"This place is great, very quiet. There's a small bus terminal right outside (many bus routes start there). The bar downstairs looks lively, but the residential area is completely undisturbed. You have to walk down a corridor to get to the rooms, and the corridor door requires a key card to enter, so there's no need to worry about bar patrons accidentally wandering into the residential area (it's very safe).
The hotel itself is also clean. Although there's a construction site nearby, I didn't see any construction happening, and I couldn't even hear any street noise (which I was quite happy about).
It's perfect for anyone arriving in Ghent by Flixbus, as it's less than a 10-minute walk (about 600 meters) from the Flixbus stop."

ZZhongcaifaThe experience was great, but the hotel's location was a bit out of the way, and it was a little eerie to walk back alone late at night. Also, half of the hotel was under renovation, so the gym was unavailable, which was a shame. However, the staff were very friendly.

HHuanqiuyuzhoulvxingjiaThis hotel was the most impressive one on my trip through the Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. It's located right in the heart of Ghent's scenic riverfront, a World Heritage site, one of Europe's top ten design hotels, and on the list of the world's top 100 hotels! Staying here, it truly lives up to its reputation. It's incredibly well-designed, opulent, a genuine antique with a strong sense of culture and history. The classic Baroque style is evident, and the furniture and decor are all traditional European. It exudes the luxurious feel of an ancient European palace! The breakfast was also excellent, especially the breakfast restaurant, which has fantastic views!

GGuest UserThe boss didn't understand English, it was difficult to communicate, and he charged arbitrarily. He changed my double room to a double bed. The location is next to the tram, there is a tram at about 5:00 in the morning, it is very noisy, I can’t sleep

GGuest UserMooi hotel, in het centrum op de rand maar toch gemakkelijk te bereiken, parking vrijdagmarkt op boogscheut.
Heel ruime kamer, groot bed, mini bar, koffie faciliteit, badkamer met bad en douche, mooi uitzicht op het water.
Vriendelijk personeel bij het onthaal, bij het ontbijt iets minder.
Toffe ontbijtruimte op het 3e verdiep met zicht over Gent en het water.
Ontbijtbuffet goed maar niet luxueus.
Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader!

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-organized, and extremely comfortable. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall freshness of the space. The location is excellent—convenient, accessible, and close to everything I needed, which made getting around the city very easy. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, making the entire stay even more pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

GGiles LawrenceThe room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

I arrived very late that day, it was already 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, but the staff still received me warmly. It's a mixed-sex house, but it's very quiet and everyone is very well-behaved and orderly. It should be noted that everyone should try to check in as early as possible. If you arrive in the middle of the night, you may not be able to check in, but you will still be allowed to check in. In addition, a little tip for friends like me who are staying in a youth hostel for the first time. This hotel requires you to take down the bed sheet and put it in the lobby when you check out~
