessed. The room was not yet renovated, so the price (i believe) was a bit lower than the renovated units. Nonethless, there is no excuse for the lack of housekeeping services rendered (I think it was just once or twice per week that the unit was serviced). Upon arrival :
The unit is far less desirable than the many other 58 Stevens units we have rented in the past.
1. Upon walking in we smell a very unpleasant moldy, musty odor and upon looking around it seems there is mold on the kitchen window shade. See pictures attached.
2. A week ago I called directly to Assembly to ask or request if there was a suitable and safe pan for frying eggs and such. I was told there should be. However, upon a quick look at the pan it is evident that it is broken, and worn thru the cooking surface, not at all suitable for safe use. There were no pots either, and only after complaining to the front desk, the attendant was nice enough to dig up a new set of pots for us to use. Outside vendors, car drivers, etc. seem to be allowed to smoke their cigarettes in front of 58 Stevens, and are allowed to leave a pile of cigarrette butts at the entrance to the residences. See pictures..
