✅ Pros • You can watch planes take off and land – a free ”sightseeing spot”! • The room was spacious enough, and the soundproofing was excellent; I wasn't woken up by plane noise at night. • The decor was standard and functional – clean and usable, neither amazing nor terrible. ⚠️ Cons • The hotel is huge, so it takes 5-8 minutes to get from the room to the elevator/lobby, which was tiring with a child. • The drain in the room had a bad smell, and it was quite stinky in the middle of the night.

This hotel is incredibly quiet and comfortable, with excellent cleanliness. The breakfast is lavish, and the service is outstanding. Before arrival, a butler added me on WeChat to provide information about the weather, local attractions, and the shuttle bus from the high-speed rail station. On the evening of check-in, the butler called again to ask how my stay was and if I needed anything, which made me feel very well taken care of. The hotel is divided into sections: Ocean Castle, Desert Castle, Glacier Castle, and Forest Castle, each with its own unique character. The kids had a fantastic time at Haihua Island, and staying at the Oubao Hotel while visiting Haihua Island is an excellent choice.

Compared to star-rated hotel pools in Macau, the temperature here isn't as pleasant. 【Exceeded Expectations】 1. The hotel had a rich variety of activities. I specifically set aside a day to enjoy them at the hotel. A special shout-out to the activities coordinator; she was very patient with the children and even called me to confirm the meeting time and place. 2. The hotel's location is great, and there are space-themed activities. The astronaut suits and airplane-shaped trolleys in the family room were a huge hit with the kids. 3. Thoughtful Service: For the sunrise viewing activity, they provided hot water and cookies 🍪, which was very heartwarming 🥰, and the cookies were delicious 😋. My only minor complaint is that the second room we were moved to was quite far away. Because there were fewer people around, my child was a bit scared of the quiet and wouldn't walk by herself at night 🙈.

We specifically chose MGM to celebrate my child's 12th birthday, and the hotel really went above and beyond! They prepared a cake, fruit, pastries, coconuts, and even a little lion stuffed animal and a towel cake. It was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in a poolside room, and the water temperature was perfect; most of the pools are heated, which was great for the kids. The petting zoo was fantastic, my child went multiple times to play with the animals. Overall, MGM is highly recommended for families with children, offering plenty of kids' activities and a lively atmosphere. There are performances in the middle of the pool and a beach bar where you can enjoy the ocean view while listening to music. The service was excellent, and our butler was very warm and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All in all, it's a top-tier family-friendly hotel in Sanya. Awesome!

The butler service was excellent, and they were very responsive to our requests! Having a good butler makes a hotel stay much more relaxed. However, there are a few areas I think could be improved: 1. The lobby staff showed very little service awareness when it came to greeting and guiding guests who arrived by car. 2. On January 2nd, there were a lot of agricultural machines, possibly for an exhibition or something. There was only one security guard at the entrance, and both security supervision and guest guidance were severely lacking. 3. Finally, on January 3rd, the sun came out, but the lawn's logo letters had been removed. People come to stay at the Westin in Wanning to enjoy the hotel experience, right? Yet, the iconic feature on your front beach was gone, and there was a long row of agricultural machines below the lobby. It was quite perplexing.

This guesthouse really shines in terms of its views and service. It's fantastic for photos, and it's so close to the beach. If you like a lively atmosphere, there are even parties in the evenings. The only minor drawback is that there's no closet in the room, which is a little inconvenient. The hotel's photography service is also excellent and definitely worth recommending.

The Hilton is definitely the best hotel on Ocean Flower Island, and its location is fantastic. There's a gourmet food street nearby, and a McDonald's just a few steps downstairs. It's super convenient for catching the light show at night, and visiting the museum complex and outlet mall during the day. The hotel facilities are also great; having a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music is a nice touch. The first room I stayed in was quite small. Even though the front desk had thoughtfully given me a room on a higher floor, the hallway in the room still felt cramped. Later, because the air conditioning broke, they moved me to a larger sea-view room, and suddenly, the room felt much more comfortable. The biggest downside in the room was that the shower water wasn't hot enough. After showering, I was freezing! It was practically lukewarm water. The bath towels were also cold, not absorbent, and felt slippery – just so cold. Another drawback was that the windows were very heavy; you needed staff to help open or close them, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, the service staff were generally very good, and my overall experience was still pretty positive.

Although two pools were technically operational, neither felt inviting or photo‑worthy. One had been converted into a sand pit, and temporary barriers were set up everywhere to block day visitors, which created an eye sore. Construction further took away from the atmosphere. Breakfast offered a decent selection and was sufficient overall, though friends who had visited before mentioned that the spread used to be better. After a few days, you’ll likely find yourself eating more or less the same items. Communication could also be smoother. Having at least one staff member who speaks English—or an alternative text‑based communication option—would make the stay easier for international guests. The Sky Lounge, however, was comfortable and a pleasant place to relax. Dining inside the hotel isn’t particularly affordable, but not too bad for a hotel, and I would have appreciated a stronger seafood selection. Many guests seemed to opt for food delivery instead. Small in‑room additions like earbuds, toothpicks, and a notepad would also elevate the experience. Overall, Phoenix Hotel Sanya offers beautiful views and convenient on‑site amenities, but there’s room for improvement in facilities, dining, and guest communication.

An unparalleled experience! The hotel was grand in every aspect, making us feel right at home. We booked a Royal Club King Room, and it came with a complimentary afternoon tea upgrade. Since we missed the evening 'Sweet Hour', the butler, a lovely and kind young lady, graciously offered us afternoon tea for the following day instead. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing us with all the necessary timings and important tips. **Facilities:** The TV felt a bit small for a Royal Club room. **Cleanliness:** Exceptionally clean. The bathtub didn't even need a liner, and the bath towels and hand towels were all very soft. The hotel provided two large and one small blue pool slippers, plus two large and one small white disposable slippers. **Service:** After our first swim, the bathrobes got completely soaked. The hotel promptly provided two extra sets, which was very efficient. **Location:** It's in a prime spot in Haitang Bay, about 1.8 kilometers from the CDF Duty-Free City.

The hotel offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for both Meilan Airport and the high-speed train station 🚗. As soon as I entered the room, I was impressed by the design; the view was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable 🌿. The breakfast was also super rich and perfectly balanced 🍲. The service was attentive, and the attention to detail was impeccable 👍. Next time I come to Haikou, I'll definitely stay here again! ✨✨
