The Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan truly lives up to its five-star reputation. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent amenities, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are very convenient. The toiletries, bath towels, and hand towels were all impeccably clean, and the large bath towels were especially comfortable. The lobby is quite grand and impressive. The staff were all very welcoming, especially the gentleman at the front desk who checked me in. He was patient, thorough, and attentive. Since I'm older and have trouble sleeping, I requested a quiet room, and the staff member, whose name tag read 'Qiao,' arranged it perfectly for me. The baggage handlers in the lobby were also very friendly. The Kempinski's management is quite generous; I came back late one night and realized I'd forgotten to buy water, and the front desk immediately arranged for four bottles to be sent to my room. I'm truly grateful for that. The breakfast selection was also quite rich.

This time I stayed at the desert tent hotel, and its facilities were far beyond my expectations! There is a viewing terrace outside the tent, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs, allowing me to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the desert sunrise and sunset. The interior of the tent is no slouch either, and it stays nice and cool even on a scorching desert day. The independent bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, with a stable supply of hot water and high-quality toiletries. There are also a lot of entertainment facilities, including desert motorcycles, sandboards, etc., which satisfy my pursuit of exciting experiences. What’s even more thoughtful is that the tent is also equipped with an emergency medicine kit and charging equipment, showing care in every detail. Such high-quality facilities gave me an unforgettable desert trip!

The butler will contact guests a day in advance. The hotel is located inside the Tonghu Scenic Area, and the room rate includes admission tickets. This is the only hotel in the scenic area, so there are no outsiders. The hotel's front desk is at the main entrance of the Tonghu Grassland Scenic Area, with free parking. There's a 4x4 shuttle service within the area. The Starlight Restaurant is right next to the tent area, making dining convenient. It usually includes a buffet breakfast and a buffet hot pot dinner with good quality ingredients and a wide selection. There's a shuttle service to the bonfire party, which features a high-quality equestrian show, not just simple amateur entertainment. The rooms are tents. Our room type only had a password lock on the tent zipper, but since there are no outsiders in the park, it felt safe. Soundproofing isn't great because it's a warm tent. Each room type has a private bathroom and toilet, also in an attached tent form. Amenities are complete, including Crocs-style slippers and body lotion. The stand-up air conditioner heats and cools quickly, and there's also an oil-filled radiator for heating. It's hot during the day and cold at night, so you need to use both heating and cooling throughout the day. It's dry, so you can hang a wet towel. There are sand toys and sand sleds everywhere outside the room, and sand dunes right outside your tent, so you can play freely. Everything you could need is provided. If you stay for multiple nights, you'll need to drive quite a distance to visit other places during the day. Actually, one night and the next morning are sufficient. There are plenty of daytime activities, making it suitable for families with children. However, adults can use the daytime for excursions.

The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. Hot water supply was stable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed night's rest. The facilities were comprehensive, the hallways were clean and odorless, and the cleaning staff were very attentive. Overall, it offers great value for money. The environment is quiet and elegant, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful, making it perfect for both short trips and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting – it's a trustworthy choice!

The first hotel I stayed in when I came to Yinchuan. Everything in the new hotel is very new. You can see that the decoration and equipment are also carefully designed, such as hair dryers, toothbrushes, electric toilets, humidifiers, etc. The room is quite large and has a balcony. The environment is also very clean, minimalist style, the service attitude is also very good, and the front desk lady is great~ The disadvantage is that the location is a bit remote, there are not many restaurants nearby, and you have to drive there, so it is recommended to pack breakfast. But it is still very close to the Western Xia Imperial Mausoleum, so it is recommended to check in there. Then after checking in to the new hotel, it is still recommended to open the window for ventilation.

Tengol really brought my desert fantasies to life, it felt like something out of One Thousand and One Nights! The facilities are top-notch; the rammed-earth architecture creates an incredible atmosphere. There's some room for improvement on the service side, though. The front desk area is too small – it gets really cramped with just a few people, and with only two check-in stations, efficiency is a bit low. Plus, every available space is piled with luggage, which looks messy and isn't very aesthetic. The breakfast was excellent and diverse, featuring local specialties like freshly prepared 'saunzi' noodles, sand onion bread, and camel milk. The complimentary dune buggy ride was fantastic – super thrilling and a lot of fun!

Stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in the desert. There is still such accommodation in the desert, it is really satisfying, air conditioning, electric toilet, terrace, private bathroom, comprehensive facilities and high comfort. The night view is beautiful, the stargazing location recommended by the boss, the whole starry sky is raised, and the journey becomes particularly unforgettable. The bonfire fireworks atmosphere is full. Breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner hot pot, barbecue... are quite comprehensive, this trip is not only good to eat, live well, and have fun.

The campground is inside the Impression Tengger Scenic Area. There are campgrounds all around (I checked and found that almost all the ones offering free Tengger tickets are located nearby). Sandstorm offers the best value. 😁 The service was excellent. Mr. Li contacted me right after booking to confirm how to get to the campground. (If you drive, you can only reach the scenic area entrance; it's all desert inside and you have to change cars. There's no guide, and you don't know the way. 😂) Tengger activities are right next to it. The hotel has a bonfire, iron flower making, fireworks, and a karaoke bar. It's all quite lively. After 5 or 6, when the sun isn't so strong, it's wonderful to walk along the sand dunes for two or three hours. It's refreshing and you can even watch the sunset. The shared bathrooms are also quite spacious, with lockers and benches for storing clothes. A tip for you ladies: wash and change into your regular shoes before returning to your tent (you'll still get sandy if you wear slippers. 😂) It rained this time, so unfortunately I couldn't see the stars, but it was a special experience. Even with the strong wind and heavy rain, sand didn't get into the tent, which was great. 😀

I fully feel the hospitality of Ningxia people here. As a B&B hotel, the facilities are not enough compared with regular hotels, but as soon as I enter the hotel, I have always felt friendly and warm, and it is worth recommending to everyone.
