The Kaleidoscope room is truly amazing! You can capture the chimney night view right from the balcony, and the most stunning surprise was on the day we left – I opened the curtains and saw the sunrise, it was absolutely beautiful.
The hotel staff's service attitude was also excellent. I accidentally scraped another car while parking, and they quickly helped resolve it. They even gave us two complimentary breakfasts afterward. I'm truly grateful; this hotel is genuinely fantastic.
The shuttle bus takes you directly to the scenic area for photos, but the Dongfengyun Scenic Area is only really suitable for taking pictures; we finished exploring in half an hour. By 3 PM, we were so bored we just watched TV at the hotel. If I hadn't booked the hotel in advance, I would have just gone back to Kunming that evening.

Beautiful, nice, and clean place. The room does not have smoke smell, which is very good for my family. The location is very good, near old town and main road. There is no problem with noise even if it is located near old town with many people passing. The owner is very friendly and can speak English pretty well. As we stay there for 3 night, there is a free pick-up service from the train station. My group travel with 6 people, unable to speak Chinese, and Didi app in Lijiang dont provide you with 6 ppl seat car. The owner help us reserve the car for our travel, where the car pick us up in front of the hotel, which is really convenient. No problem with communication for foreigner like me.

Very nice hotel in a central location, close to the North gate. We stayed here the two nights before our trekking in the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the two nights after coming back from the trekking. For our second stay we received a free upgrade of the room. This time we had a balcony and a bathtub. The room was a bit more at the front of the hotel so also a bit noisier during the evening and night. And light was coming in through the bathroom window. But it did not bother us and we slept very well as the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is terrific. We would definitely come back here for our next stay. Highly recommended!

Our independent trip to Yunnan concluded in Kunming, our final stop. We chose the Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center because it's right next to Kunming's old town, placing us in the most vibrant part of downtown. Adjacent to it is the upscale Shuncheng Shopping Mall, and the Wuyi Road Station (Exit B) of Metro Line 3 is just 200 meters away.
We stayed on the 28th floor, offering fantastic views of the Jinma Biji Archway, both day and night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering advice on transportation and tourist attractions from a local's perspective. I really appreciate their assistance.
The room was very clean, with a wide selection of live TV channels. The bathroom had modern shower facilities, and the bed and other amenities were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
A short 10-minute walk takes you to the 'Paper-Thin Buildings' in Kunming's old town (such as Duiyue Tower and Jiubei Tower, built to commemorate the 1946 victory in the Anti-Japanese War), which are quite lively in the evening. Nearby, you can also find the former residence of Mr. Nie Er (born in Kunming, he passed away at 23). The pedestrian area boasts many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, and bars, making it easy to find good food and enjoy some leisure time.

A beautiful hotel located in a fantastic place in Lijiang Old Town. The owner was very welcoming and on arrival let us leave our bags for us to explore the town and when we returned he welcomed us with his own Chinese tea. The room was great! Good size, very comfortable beds, warm, good shower and toilet too. It had a lovely courtyard view and window seat. The owner helped us and answered all of our questions through WeChat and let us leave our bags for our fins day. We would 100% recommend!

I booked two identical rooms, both on the third floor. Room 1820 felt slightly larger than 1819. Room 1820 faced the street, so I could faintly hear music from a nearby bar at night, but it stopped after 11 PM.
**Amenities**: Comprehensive, including air conditioning, disposable towels and bath towels, and a large TV.
**Hygiene**: Exceptionally clean.
**Environment**: Appealing, clean, and well-equipped.
**Service**: Proactive, enthusiastic, and thoughtful.

The highlight of my Lijiang trip has to be the Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, a Hyatt Centric hotel! I've stayed in countless hotels, but this place truly captivated me with its 'bustling outside, serene inside' experience. It's just a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town, and after soaking in the vibrant atmosphere there, you can retreat to this Naxi-style courtyard oasis. The red walls and black tiles reflected in the flowing water, even the air feels relaxing.
The room was an absolute delight. The solid wood furniture exuded a warm, rich feel. The hotel offers many activities, and the service details were impeccable. You can even catch a glimpse of the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the breakfast restaurant. The room also came with a large bathtub, adding a perfect touch of vacation luxury. The hotel staff were always prompt and thoughtful, making the trip feel like a warm family visit.
From the facilities to the service details, everything showcased a five-star quality. I particularly want to thank Christina for her attentive care, which made the entire journey incredibly comfortable. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely choose this hotel again!
📍Location: The location is excellent, located at the junction of Hongta Avenue and Wenhua Road in the city center, next to the Yuxi Museum, opposite the beautiful Nie Er Park, and it is very convenient to enter and exit by bus/Didi.
🔸Service: Polite and professional, supplementary items in the room can be delivered immediately, and the welcome fruit is good.
🔹Facilities: The weather was hot during the few days of stay, and the air conditioning could not be turned on all day. The hotel made corresponding explanations and took relevant cooling measures. The executive room is large, with a suite design style, a large-size dual TV, and free 🆓tourism information at the front desk and in the room.
🍚Food: The buffet breakfast is relatively rich and has many categories.
👉The hotel is listed with 4️⃣ stars, with high overall cost performance, recommended!

Green Lake Hotel: A Perfect 5-Star Stay in Kunming!
Of all the highlights of my trip to Kunming, the Green Lake Hotel was by far the most pleasant surprise and the most satisfying. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotel choices, and before booking, I debated for a long time. I was especially worried that an older, established hotel might have outdated facilities or be poorly maintained, fearing it would impact my travel experience. However, once I checked in, all my worries and concerns completely vanished – the entire stay exceeded my expectations in the most amazing way.
Even though it's a classic, long-standing state guesthouse, the hotel's facilities are impeccably maintained, and the cleanliness is absolutely flawless. Everywhere was spotless, tidy, and high-quality. Age hasn't brought a sense of decay; instead, it has created an elegant, 'old money' style that is understated yet luxurious, dignified yet comfortable. It completely changed my preconceived notions about older hotels.
The service level certainly lives up to the guesthouse's venerable reputation. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, thoughtful, professional, and courteous. Their attitude was warm and polite, striking the perfect balance – meticulous without being intrusive. This truly showcased the depth and refinement of a high-end hotel, and the experience was absolutely top-notch.
What truly impressed me were the thoughtful details everywhere. From the lobby to the guest rooms, there were beautifully arranged fresh floral displays. In an era where cost-cutting and efficiency are often prioritized, the hotel still maintains such a high standard of aesthetics and sincerity. This commitment and dedication are truly commendable and rare.
The location is simply perfect, the absolute core of Kunming. Stepping out, you're right by the stunning Green Lake, making walks and sightseeing incredibly convenient. There are numerous attractions nearby, making travel and exploration highly efficient. Additionally, the area boasts many unique shops and charming cafes, making dining and browsing easy. It's both a tranquil retreat and full of local life – perfect for sightseeing, leisure, and exploring.
In summary, the Green Lake Hotel is impeccable in every aspect – hardware, service, details, and location. It is undoubtedly the best choice for a trip to Kunming, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Great value for money, and the location is super convenient. It's close to the train station, and right downstairs there's a food street with tons of delicious options. The room was spacious and very clean. Definitely worth staying here!

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy.
The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything.
If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

MMengmengmengThis guesthouse is fantastic, boasting amazing views right at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
From the outside, it looks small and charming, but once you step inside, you'll find it incredibly spacious. The TV is huge, and the air conditioning works perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay overall.
You don't even need to rush out early in the morning to see the snow mountain; the view from downstairs after you wake up is excellent, with virtually no obstructions. The snow-capped peaks look truly magnificent.
The service was outstanding; they helped with luggage and were incredibly responsive to all requests. I loved it!

EeyrechenI really wanted to write a thank you note for Banyan Tree Lijiang.
This trip to Lijiang was specifically for the Banyan Tree. I've been to Lijiang countless times, but this time I just wanted to find a secluded paradise to relax for a few days.
Banyan Tree consistently maintains its high service standards. Upon arrival, someone helped with my luggage and offered a welcome drink. The room service and dining staff were also incredibly professional. Because I was in a hurry the next day, the hotel specifically delivered my meal to my room and also gifted me an afternoon tea by the fire pit and a milk foot soak.
Due to the excellent service at Banyan Tree, I preferred to spend every day and all my money at the hotel, ordering from the hotel's restaurants, getting spa treatments, and even booking their travel photography service.
Many thanks to Banyan Tree for their family-like service. From the front desk to the concierge to room service, everything deserves a perfect score.
VVictoriaG1502The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests, which made the stay feel very comfortable and welcoming.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the cozy ambience and the attention to detail in the amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, and the overall environment felt relaxing and peaceful — perfect for a short getaway.
The facilities were also well-kept, and the dining experience was enjoyable. Everything was presented nicely and the quality met expectations. The location is convenient yet tucked away enough to feel like a quiet retreat from the busy city.
Overall, it was a pleasant and fuss-free stay. I would definitely consider returning and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing hotel experience.

江江景哲For my trip to Lijiang Old Town, I chose to stay at this hotel within the ancient city, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a short walk to the main street of the Old Town, but it's not in the most bustling area, so it was very quiet at night – perfect for a good rest. The courtyard has a typical Naxi architectural style, which is very characteristic of Lijiang and makes for great photos. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, with comfortable bedding and reliable hot water. The owner and staff were all very welcoming and even proactively offered recommendations for sightseeing routes and local food in the Old Town, which was a really thoughtful touch. Enjoying the sun and tea in the courtyard in the morning was incredibly relaxing. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang and will recommend it to my friends.
BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped.
The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.
CCancan33333333On my last night in Lijiang, I finally stayed at Yunman Mushan Snow, and I seriously regret not coming here sooner!
The absolute best part is being able to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your bed! I set an alarm for the morning, pulled back the curtains, and witnessed the 'golden-top-sun' phenomenon – the snow-capped mountain transforming from silvery white to golden. The awe I felt is truly indescribable. The room amenities are also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, a King Koil mattress, and smart home features throughout. It made for an incredibly comfortable stay.
You absolutely must go up to the rooftop viewing platform! There aren't many places in the Old Town where you can see both the panoramic view of the Old Town and the snow mountain simultaneously, and this is one of them. I went up in the afternoon and took a set of photos; with the tiled rooftops and snow mountain in the background, every shot was perfect. I went up again during the 'blue hour' at dusk, and the Old Town lit up was simply stunning.
The location is within the Old Town, but cars can reach the entrance, so you don't have to drag your luggage up steps, which is incredibly considerate. The butler added me on WeChat in advance and helped plan my itinerary, and someone even helped with my luggage. There's also a steam room, a cafe, and a billiard room. After a long day of exploring, a steam session is wonderfully refreshing.
I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang; it's worth it just for that viewing platform!
GGuest UserThis is my first time leaving a detailed review on Trip.com, but after staying three nights, this hotel deserves a half-hour of my dedicated endorsement. Let me break it down:
#One Food & Drink:
1. **Fruit:** You can grab fruit whenever you like for all three meals (to me, 'grab whenever you like' isn't the same as 'unlimited supply' – it offers more freedom). The fruit is fresh and delicious. I ate a year's worth of strawberries and blueberries; I'm almost embarrassed to admit I ate at least two plates of blueberries and 20 strawberries every day... No need to buy fruit outside, it's much tastier than what I found in the ancient town!
2. **Complimentary Hotpot:** The hotpot provided in the evening is very generous; you really don't need to order any additional dishes.
3. **Local Coffee & Freshly Brewed Milk Tea:** You can enjoy complimentary local coffee and freshly brewed milk tea all day. This is hands down the best milk tea I've ever had in my life; I even bought some to take home!
4. **Afternoon Tea Snacks:** The potato chips and beef jerky at afternoon tea are incredibly delicious. And you can ask for them to be brought to your room as a snack anytime you crave them.
5. **Breakfast:** Breakfast is a bit simpler compared to the other meals, but it includes bird's nest and peach gum (these vary daily).
6. **Homemade Wine:** They have homemade wine, one of which contains many traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, cordyceps, and deer antler. After one sip, I was literally bouncing on the balcony for half an hour! :)
#Two Amenities & Accommodation:
The amenities are on par with a five-star hotel, and I slept incredibly comfortably. I could see the snow-capped mountains directly from my bed. At night, after turning off the lights and opening the skylight, there were so many stars and bright moonlight. I haven't seen that in ages...
#Three Service & Hospitality:
The front desk ladies are sweet and genuine, and the gentlemen who sang folk songs for me and helped charge my phone were wonderful. There are also many free activities, which unfortunately we couldn't participate in because we weren't feeling well. When I fell ill, there was a medicine I couldn't find in the city, so one of the gentlemen drove to a pharmacy near the airport to buy it for me. I'm so grateful! Also, after getting ripped off buying mushrooms in the ancient town, the hotel can help you purchase local specialties like coffee and tea and ship them home, preventing me from getting scammed again. *cries*

LLao huAmong the many guesthouses and hotels in Dali, garden-style hotels are rare. However, Muxinbao French Holiday Manor stands out as Dali's unique, meticulously crafted garden hotel. Perched at an elevated position, its flowerbeds, fountains, and tree-lined paths are thoughtfully arranged along the hillside, creating a sense of grandeur and order. It seamlessly blends artificial artistry with natural beauty: meticulously trimmed hedges, patterned flowerbeds, and tiered pathways showcase a highly refined aesthetic, while dynamic water features like canals and fountains add vitality and a lively feel.
The proprietress, influenced by French and Italian culture, has meticulously crafted artistic scenes throughout the garden. Incorporating sculptures, miniature architecture, and themed flower displays, she evokes a picturesque ambiance. Drawing inspiration from Impressionistic colors and light effects, a stroll through the garden becomes an immersive artistic experience. Numerous art ornaments enhance the multi-dimensional expression of a romantic atmosphere. By integrating everyday scenes like coffee nooks, Western dining, and a misty garden, and skillfully leveraging the backdrop of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, the manor conveys a sense of relaxation and poetic beauty amidst interwoven seas of flowers and clouds, achieving a spiritual sanctuary that feels ”half in the clouds, half on a cliff.”
The architecture of this French holiday garden exudes romance at every turn, as if transporting you into a beautiful dream, where you experience endless tenderness and beauty. Furthermore, the French-style guest rooms blend romance and elegance, offering a unique sense of comfort and coziness, akin to experiencing a dreamlike lifestyle. The entire manor, designed in a French style, expertly uses elegant colors and luxurious decorations to create a distinctive romantic atmosphere that makes you want to linger...
