If you need a place to stay one night on the round trip of Iceland, from Akureyri back to Reykjavik, Laugarbakki is the choice. Hotel choices are limited. This one is probably a reasonable choice. Compared with other hotels of similar quality in other towns, this one is relatively expensive. The breakfast lacks choices, too.
But the staff is good, as I lost a remote control of my selfie and found by the staff, lovely.

The appearance of the hotel from the outset is a bit battered. The room and service therein are very good and the food served in dinner is gorgeous. The scenery outside when looking from the window of the room is spectacular. It is a good stay at such hotel

The beach is within walking distance, making for a pleasant after-dinner stroll. Its convenient location makes it an ideal base for exploring the town and coast.

The historical hotel in Saudarkrokur is a beautiful discovery.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre.
