We were checked in by Mr Kadeer, who informed us that the room I booked is located in the basement. He kindly offered to show us the room to ensure that we like it. The room was huge with a little courtyard for hanging your laundry. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too.
When we were there, a few weddings took place. There was a public lotus lake outside the hotel but sad to say it was very much neglected otherwise it would have boosted the hotel’s location. If you happened to be there on a weekend, take a right turn from the hotel entrance and walk to the end of the road. Across the road you can find a busy street of eateries with gatherings of families and friends.
Great hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!
There were no signs indicating where to park, so I took the wrong elevator and wandered around before finally getting back to the hotel. (There were no signs after getting off the elevator either; it was impossible to tell which door led to the exit.)
The lobby was freezing. I've been traveling in Xinjiang for a week, and this is the first hotel lobby I've experienced this cold.
I used my room upgrade privileges when I booked, but I wasn't upgraded, and the front desk didn't give me a reason. Did they simply not see it?
Absolutely loved JJ Coffeetel in Turpan. First and foremost, a huge kudos to the front staffers, especially Mustafa! He not only responded to our unusual requests but kindly showed us around the neighborhood. Along with other staffers, he also helped us get some items we’d been looking for from a local merchant. Our room had a nice view and the breakfast was a critical energy booster every morning. I guess there’d be a limit to this service depending on the season but they also helped us coordinate our one-day tour to Huoyanshan and the two old citadels. Thank you again for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We will be back!

The hotel staff were very welcoming and the place was clean and tidy. Parking was super convenient, and as a member, they even upgraded my room for free! The facilities were complete, and the breakfast food was delicious with a good variety. It's right by the ancient city, and they even send daily discount coupons via WeChat. Great value for money, I was very satisfied overall 😊

I had an early morning flight the next day and needed to check into a hotel near Tian Shan International Airport. After looking at several options, I chose this one because they offered a triple room and airport shuttle service starting at 5:00 AM. The triple room wasn't huge, but it was very clean, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well-done. I didn't get to try their breakfast, but the complimentary afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. Plus, there's free coffee and bottled water in the lobby on the first floor, and a subway station nearby with a direct line to the Grand Bazaar in the city center. This place is full of pleasant surprises! Definitely recommend it!
Facilities: Very good, comparable to an international five-star hotel, with smart control throughout the house. There is also an Apple all-in-one computer in the business area in the lobby that can be used for temporary office work. The computer broke down, and it was very good to work here for two days!
Hygiene: Very clean, can't find any faults, the details of hygiene are also in place, there is no peculiar smell in the room, the guest room corridor, the elevator, and the lobby public area are also spotless and fragrant
Environment: Single house and courtyard, quiet in the bustling city, a few steps away from the food street
Service: From the manager of the airport pick-up station to the front desk and the guest room, they are all very good, and they are responsive
This price should be said to have no rivals, free airport pick-up and drop-off, and free upgrade to a larger room, the off-season cost performance is directly full!
Recommended to stay 👍
The front desk is good 👍

The bed was super comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent. Waking up to the sun in the morning really put me in a great mood! A quality stay usually includes a clean and tidy environment, comfortable bedding, a convenient location, attentive service, good soundproofing, and high-speed internet. Details like the quality of toiletries, breakfast options, and personalized room service can also significantly enhance the overall experience.

AAnonymous UserI initially booked another hotel, but when I arrived, it was far from what I expected, and there was nowhere to park. Luckily, I passed by this resplendent hotel, glittering with lights, so I canceled the other booking and switched to this one. The price was the same, which surprised me as I thought it would be expensive, but it was actually quite good. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of parking, which was very convenient. The hotel was warm, and while the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was still decent.
YYuluoyishiqing♡My stay at the Urumqi Baili Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The elegant British-inspired design made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. The room was clean and tidy, and the cinema-style book bar added a lot of fun to my trip.
The breakfast was the absolute highlight. The variety was so extensive that I could have something different every day, ranging from authentic Xinjiang specialties to exquisite Chinese and Western pastries. All the hot dishes were of high quality, which I really appreciated.
From the patient guidance at check-in by the front desk staff, to the thoughtful protection from the security personnel, and the meticulous service from the logistics team, every single staff member impressed me with their professional and warm demeanor. Their attitude made my whole family feel truly at home.

GGuest UserStay here for 5 nights, got the 7th floor, 6 bed female dorm. They provided one time use bath towel & tooth brush everyday. Location was superb, just 10 min walk to Grand Bazaar, bus stop just across the street pay 1 RMB and you can go everywhere in Urumqi. They also provided self laundry for free, hot water for drinking also available. But you have to re-swipe your room card at receptionist everyday, otherwise the card cannot be use to enter the room. It's good to stay here.
MMiaolegemiFive stars, highly recommended! A ski-in/ski-out gem right next to Geikieling Ski Resort.
As a huge ski enthusiast, my stay at M hotel was absolutely divine, deserving a perfect score! The hotel's location, right in the west area of Geikieling Ski Resort, offers the ultimate ski-in/ski-out convenience. No need to lug heavy ski equipment around – you can literally ski right back to your room after a day on the slopes. For any skier, this setup is a dream come true, giving you an extra hour of skiing every day. Pure bliss!
The room was clean and comfortable, and the ski equipment storage area was spacious and dry, so no worries about gear getting damp. The most impressive part was the breakfast buffet; the variety was so extensive it was hard to choose! The freshly baked bread was crispy and delicious, the hot food section offered authentic local flavors, and there was a wide selection of fruits, yogurts, and Western cold dishes. Whether you're refueling after skiing or just grabbing a quick bite before hitting the slopes, you'll be incredibly satisfied.
I also have to praise the hotel's service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, from helping carry my skis during check-in to proactively informing me about the ski conditions and recommending the best times to ski. They were enthusiastic and thoughtful throughout. Any issues were addressed incredibly quickly, showing warmth and attention to detail in every interaction.
For ski lovers, M hotel is the ideal choice for your stay. Next time I come to Geikieling for skiing, I will definitely choose this place again!
AAnonymous UserThe B&B is very beautiful, in a relatively remote place. You can see the river and beautiful mountains in front. The scenery is very beautiful. You can see the beautiful scenery when you open the curtains. The yard is also very comfortable. The boss and staff are very warm and friendly. However, because it is by the river, there are many mosquitoes in the room, so the boss enthusiastically bought mosquito coils for us. The recliner in the room was not easy to use. I fell down when I sat on it. Wi-Fi is also not easy to use, and basic apps such as WeChat group, **, and Taobao cannot be opened at all on the second floor.
Management needs to be improved. We were only given one toothbrush and three towels for the four of us.
Breakfast also starts relatively late, which is not suitable for people who need to go out early to visit attractions. In addition, the hotel does not have a washing machine, so it is inconvenient to not be able to wash clothes if you are traveling to Xinjiang for a long time.
In addition, it is very inconvenient that there are no curtains in the bathroom. When taking a shower at night, you can see the shower area just by walking through the path on the back.
Overall, it's a very good accommodation, recommended!
GGuest UserElla is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well
GGuest UserThe front desk service is good, especially Adila is warm and friendly. I originally booked one day, and then added two days. It is clean, the environment is good, and the room is comfortable. I will choose this hotel next time.
LLilyDThis place is amazing, in terms of location it is located amongst the local housing / schools a little bit in the alley however it is not far from public transportation (the subway is 800m away) and taxis are plenty. The room is great for the price it offers, i stayed in the duplex for 3 nights, it was spacious and clean. The amenities are of great qualities too, towels/bedsheets are clean. The front desk are very welcoming and helpful. I don’t speak Mandarin, however this was not a problem as we can communicate through wechat/translation app and they were willing to help me as much as they could and that alone show that the hospitality is beyond expectation. Another great thing is, one of the host speaks great English too! As a foreigner, this is a plus point of staying at this great accomodation, although I would suggest that any traveler to learn a little bit of the local language to have a more memorable travel experience. The host gives great travel advices as well. I would definitely be back again at this place when I visit Xinjiang in the future 💖

LLestertutuPros: The breakfast was very generous.
Cons:
1. I'm baffled as to why the recurring issue of 'difficult parking and rude staff' in the parking lot, mentioned by so many guests, still hasn't been resolved. The parking attendants treat guests like animals, shooing them away. Even a budget hotel wouldn't have staff like this, let alone a Conrad! I paid 2000 for a night, wasn't I paying for service and comfort?
2. My parents were staying, and as they're older, I hoped the butler would be more proactive and helpful, but it still fell short of expectations. On our trips, whether in Beijing, Guizhou, Guangxi, or Sichuan, the butlers always actively offered experience options and reminded us of things to do and learn about. Only the Conrad butler was incredibly un-proactive; it was hard to tell who was the guest and who was the butler. Even worse, when the car's license plate wasn't registered for some unknown reason, we waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes before the butler finally helped register it.
3. There's no one to guide you to the sky lobby elevator or the check-in elevator. Today, my parents were checking in, and I had to video call them and guide them step-by-step. What about elderly guests without children? Are they supposed to wander around confused downstairs? If you don't have a concierge to direct guests, at least put up a clear sign! Where are your customer relations and concierge departments?
4. I've noticed that your responses to negative service reviews on Ctrip are uniformly perfunctory. I've also seen that you basically don't resolve the issues mentioned in the comments. I will be writing a letter of complaint to your headquarters. That's all.
