Maxmilian Lifestyle Resort

Hotel is situated next to Castle Loučeň. In the castle area you can find the park with many labyrinths and mazes, so it is great place for children. Our stay was marvellous, we liked the hotel building with lovely interiors, wellness with the swimming pool and very good restaurant, We had great local food ”Čápy s mákem” in the restaurant and it was so tasty that we came back to restaurant once more in the same day :)
Hotel Dvur Hoffmeister

Had a wonderful weekend stay with family. We enjoyed the lovely peaceful setting close to Prague. The food was fabulous from the simple but very tasty continental breakfasts with home made breads and yoghurt, to the exquisite meals prepared for lunch and dinner. We were told the fascinating story of Adolf Hoffmeister by his granddaughter, he had produced most of the art on display in Dvur Hoffmeister. There is an interesting biography about his life and art in the reception. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. We stayed in Bedroom 5 above the stables. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and included a spa bath, just what is needed after walking around Prague for a day. We hope to return again.

I was there for two nites. The checkin was easy, a local tax could be directly with card or cash. There is a three storey high hall for breaky and sitting and the rooms are on galeries a side the hall. Firstly, I was afraid about noise in the nite, but closing the door between sleeping room and entrance it was totally silent! The bed was good, the room spacious, the same with the bath room. Awardrobe, chairs and a desk, flat screen hot water stuff, all functionable (although some knobs at the drawers missed) and clean. Breaky was in good variety, everything I need was available, fried egg, ham, coffee, milk and cereals, yoghurt and so forth... Only disadvantage was the bath tube, also used for shower and having a high entrance... Anyway, everything worked fine, next time again!

Ausgezeichnetes Business-Hotel in ruhiger, stadtnaher Lage.
Hotel Kreta

this is not a real hotel, but a bar offering rooms located in a not very attractive suburb but only 10 minutes walking fom central kutna hora, they offer free carpark 50 metres away from the property there is not a reception, check in is performed at the bar the room had sufficient size, the bathroom was big but the shower area was extremely and unnecessarily small, the bed was acceptable, there was a minibar with a very basic selection, therewas not a safety box, there was wardrobe, the courtains were very slim and there was too much light in the room as from sunrise, there was a kettle with two tea bags only (no instant coffee). the air conditioned worked well. thefree wifi had some interruptions. a set of slippers were inlcuded in the room price, however the plastic was not sealed, so i did not use it. theflat tv was rather small but had an acceptable tv stations choice in different languages but the room was quite dirty. we needed the toilet to be cleant after our arrival and there was a lot of dust breakfast included was a very basic continental buffet, some food did not seem to have its natural colour and the tables were dirty and sticky the staff hardly spoke english, but did their efforts to understand us dogs are accepted for 4 euros per day check out time is 11 am, but for 8 euros extra they allowed a noon check out for its price, this property would be a decent place to sleep if was clean given the cleanliness standards i witnessed, i cannot recommend it

Hotel Grand Litava Beroun

Stayed 6 nights on holiday Large hotel in Beroun just outside the city walls, 10 minutes walk to the train station which takes you to Prague Main station (Praha hln) in 40 minutes-1 hour. Was very pleased with the room size and height, but our room was located towards rather tall buildings for Beroun and a Road in the middle which caused that the traffic noise bounced off the buildings making it quite noisy in the room with open window. The room had a slim shape with few Windows and only one of Them could open. It was very hot in the room even though the temperatures had cooled off, so we Daily had to make the choice between a hot(ter) room or noise from open Windows that bordhered us in our sleep. If you want to stay at this hotel make sure to ask for a room toward the other side, the city walls! And if you come to Beroun in the summer you Might want to heavily consider getting a hotel with aircondition! Temperatures Can easily be 35 degrees celsius. Breakfast was okay but nothing out of the ordinary for a 4 star hotel. Good selection of local cakes/crossaints but only hot milk? The juices were diluted and I really did not like the Apple and orange juice. Juice seemed expensive in Czech so thats probably why they could not serve fresh juice. One of our bedlight switches did not work upon arrival, this was fixed between 48 and 72 hours into our stay, which seemes quite late. The shower was in a bathtub, so you had to stand up in the bathtub if you wished to take a standing shower. Not very handicapped or elderly friendly! We were given out a mat upon wish, as I was afraid my Old man would trip. The mat however was not with suction cups, so it was not much of a help. As for the hotel otherwise the stay was very cheap, the staff was friendly and apart from the noise from the outside the hotel was quiet and the wifi worked very well in our third floor room. If you choose this hotel make sure to ask for a room towards the city walls, but you Might consider staying at a smaller hotel inside the city walls which has more charm and is quieter.
