We had a stunning 5 Star experience hosting a family wedding at Fairfield Marriott Dehradun in November 2024. The location and views are awesome, staff is super-helpful, food is absolutely delicious and wholesome ! The speed of attending to guests is very fast, attention to details and cleanliness is amazing. We very strongly recommend this property. The staff listens well to guests, work silently towards guest-delight, and show pride and ownership in their work. We were specially impressed with service provided by Vivek Rawat (Marketing), Azad (Bell Desk), Pawan (Pano Restaurant), Mukul (Pano restaurant), Kundan (Food & Beverage), Nitesh (Housekeeping), Sparsh (Front Office & Room Allocations), Ashish Pal (Front Office Head), Gurung Ji (Security), Pushkar Ji (Head Chef), and many others. We had a zero issue event. Our experience was far, far superior to any of our expectations. Truly lived up to the reputation of a Marriott.

Night buffet was very bad with less variety of food and starters . Only 6 7 items are present in the dinner. Otherwise in other hotels are various variety of food and drinks are present there is around 25 to 30 items. I speak with hotel manager they also declined my request for food variety with i am paying for food

As a solo traveller, I found the property and host very safe and supportive. My stay was for about a week - I visited nearby temples like Ghorakhal mandir and Kainchi Dham, lovely cafes and exotic offbeat places nearby Nainital with the cab facility provided by the hosts. Coming to the amenities, everything was well versed in my room. The rooms are large and spacious with attached washroom and balcony. I especially loved the hygiene and cleanliness, which Im very particular about as a female. The food was also homely and delicious and didnt feel like hotelish at all. Overall, my stay was worth the price and Im super satisfied. Would definitely come again and recommend the place to all. Ps: This is a photo taken from my room window at the time of snowfall :)

The stay, restaurant Service, food and the views are excellent. The Service of Mr Lalit and Mr Manoj Bisht were extra good . Suggest to have more spread in Breakfast and Dinner options. There should be options for room upgrade in the Premier rooms. The local authentic food e.g. Pahari Shikaar were exceptionally nice.

Before booking, I saw a lot of people saying that the food here was not good, and I was very nervous. When I ate the breakfast buffet, I found it was okay, but there were not many varieties, but the quality was okay. It is the facilities to complain. There is no separate compartment for the toilet and shower. It was understandable that the design was not considered at that time. But what is incomprehensible is, can't we add a shower curtain? After taking a bath, the bathroom was splashed and messed up. If you want to use the toilet or brush your teeth later, sorry, you have to get in.

The hotel is just opposite to the Dehradun Railway Station. Some part of it is still under construction. But, from stay perspective, it is ready. We visited and stayed here on our way to a Himalayan Trek. The overall experience was good. The check-in was pretty smooth. Being a new hotel, everything appears and feels new. The room was good with bright colors. Room size was decent. It had a small balcony. The bathroom was neat & clean. The bedding was of good quality. The room had all required amenities. We were family of 3 and hence required additional bed. It was provided immediately on request. The portable bed was also of good quality. The hotel has a small restaurant as well. However, it was priced on a bit higher side. The food items we requested had different portions and when we enquired about it, they did not bother to check and correct it. The food taste was good though. Overall, it's a nice little hotel good for short stay near the railway station.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the futur

the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff. Our room had all of the conveniences We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit.

Basically receptionist female was really good. She put full effort to make us make comfortable. Food was good. The only point i like to highlight that room bedding sheets and the sofa cover was not perfectly clean.

Visited Taj Corbett. We had booked 2 rooms and had an upgrade in 1 room to a beautiful suite. Our bone of contention with our stay was the handling of the safari which we had booked through the hotel. On our second safari there was a road block due to an encounter between a tiger and a lady. Due to this we didn’t end up going for the safari. At the reception we asked to speak to the GM to seek some form of reimbursement. We were completely ignored and made to wait at the reception. We finally went out and found the GM ourselves and after much discussion he informed he will check and update. Once again there was no response or feedback on our request. This seems strange that a senior most person at Taj does not engage with their customer. We were not seeking a full refund but some kind of acknowledgment from their end that due to no fault of ours we had to forfeit our entire safari. The view at the Kosi river was stunning. Putting the above disappointment aside we still had a fairly good time. We had all our meals at the property. We were well looked after by Pushkar, Priyanka, Sony and Lekshmi. They truly are gems and are working very hard to look after their guests. My wife used the Spa and she found it satisfactory. Having stayed at their premium properties like Umaid Bhawan our expectations are always high when we stay at Taj and on this note we were slightly disappointed with our stay at Taj Corbett.

I am typically wary of flowery coverage of Hotels that are featured in Travel magazines, as they are more driven and fueled by the special treatments that the authors got, leading them to celebrate the hotel more than it deserves to be. This was one such case! Both Outlook traveller and Travel + Leisure had celebrated this way more than it deserves. But still it had its highlights. I would have given 3 stars, but raising it upto 4 stars only because of the lovely setting, the sweet and hardworking staff, and the quality of Food etc. Frankly speaking, I am not a big fan of the label ‘Hidden gem’. But this boutique beauty - that is stunningly situated on a clifftop against a striking backdrop of hills and terrace fields - certainly deserves that title! You can get treated to panoramic views of the Kumaon Hills leading to the magnificent Himalayas right from your Balcony! Unfortunately, during our stay the weather fairy wasn't on our side. The imposing peaks of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, Trishul were teasingly playing Peekaboo with us all day long - just like Mt Fuji did with us in Japan, or Mt.Rainier used to do in Seattle! Nonetheless, the views were still stunning enough and this was one of the closest encounters with the hills we had been blessed with in the recent past! LOCATION: Stunning location on a Clifftop and just 80 minutes drive from Bhimtal. DINE + DRINK: They dont have a BAR as advertised, and the restaurant could certainly be better decorated or setup. HOwever the food was to die for! THe Chef whipped up some wicked meals for us. The Kumaoni Thali in the night got us high on food. And the breakfast was divine - Piping hot Masala Maggi and Puffed up Pooris under the winter sun accompanied by flavorful Masala Chai!! ROOM: We stayed in 306, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Spectacular views of the Kumaon Hills and Himalayas ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: No A/C as the nature did a great job of setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: OK Justa cosmetics. Bring your own FACILITIES: No Gym on site. And the Pool was closed due to Covid. So DONT BELIEVE THE GLAMOROUS pics you see on these travel magazines and expect a fun time in the Pool. They do have a Spa on site though, though the quality and experience of the staff looked questionable SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to DILIP KUMAR, DINESH, and GAJENDAR at the restaurant. And RAMESH who attended to our special requests. They can surely do better with the FRONT OFFICE staff who certainly needed a lot of training and coaching! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wifi, but VERY POOR CONNECTIVITY and severe issues and be warned that if you plan to do some work stuff or call, it will be a NIGHTMARE! The stay was lovely, loved the breakfast which was included. The place was clean and rooms was extremely clean as this is a brand new property. We loved the contemporary design. L as it has scenic views from every corner. Everything looked really new when we were there. This hotel is located little far from mall road but they provide complimentary drop sometime but the location is so peaceful that you will not regret being far away from mall road.

one of the finest properties you can find in hills. location is absolutely perfect away from maddening mall road crowd but also not too far, just few minutes away. staff is very courteous and helpful. they went out of the way to help my child who suffered from travel sickness. room was recently renovated and easily met 4* standards. property is undergoing renovation so hopefully it will be more better in upcoming months. food options are limited but good & fresh, fish/mutton were very tasty, items are reasonably priced. each staff is very polite & humble. property is well maintained & sits atop a pvt hill. property approach is easy & not too steep, easily ***ageable with any car type.
