⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The rooftop view of Guilin Port House is amazing! The 9th floor is under renovation, I thought I would miss the beautiful view. Fortunately, Miss YanHong took us up to see the view enthusiastically. When you step into the 9th floor, you will see the construction site. When you walk to the balcony, you will feel like you are in a dreamland above the city. The view upstairs is very wide. The landscape painting of Guilin unfolds slowly in front of you. The mountains in the distance are like dark blue, and the city streets nearby is amazing. The layout of the building is exquisite, adding a bit of vitality and comfort. Miss YanHong took us to see the night view at 8:30. The lights were on, shining like stars, this is a great place to relax, whether it is a couple hugging to watch the sunset, or chatting with friends to enjoy the night view (I chatted with YanHong, who I just met, for 2 hours upstairs). Really enjoyed my stay !

What a wonderful experience for us all as a family. When we saw the room, we instantly felt comfortable. Their warm welcome made us feel like home. We can't wait to come back again and will surely recommend to friends and family. I forgot to use my hotel coupon for the restaurant because no one mentioned it to me and I didn’t realize I could use it. They also did not mention that we can try on the costumes. They also didn’t mention the free tea and snacks—but luckily I saw this on my booking so I asked them about it. The hotel offered discount tickets to attractions but when I checked into my next hotel, the next hotel offered even cheaper tickets for the same attractions, and my cab driver also offered cheaper tickets.

The best hotel out of the 10 we stayed in Guangxi. The room is really nice, with great design and spacious. Breakfast has good variety and the staff at the reception are so friendly and helpful. They are patient with our queries, and even helped us switched rooms fuss free, not one but twice cos cigarette smoke somehow get into our rooms. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. It is located between Liu Sanjie and West street, and you can either walk or cab to these 2 venues. Good amenities for kids too.

The hotel is very clean and the room has no smell of smoke at all which we really appreciate. Shower pressure is strong. All amenities are provided even kids toothbrush and slippers. There’s self service laundry at the ground floor for a small fee. There’s a simple breakfast provided consisting of porridge, buns, vegetables and boiled eggs, soy milk and a fruit. Location is great within walking distance to the malls and 西关 night market. We also walked to the Aqua market for the fire show at night. There are many eateries around the hotel.

We had a decent stay in the family room of this hotel. It was located close to the busy part of the city center and right next to the park with the pagoda. We had bunkbeds for the kids in a separate part of the room. The bunkbeds were super firm and uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was small and limited in choice. However, the room was clean and the hotel staff were nice. Since we only stayed one night, the negatives were not a big deal.

Excellent experience! Very nice staff, very very clean, fully equipped. No smoke of cigarettes, the hotel actually smelled very nicely and fresh. The rooms are clean and completely new. Front desk lady helped us a lot with getting transported! Highly recommend! The beds are a bit hard but that's the standard in China, they're very comfortable still and new. So it's just their preference I assume. Loved the M60 Plus toilet !

Room view vs Customer Service. Pros : Credit to the lady who spoke English at the reception. She is a gem to the hotel, she went the extra miles to ensure our plans went well. Perfect, Xiaojie ! Becoz of her, we are willing to give 5 stars ! Cons : Lake view, almost fully blocked by the roof of the restaurant below, which is a total disappointment ! Neverthe less, stunning mountain view. Room tips : Go for a higher floor, the lake view might be slightly better. Do add some fake grass carpet over the roof for a more pleasant sight.

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to both the ancient town and the local shopping markets. Our room is on the top floor, it has a giantic balcony with an unbeatable view. The owners are friendly and helpful. They helped us book tickets for attractions and bamboo rafts at a discounted price. The hotel has a restaurant next door, by staying in the hotel we enjoyed a discounted price at a restaurant, and the owners gave us the option to either dine in the restaurant or within our room. We opted to dine in the restaurant. The food, the price and the service were all fantastic. It's better than eating in the touristy ancient town for sure. Overall, it was a great experience.

Room is very clean & comfy, I stay at room 8501, can enjoy sunrise scenery from balcony around 7am+, hotel location about 6km from west street, able to call didi so quite convenient, e-bike can rent from reception at $30/day, return by 11.30pm on the same day. Customer service officer very polite and responsive through WeChat, can book attraction ticket with them which much more cheaper than online booking. Hotel also provides complimentary one trip from hotel to bus station. Overall very satisfied with the stay, one of the improvement can be done is breakfast. Breakfast menu for both day of our stay are the same which includes Guilin noodles, hard boil egg, sweet potato, mantou & banana.

This hotel is perfect if you are an influencer because in this hotel everything looks so beautiful. The thing I was most impressed with was one of the drinks （within the afternoon tea service） they provide for free if stay in here. It is called the “after-raining” Yulong River. This drink has three layers which are tea, coffee, and cheezy cream. The way it mixes altogether seems exactly like the river. Beautiful and I loved it. The staff (her name is yuanyuan /xiao wei) was quite helpful. Arranged the baby's crib, and a wall thing under the mattress to prevent the baby fall off from bed as I asked. The hotel has a nice playground which my son loved. As I foreigner though there is not much staff fluent in English so if you cannot speak in Chinese, there are some times you might feel inconvenienced though. They provide us with free transportation service. So I used it to go to one of the sightseeing spots. The driver said he would pick me up at the same spot I got off but a different driver came so it took me a while to find the driver because the car was different. Therefore if you are not good at communicating in Chinese. Sometimes it is a hassle I would say. Also, the baby crib was a bit too small for my 90cm son. It was just the size they had.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hostel has a great design and atmosphere. Room was a good size, clean, comfortable bed with curtains, and the ensuite bathroom and balcony were very good additions. Communal area wasn't busy but had a nice comfortable atmosphere. Great location, only a minute walk from the bus station, 2 minutes from food street and 5 minutes from the viewpoint of the Li River. They do provide meals for an extra cost (but I didn't try them so can't comment). Definitely recommend staying in Xingping for at least one night to see sunset/sunrise over the river, very beautiful. Great hostel, would definitely stay again.

The room is clean with an average ambience setting if compared to a 5 star hotel standard . The location is ideal , service is good , breakfast spread is good with proportional balance of western and mostly Chinese cuisine.

Good value for money. The hotel room was equipped with AC and water kettle. Bed was very comfortable and hot water was always available. The location is very convenient. Only 700 meters to Nanning railway station. Drinking water was provided daily. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. Many restaurants and shops can be found next to the hotel.

The stay at Marriot has been very comfortable that we decided to extend 1 more night. Service are exceptional especially Arthur and Sally, who had been very helpful. Arrived at the hotel in the morning but Sally helped to arrange a clean room for early check in. Arthur helped to resolve the card and room extension. Will come back again!

The hotel is in a very good location. There is a pedestrian street right outside. The rooms are clean and tidy. The first time I stayed for three consecutive nights, I went out for a trip and checked in again. The first time I was given a room without windows, I said it was too stuffy, the waiter changed my room, it was a tatami, I am an old man, how can I sleep on tatami, the front desk said there were no other rooms, I almost didn't sleep well that night. This is unreasonable, because I booked it together with the 12th check-in, since I booked it early, why didn't you keep a room for me? I originally planned to stay for two more days on the 18th and 19th, but later the itinerary changed, so I refunded the 18th and kept the 19th. As a result, the room rate for the 19th was not the original room rate I booked, and it increased by 18 yuan. I think this is unreasonable. I booked it together, why did I have to increase the price after modifying it? Later, I called Ctrip customer service and told them about it, and the customer helped me solve it. I stayed in this hotel for a total of five days, all booked together, and this problem occurred in the middle, so I think they have problems with management. But the room on the last day was still good, I hope they can pay attention to this problem in the future.

Walking distance to wuxu airport and bullet train Wifi barely works, hotel shops were closed T3 airport being built and was some noise 24Hrs First 2 rooms smelt of wet carpet from the floods but hotel staff allowed us to choose another room to our satisfaction

Location is about 500m from Nanning Railway Station. Very close the Railway MRT station. Walking distance to malls and pedestrian street. Hotel building is shared by many other tenants. I understand the hotel rooms are from 10th floor upwards.It may not look grand due to ageing structure and slow elevator. The rooms are however, new clean and bright and spacious. Aircon and wifi is excellent. Highly recommend for the price.
