I was here for the first time a month ago. I enjoyed my stay here so I came back a month later. I booked for a single room but when I arrived the hotel upgraded it to a double room. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful. I enjoyed using the shower. It was a good shower with the right amount of pressure. I used this hotel to visit the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and is in a good location. The staff are very nice.

Booked 2 nights, fantastic friendly front of house staff. Manager was welcoming and knowledgeable on local dry cleaning and local parking. Room was spacious and clean with a balcony upgrade overlooking the gardens and sea view. Briefly saw the in-house entertainment and was being enjoyed by the people there. We snuck off to the lounge for a couple of drinks and a few bar games and was comfortable and peaceful. Entertainment guide print out was a lovely touch. Only criticism would be no plugs by the bed for chargers but charging across the room was no problem and maybe a menu for dining in the room but nit picking tbh. Will be visiting again later in the year and will 100% look to book here again. I'd recommend

I had the pleasure of staying here in October 2020. John and Christine did everything possible to keep us all safe from Covid but still maintained a house party atmosphere. The rooms may not be modern but they are spotlessly clean and the food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Our tutor was Sharon Hurst who was fun and inspiring and ensured everyone had a great time. I will definitely visit again

No Hot water to shower and wash The door to the shower room was stuck No toilet paper holder The pillows were not of good quality flat and not supportive There was a fan in the room however it was not powerful and couldn’t feel any cool air even close up The reception and bar staff were amazing Slow in topping up breakfast buffet Would like to be compensated for not having hot water

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Bournemouth with my wife and our two children. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, and our room was spacious enough for our family. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices for both adults and children. The location was perfect, making it easy to enjoy Bournemouth and the beach. A very special thank you to the Operations Manager, who was incredibly supportive, kind, and professional throughout our stay. We would also like to thank the entire Front Office team for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. They truly made our family feel valued and cared for. We had a fantastic experience and would happily return. Highly recommended!

I need to give a huge shout out to every reception staff member as every single one has been incredibly kind and friendly as soon as we entered the building! When asking questions, every single staff member gave a detailed answer to the point where I wouldn't even have to ask again or ask any further questions! Our room didn't have any AC and our room was very warm even with a fan provided. The bathroom.door was very squeaky too and you had to give quite a nudge when trying to close it or open it. But despite these, the staff member made up for it, we both enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Bournemouth!

The hotel is a bit old, domestic three-star level, but still clean and tidy. very quiet. It is about 100 to 200 meters away from the sea, which is very close, but it needs to go down a small slope of about 50 meters. The weather in July is still a bit cold, and it is impossible to go to the sea. The city is very small, turn right out of the hotel for about 1 kilometer and you will see the landmark of the Ferris wheel. It is not far to go to Old harry rocks and Durdle door within half an hour and 1 hour.

Room was ok, couldn’t fault it, there was an inroom kitchen with microwave, fridge freezer, sink, plates cups cutlery, for the price it’s actually decent value, breakfast available, it’s not Dubai, it’s bournemouth, not far off the beach like a 10 min walk. Room was very spacious, digital tv, ac works (very cold under the correct settings), car was parked right outside my room, smoking outside the room, it was actually a decent place to stay for £100, if you want posh standard, go pay £300 for h!ltons. Bed was comfy as my misses had to drag me out for breakfast. Pool was under construction so hopefully that gets sorted soon

Double sea view room with balcony. Spacious bedroom with nice seating area. Clean and in good decorative order. Comfy bed, quality linen. Wonderful, original metal-framed window and French door opening out onto huge balcony. Unfortunately, the sea view tuned out to be when looking left from the end of the balcony and not from the actual bedroom. Kettle needed descaling. Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint. Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful! Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room … The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.

This was our second visit to this hotel, we have unfortunately had the same experience twice. The hotel itself is lovely with great facilities. Rooms are lovely, Beds are huge and extremely comfy. Fluffy, luxury towels. The Pool area and pool are lovely, feel like you are abroad on a hot day. Although it is a fight for a Sun lounger. However it’s completely let down by the staff. The bar staffs attitude was appalling, it was an inconvenience for them to get our drinks each time. We had a Roast dinner at Old Harry Rocks - staff were much better in there and v accommodating, although I do believe this this a separate company to the hotel and it shows. Beef was tough in parts but still nice. Pork was lovely. On booking, breakfast is charged at £22 at but in the hotel it’s £15 so don’t fall into that trap. The staff had no idea what they were doing. They first couldn’t get our drinks order right, then they messed up our simple breakfast order. Some of us nearly finishing our breakfast before others even got their meal. The breakfast itself was very small, we were also only given half a mushroom?? For £22/£15 I would at least expect to have a whole Mushroom… They then didn’t know how to use the card machine..  Before we left we used the Spa, small but nice. Sauna was closed & pool was freezing. Hot Tub also wasn’t very warm.  Overall it was not a great experience, we will not be returning. To pay £260 minimum for a room for extremely poor service is criminal.
