AAimenggeHaving heard so much about Wangxian Valley, finally seeing it today, 'stunning' and 'awe-inspiring' are the most fitting words. It's especially remarkable knowing that its predecessor was an ecologically devastated area due to over-mining. To transform it into such a grand, retro-style Gan-style village, designed and rebuilt with incredible creativity, building scenery along the mountain cliffs – it truly makes for a breathtaking sight. The design and construction are incredibly thoughtful; almost every corner, every plant, and tree is a beautiful scene you can't help but capture with your camera. Yet, you also want to put the camera down and let your eyes soak in the beauty. The room layout is also excellent, with a strong homestay vibe. From the moment we arrived, staff were there to help with luggage and guide us, even delivering bags to our room – it's all very standardized and well-managed service. However, one day here really feels rushed; if you have enough time, I'd suggest two days to truly experience it. Oh, and the breakfast is incredibly rich, offering both local specialties and classic Chinese and Western breakfast items. The food is genuinely delicious, and the variety surpasses even five-star hotels. We stayed near the guesthouse reception center. The only drawback was the lack of dining options nearby; we had to walk to the snack street at the bottom of the valley or to the few restaurants in the middle section, but they closed quite early. Later, we discovered that the old enclosed building at the guesthouse reception center actually had many specialty snacks and delicacies, and they were open very late. The Yangkou fried noodles, clear soup wontons (get the ones with egg!), and the crock pot stew at the very back were all delicious. Highly recommend!

RRollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review Overview: I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city. The Good: 1. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

CCherry14Extremely satisfied, highly recommend staying here when visiting Wangxian Valley! The scenery is so different between day and night. The room type is very spacious and the facilities are quite new. The twin room easily accommodates four people. It's clean and bright. Staff are enthusiastic and helpful with parking, shuttle service, and check-in. They'll even carry your luggage to your room. Plus, there's a free butler service; Little Bear Butler was very attentive, answering all our questions, which was incredibly convenient. They even thoughtfully provided a bug repellent kit upon check-in.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

GGuest UserI couldn't wait to write a review after the first night! After years of traveling, this is hands-down my favorite homestay. You can tell it's high quality and thoughtfully managed. The underfloor heating and air conditioning were already on, ready for our arrival. They offer free electric scooter rentals and free charging. There's afternoon tea, coffee, and even a sweet soup in the evening. We arrived at 10 PM, and even before we got there, a warm soup was waiting for us. The butler was incredibly responsive to every request, helping me get everything settled. The next morning, breakfast was delivered right to our door promptly at 8 AM – so efficient and punctual! One evening, all the electric scooters were taken, and the front desk lady even lent me her own, along with a scarf, hat, and gloves. It was incredibly heartwarming. My child had an online class that ended a bit late, and most restaurants outside were closed. The owner personally cooked us a few dishes. Although the ingredients were simple, it was the warmest gesture on a cold winter night. If you're going to Jingdezhen, stay here; you absolutely won't regret it!

YYoYo_shuangrenyuThe hotel's location is pretty good; you can see the lake and boats right from the room. It was just a shame it rained so heavily at night that there was water all outside the room door. I imagine the experience would have been even better on a clear day. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, provided excellent service and even gave us a complimentary fruit platter. The room's cleanliness was also quite good.

GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is nestled halfway up Wangxian Valley, surrounded by rolling green hills, with a gentle stream flowing by the entrance. The air is filled with the fresh scent of the forest, indicating a superb natural environment. The rooms feature panoramic windows, offering excellent natural light and ventilation. The entire house is meticulously cleaned daily, and the bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas. The bedding is soft and clean, and all kinds of amenities are provided. Big thanks to our housekeeper, Huanhuan! 👍👍👍👍 Huanhuan is very knowledgeable about the scenic area's day and night views. She helped us plan a relaxed itinerary based on the daily crowd and weather, and sent useful tips for parking and park entry in advance. She even shared recommendations for affordable local farm-to-table restaurants that locals frequent. Her service was thoughtful and discreet, never intruding on our rest, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique tranquil and healing atmosphere of the valley. In summary, fantastic! 👍👍👍

GGuest Usermoment🫧 A blissful moment 🥣 A few days in Jingdezhen 🤍 Staying in a minimalist, 'blank canvas' space nestled in the mountains, with white walls, interplay of light and shadow, and distant mountains, sketching out the most gentle sense of ease. There's no hustle and bustle here, only a breathing-like quiet, and lazy moments enveloped in gentleness. As light and shadow shift, life slows to a leisurely pace, allowing the mountain breeze and your relaxed self to truly connect. The hotel's overall aesthetic is a minimalist white tone, so clean it's instantly captivating. Large areas of blank space paired with transparent floor-to-ceiling windows make the distant mountains and greenery the most captivating decor indoors. ☁️ Curl up on a lounge chair by the pool to sunbathe, or snuggle into a soft sofa in your room with a cold drink. Light and shadow slowly flow with time, and even the air exudes a sense of relaxation. The hotel's attention to detail really impressed me, from the simple soft furnishings in the public areas to the skin-friendly bedding in the rooms – every detail reveals thoughtful sophistication. Here, there's no need to rush; just slow down and enjoy the tranquility and healing embrace of the surrounding greenery. #ResortHotel #BoutiqueHotel #HotelReview #TravelDiary #WeekendGetaway #VacationOutfits #Jingdezhen #ResortHotel #MinimalistHotel #RelaxingGetaway #HiddenGemHotel #WeekendTrips #HighValueHotel

DDm.sgI stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming. I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking. One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore. I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection. My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.
