I had a really nice stay at this hotel and honestly, the highlight has to be the view. It’s absolutely stunning—you get a clear look over a charming little town, all surrounded by huge, dramatic mountains, which makes the whole place feel peaceful and almost postcard-perfect. Waking up to that scenery each day was definitely something special and added a lot to the overall experience.
The service desk staff were consistently friendly and polite, which made check-in and any interactions smooth and pleasant. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary sparkling and still water provided—it’s a small detail, but it does make you feel a bit more taken care of. The room itself was comfortable and had some really nice features, especially the bathtub with a built-in jacuzzi, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day.
There were a few minor downsides, like the heaters not working, but surprisingly it never felt too cold at night, so it didn’t really affect our comfort. The safe also wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. That said, these were relatively small issues compared to the overall experience. Between the incredible views, comfortable room, and friendly service, it was still a very enjoyable and memorable stay.
The century-old building is renovated, with a classical appearance and modern design. The location is excellent, walking distance to the train station and the old town. The rooms are exquisite, some with terraces, and the accessories are high-end. Attentive service, rich breakfast and distinctive. A unique experience with a perfect balance of history and comfort.
I loved my stay. The room was nice, it was just a shame that the edge of the bed had tears for aesthetic reasons. The staff is very welcoming and explains the services well. I had a treatment, a signature massage that the hotel offers. It was well done and the room was very calming. On arrival, you are offered a small free welcome bag. And if you don't want the room to be cleaned every day, they give you a little surprise in the morning on the door handle, which I really appreciated.
I will recommend this hotel to those around me, because I am satisfied with it.
Everything was very good. We stayed one night; for more, a little more storage space would have been nice.
We drove around a bit to get there; the GPS didn't give us directions to the parking lot.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very well served.
Well, well maintained hotel.
Friendly service.
Breakfast was good, but it wasn't super.
I'd probably expect this much better.
No mirror egg, one kind of cheese which wasn't good yet, very rough with a stick.
The hotel is located in a small town near Strasbourg, about a half-hour drive from the city center. Because it was during the Thanksgiving Christmas market, the hotel price doubled. However, at the usual price, I think the hotel's environment and service would be acceptable. My room had a full set of kitchenware, so I could cook my own meals, making it a good choice for family trips. There are also old historical buildings and museums nearby, which are worth visiting if you have time.
Renoved hotel with different taste and modernity from other budget ibis. Petit dej petit room. However, by booking via trip you can not access the automatic boundary in case of late arrival. Resa unrecognised because unpaid stay taxes prevent validation.. fortunately ibis next to have been able to validate our reservation by paying her this stay tax to unlock. Thank you for taking account of the other travel and find a solution with hotel group.

CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the train station. It is within walking distance. The surrounding facilities are perfect. There are many restaurants. The environment is clean and the hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. All aspects are quite good.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location, cleanliness, and wonderful breakfast made us feel every moment how good a choice we had made. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, the pleasant atmosphere in the courtyard, the parquet flooring instead of carpet in the rooms, the delicious food, and the fact that it provided all the comfort and quality expected of a holiday, all made me choose the same hotel again. I hope you also leave the hotel feeling peaceful and happy like we did 💯
李李李圓園The location is good, just across the bridge is the Notre Dame Cathedral. However, if you drive by yourself, only licensed vehicles can enter the area near the hotel.
It is renovated on a historical building. The exposed wooden building is very unique and the experience is good. Although there is no elevator, there are staff who take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs.
Street parking in Strasbourg is very expensive, 3.5 euros an hour; hotel parking lot 30 euros a day; the hotel introduced a nearby parking lot, parking for about 16 hours, 16 euros.
AAnonymous UserHonestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant.
Pros:
Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype.
Average service from teenager staffs.

LLer WeiThe lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She let us check in early andalso gave us suggestions to explore the town. Room was clean and comfortable, just nice for the two of us.
AAmerica7146Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience.
The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression.
That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing.
We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned.
Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating.
In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.
AAnonymous UserGreat location between the train station and the Christmas market (main town). The morning-shift staff made me feel a little uncomfortable, they didn’t allow me to bring my small luggage into the breakfast room which I understood, but afterward two men (different time/room) were allowed to bring their checked luggage and sat right next to me that made me wonder why.. But despite that, the stay was really good
SSuantouJEWELIn Petite France, despite being surrounded by tourists, the noise level was surprisingly low, making for a very comfortable stay.
Facilities: The hotel has four floors; the elevator takes you to the third floor, and staff helped with luggage to the fourth floor. Someone also offered assistance when checking out by phone. The room's decor shows signs of age, with some rotten wood, but efforts were made to preserve it. The view from the window was beautiful. There's a spa and facial service on the first floor. Each room has one hour of central shower and sauna time per day, but it's not separated for men and women; bringing a swimsuit is recommended.
Cleanliness: Showers and toilets are separate and very clean.
Environment: The interior is quiet and comfortable, and the surrounding architecture creates a sense of tranquility.
Service: Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff was very welcoming.
P.S. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was delicious. Eggs are available, and coffee and tea are also included.
