Great privacy and safety with bed curtains. It's relatively quiet; the room has good soundproofing and convenient transportation. The hygiene could use a bit of improvement, as the pillowcase was a little dirty. Luckily, I brought my own. Charging devices on the top bunk can be a bit inconvenient. They offer luggage storage after check-out. The front desk lady was very friendly and always served with a smile. There's a small bar downstairs where you can grab a drink and relax.

This was my second visit to this hotel. Maison Bistro is a lovely establishment. It is cute and stylish. The location is perfect to wander on foot in the Buda Castle district. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and various options à la carte were available too. We also enjoyed a nice diner menu that was offered for an affordable price to onboard guests. The meal was well presented and every dish very yummy. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveller who is looking forward to have a special experience in Budapest.

Hotel was OK. I booked bigger room and was nice. Breakfast also OK. I read some negative reviews and is true, the bathroom need update. Also environment in hotel have some limits, eq. dirty elevator. Many info what is prohibited is doing unfriendly feeling. Eq. they gave me sign paper, where was indicated ”food from restaurant is prohibited to bring to the room - if explored, will be fined by 8 EUR”. Later I understand - the meaning was food from breakfast, but statement like that can make misunderstanding - could be better explained. Generally I liked hotel, also was walkable to city center.

I had previously emailed them requesting a room with a good view, and indeed, the hotel assigned me a high-floor room directly facing the Parliament building. The transportation is very convenient; there's a taxi stand right outside, and the metro station is only a few hundred meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. However, European hotels are generally quite small. If you don't have high expectations, it's certainly acceptable, though the hygiene was a bit subpar – there was a spider that seemed to have been living there for quite some time.

The hotel is conveniently located to major tourist attractions. Take 100E from airport to Deak Ferenc Ter & a 11min walk to hotel. Nearest train station is just less than 5 mins walk to hotel. There are many bus and tram routes just less than 5mins walk around the hotel. We could do day walks around the district and admire the architectural buildings. The hotel offers decent complimentary breakfast to all guests which is so convenient. St Stephen’s Basilica is just less than 8mins walk from the hotel. The advent markets started when we arrived. There are also several cafes and restaurants around. The service desks staff are very helpful and friendly. My check-in and checkout was a breeze. We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right on the Buda side, directly beneath Fisherman's Bastion. We checked in during the evening and could immediately walk to Fisherman's Bastion from the back of the hotel. The Chain Bridge is also just a short downhill walk away. The breakfast spread was very generous, offering a wide variety of cheeses, sausages, and fruits. The front desk staff spoke excellent English. The hotel itself is small but charming. The only minor issue was that the 'double bed' was actually two single beds pushed together, which wasn't ideal for couples wanting to sleep close. Downstairs, you'll find several traditional Portuguese restaurants with reasonable prices.

This is a really great hotel. The facilities have a wonderful sense of history, and it's very clean. It's a shame I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

While the hotel is located slightly outside the city center, it is conveniently situated directly on a metro line, with only 3–4 stops to the city center, which takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Regarding airport access: for those traveling light (e.g., with a trolley suitcase), public transportation is a convenient option, with a direct bus to the city center and then metro, total travel time around 50 minutes. For those with heavier luggage, it is recommended to use a taxi for comfort and convenience. The hotel is also next to a large shopping mall and several supermarkets and casual dining options, although higher-quality restaurants are found in the city center. The hotel rooms are adequate and acceptable, with generally fair cleanliness. The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center with a wide variety of machines, allowing for a full-body workout. Additionally, the hotel has a pleasant swimming pool and a very professional and well-heated sauna, which enhances the overall wellness experience. The presence of water dispensers both in the gym and near the sauna is highly appreciated and essential for guest safety, helping to prevent dehydration.

The hotel is right on the Buda fisherman bastion the best location,a little pricey. Disappointed due to no air conditioning hotel said they put off air conditioning during this season Starting October. Most of Europe does this. They instructed us to just open windows,if a person has respiratory issues it would affect their breathing. The temperature of the room is not consistent near the window is cold away from the window is hot, Otherwise it is a good place to stay.
