The accommodation was not only comfortable but also tastefully designed, creating a relaxing and inviting environment. The food was an absolute highlight of my visit. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing a fusion of flavors and presentation that exceeded expectations. The on-site restaurant not only offered a diverse menu but also accommodated dietary preferences with creativity and flair. Stayed here for the weekend what a lovely place the staff are very welcoming and friendly.We stayed in the lodge but I must stress this is an annexe which is a series of self contained flat has spectacular views we stayed on the ground floor you have a decked area to sit on and relax.Parking is just past the entrance to the chateau as it is very tight at reception so would recommend parking there.We had the meal in the restaurant good choice and fixed price for 3 courses the food was really good.You can explore this lovely chateau only thing I found difficult was finding your way around something like a leaflet showing the different areas the bar restaurant etc. All in all a lovely break breakfast is lovely and only a short walk from your lodge.

Third time we have stayed at this hotel. Had a fab room on each visit, however, this time in the annexe. Again, lovely clean,comfortable room (38), very spacious. Hotel has it's own bar (open all day, to non-residents too). Great breakfast. Great location. Convenient for access to Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn, Valley and of course Holyhead (for the ferries to Ireland). Less than half hour walk to/from Y Dyffryn/Valley station. Also on bus route connecting Holyhead and Llangefni (for Bangor). Looking forward to our next trip there.

We chose the location as we visited the island several years ago on our last trip to wales, we only had 1/2 day there and wanted to spend more time exploring the area. Bishopsgate house hotel ticked all the boxes on paper and didn't disappoint us. We received a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in room 4 at the top of the this beautiful old town house, under a multi sloaping roof which gave the space a quirky but cosy feel. We even got a view over the meni straight to Snowdonia from our little window. Due to the available roof space the sink was in the room rather than the ensuite (hubby was a little freaked out by this to start with - but it wasn't a problem) there was plenty of hot water for showers. The bed was comfy and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The WiFi was good which helped us plan our days and we were able to locate some amazing ancient sighs to visit, and plan a couple of days out off the island. As we travelled by car, parking is a requirement for us, normally we end up staying further inland to secure accomodation with carparking. The car park is quite tight but can accommodate guests as long as everyone is considerate and parks well. We always managed to get into a space but it often took a lot of going back an forth to get the car into and out of the space. Breakfast was amazing, and set us up for a day of exploring. We ate in the restaurant 1 evening and the food was amazing! The location was great a a good base for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stopped here while on a fishing trip. We have used this hotel on several occasions in the past. The overall stay this year was considerably better. In particular the staff were particularly welcoming and friendly which was not the case last time. The food is excellent and well priced. The cost to stay has gone up quite a bit but I guess that's just a sign of the times. We'll definitely return.

We were fortunate to get a last minute booking for one night in a superior room, overlooking the Menai Straits. The room was magnificent and attention to detail was superb. A spacious balcony was an unexpected bonus. A fantastic breakfast was included, but we also ate in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival. Service was excellent on both occasions as was the quality of the food. I can thoroughly recommend this exceptional small hotel and restaurant.
