My overall experience at the Potala Palace View Hotel (Potala Palace Branch) was extremely satisfying. The room directly faces the Potala Palace, offering a panoramic view where both the morning and night scenery have their unique charm. Just sitting by the window, you can quietly enjoy this breathtaking and peaceful sight. The hotel's rooftop restaurant also boasts a great location, allowing you to dine with views of the Potala Palace, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Whether during check-in or dining, any requests were promptly addressed and resolved, making me feel completely at ease. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is considerate. It's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lhasa who wants a comfortable stay with convenient access to views. Highly recommended.

The room facilities are very new, the hotel service is very good, and the housekeeper Nizhen is very attentive and considerate. You can also choose the hotel restaurant for meals. Overall, I feel that the price-performance ratio is good. The stone pot chicken is delicious. I will choose to stay here again when I come to Linzhi next time.

Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available. Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!

Having stayed at the St. Regis in Qingdao, I chose the St. Regis again for my trip to Lhasa, and my four-night stay was absolutely fantastic. In terms of environment, the hotel's design perfectly embodies ******* characteristics. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable and soft. For guests experiencing altitude sickness, getting a good night's sleep is crucial, and the oxygen concentrator in the room provided significant relief. Each room comes with a dedicated butler who is incredibly responsive to every request – this deserves a huge commendation. I also tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant; both the dishes and the service were excellent, though the portion sizes were indeed very generous – a set meal for 4-5 people was impossible to finish. The St. Regis's Tibetan-style bear is quite unique and makes for a wonderful souvenir. If I have the chance to return, I would definitely choose the St. Regis again; it's truly trustworthy.

I booked this hotel for a three day stay and had an amazing time. The front desk staff and the third-floor restaurant team were incredibly kind, sweet, polite, and respectful. The food was not only super delicious but also reasonably priced. The bathroom and blankets in the room were all spotlessly clean. It’s absolutely worth a visit – I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lhasa who’s struggling to pick a place to stay. You won’t regret booking here.

Staying in Lhasa's 400-year-old 'Living Fossil'! The Gurkha Hotel is absolutely brilliant! ✨ Seriously, you guys! I stayed at a hotel in Lhasa where you can literally 'touch history.' It instantly transformed my Tibet trip from mere 'sightseeing' into a truly immersive experience. This blogger is officially obsessed and wholeheartedly recommends it! 🏨 First off, the location is absolutely tailor-made for an in-depth exploration—right in the heart of the Barkhor Street kora route, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! In the early morning, you can follow the elderly faithful along the cobblestone paths during their kora. In the evening, after browsing the shops on Barkhor Street, you can simply turn around and step right into this Tibetan-style courtyard. The sheer bliss of not having to rush back is something only those who stay here will truly understand! 🙌🏻 🌅 But what truly makes it special is its 'heritage'! Once the Nepalese Consulate, this 400-year-old building still bears the marks of time: ******* carvings on the wooden beams, prayer wheels in the courtyard, prayer flags hanging from the eaves. Even the angle at which the sunlight hits the stone paths feels like a replication of old times. Sipping a coffee in the incredibly atmospheric courtyard, your fingertips tracing the warm cup, the aroma of coffee mingling with the serene tranquility of Tibet—time itself seems to slow down. ☕️~ ⚠️ And here’s the highlight: the check-in perks that truly elevate the '******* cultural experience' to the max: 1️⃣ Free ******* clothing rental! Wearing it to stroll Barkhor Street, passersby actually thought I was a local, and my photos felt incredibly authentic and immersive!~ 2️⃣ The hotel offers 10 complimentary courtyard travel photoshoots. They have their own photography studio, and the photographers are experts at capturing the light and shadows of the ancient architecture. No need to find angles yourself; effortlessly capture those 'timeless' and 'epic' shots! 3️⃣ The room comes with a special high-altitude care package! Face masks, conditioner, essential oil makeup remover—all provided. They understand the challenges of high-altitude dryness and our thoughtful skincare needs.~ 4️⃣ Free admission to the Gesar Japo Museum! Listen to staff share stories of the consulate from 400 years ago, then enjoy a complimentary sweet tea. You'll instantly grasp the 'romance of old Lhasa'! What's even more surprising is how modern comforts are seamlessly integrated within this ancient structure! Rooms are equipped with oxygen facilities, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even at high altitude. The rooftop cafe offers stunning night views of the Potala Palace. A latte enjoyed with that ancient building view? Pure bliss! The breakfast's ******* noodles and tsampa (a traditional ******* staple food) are incredibly authentic! And the service? Absolutely impeccable! The front desk staff offer traditional Hada scarves and sweet tea, and the security guards help with luggage, showing incredible care, just like family! Coming to Lhasa and want to stay comfortably while deeply experiencing ******* culture? Look no further! Staying here isn't just about a night's rest; it's about creating a ******* story that will forever be etched in your memory.~ 📍 Location: No. 45 Linkuo South Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa

The hotel is very good, all aspects of service are meticulous and thoughtful, suitable for staying. From Lhasa to Nyingchi, the most satisfying thing is this hotel with a blind box. After watching Rizhao Nanga Bawa in Suosong Village, I decided to stay temporarily. This hotel has a large parking lot and a charging pile (I haven't tried it). A variety of tea, refreshments, lighters, head ropes, earplugs are provided free of charge in the lobby, and the store is very careful. Breakfast is a buffet form, with vegetable salad and porridge + pickles, which can finally nourish the stomach. I feel that the buffet breakfast is worth the fare, invincible mountain view restaurant, hahaha.

There’s room for improvement for the check in service. I provide my personal id card for check in but the customer service requested me the booking number which I find it ridiculous. The hotel was booked under my name and they supposed could have checked my booking right away. The customer service replied that it was relatively troublesome if only id is provided. I am clueless as to the standard of customer service provided by this 5 stars hotel. The rest of my stay is pleasant.

Had a wonderful stay here. It's not far from Barkhor Street. The public areas are exceptionally beautiful, with balconies on every floor, and you can even see the Potala Palace from the rooftop. The room was very comfortable, from the soft furnishings to the amenities – having a face towel was a really pleasant surprise! The hotel offers various activities like sound bath meditation and ******* incense making. You can just tell the butler if you need anything. This trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't get to spend much time at the hotel, but I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Lhasa.

This time I went to Lhasa and checked almost all the scattered oxygen supply hotels near Yutuo Road. I finally chose the Potala Palace Yixuan Hotel. The stay experience far exceeded expectations! The hotel is in a great location, about 5 minutes walk to the Potala Palace Square, and very close to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel is very new and quiet, the rooms are spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, the facilities are very complete, there is free dispersion oxygen supply and humidifier, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the heating smart toilet, and the disposable supplies are fully equipped. There is free bottled mineral water at the elevator entrance. One thing to mention in particular, when checking in, there is also a highland VIP courtesy of Hada. The beautiful Tibetan girl at the front desk is very warm and polite. We upgraded the big bed outside window room for free. We also intimately helped the suitcase to the room and helped open the diffuse oxygen supply. And arranged for someone to send the nose tube, originally after getting off the plane, I felt a little high reaction, after more than an hour of oxygen, I felt full of vitality, that afternoon I went to the Potala Palace, I was worried that the high reaction arranged to go the next day. It is very quiet at night, sleeps very soundly, and diffuse oxygen supply from 2 pm to 8 am the next morning. The sixth floor of the hotel is one of the great places to see the Potala Palace. You can also lie down and enjoy the sun and have a cup of coffee. In general, the stay experience is superb, next time I come to Lhasa, I will choose to stay at Yixuan Hotel, thank you for giving us a warm experience. Five-star praise!

YYizepingguoThe location is excellent, right opposite the Tibet Museum, just a 5-minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is very convenient; during the off-season, you can park directly in front of the lobby without even going down to the underground garage. The front desk staff was very professional in helping us check in and thoughtfully reminded us to rest on our first day at high altitude. The room has a traditional and warm ******* decor. When visiting Tibet in the off-season (December), it's essential to stay in a warm hotel to alleviate the discomfort of high altitude. Even in Tibet, Shangri-La's breakfast maintains its usual high standard. Be sure to try the tsampa and homemade yogurt. We also happened to meet Kent, who is in charge of the restaurant, and he provided excellent service and recommended some itineraries for exploring Tibet.

GGuest UserHigh-quality central diffused oxygen for 18 hours: The room is equipped with oxygen and a humidifier, and the diffused oxygen is very practical. ******* clothing experience: There's a clothing experience in the lobby area where you can take photos in the courtyard. During our stay, staff continuously helped us carry our luggage to the Rhodiola Rosea reception, which was very enthusiastic and thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel. They also have a dedicated car service that can take you to indoor attractions like the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, which makes getting around very convenient. The hotel is also very close to the Potala Palace and other downtown areas; it's a 10-minute taxi ride, which is super convenient.

The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.
