Close to Termini and bus stops so it’s convenient however it’s a little bit far from famous locations so I recommend you say the first day and the last day of your trip, overall service was really good and I liked the vibe of the place, it had a lot of vintage pieces and the lobby is really beautiful

An excellent choice if you’re planning a trip to Rome. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini and about 5 minutes from Repubblica metro station. Trams and several bus lines run nearby, making it easy to get around. Both the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, as well as many of Rome’s other popular attractions, are about a 15-20 minute walk away. The hotel is quite large, and the room we chose was very spacious and spotless, with daily housekeeping. It included everything we needed: a hairdryer, shampoo, and various toiletries (such as a shower cap and slippers). The room also had a desk, a safe, a television, a comfortable armchair, and a fairly large wardrobe. There was also a minibar and a kettle, with complimentary coffee sachets provided daily. The staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The hotel also offers free luggage storage, which is very convenient if you arrive before check-in time or if your flight departs late in the evening. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The room is tidy and nice, the bathroom is clean, there is a large balcony, and the surrounding is quiet. There is a grocery store downstairs that is open until late, and there is a Carrefour a few hundred meters away. It is very close to the subway station. A bottle of water is given, and other things are charged. The only drawback is that the room is small, and the price is OK in Rome in summer

Absolutely loved it!!!!!! Location: It's a 10-minute walk from the station, which is perfectly acceptable even with a large suitcase. Not too strenuous. Service: Incredibly friendly. They let us check in early, which we really appreciated! 🙏 Room: Super beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the hairdryer was excellent! The room and lobby have quite different decor styles, which is unique and very pretty! Btw, if you opt out of housekeeping, the hotel gives you drink vouchers you can redeem! 👍🏻 Hope to stay here again someday. Thank you, Ruby Giulia Hotel, for giving us such a wonderful Roman holiday! 🤍🩷❤️

The front desk staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff there were also very pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious, and the location was super convenient. The only downside was that the shower faucets and countertop looked a bit old and worn.

Me ha gustado bastante el hotel porque ha estado muy bien el servicio y las instalaciones aunque la ubicación es un poco mala porque tiene las paradas del transporte a más 15 min andando. Aun asi mi experiencia en el hotel la califico como buena.

This hotel is close to Termini Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. **Accessibility:** It's a 6-minute walk from the station, making it easy to get to the Vatican and Colosseum. **Service:** The staff were friendly, but I had booked a twin room and was initially given a double. I had to go to the front desk to get it changed. **Cleanliness:** Everything was satisfactory, including the bed sheets. **Facilities:** The room itself was decent, but the shower stall was too small, making it difficult to move around. Also, the showerhead was facing the wrong direction.

The location is excellent, right in front of the subway exit, and there's a bus stop directly outside (so people tend to gather there). There's a supermarket next door, and most attractions are within walking distance (though it's quite tiring, so cycling is more convenient). It's very easy to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum by subway. The front desk service was fantastic – warm and proactive. Even before checking in early in the morning, they invited us to slow down with a coffee (the best cappuccino I had in Rome!). We left early most days and didn't get to properly sit down for breakfast. On our check-out day, it was also too early for breakfast, but they still provided us with coffee and bread. Luggage storage was very convenient. The room wasn't large, and the air conditioning was just okay. Slippers were provided. The window overlooked an attraction, so it was a bit sunny. There's a cinema next door, which could occasionally be noisy at night, but the door insulation was good, so I couldn't hear any corridor sounds. The shower was incredibly powerful! The water pressure was strong and very comfortable!!! This was absolutely perfect!

A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, the room is comfortable. A great big bed. The room we had was without a window but with our own outlet to the patio where there was a table with chairs and you could smoke. The only glass wall of this patio went out into the hotel hall. We stayed for one night, it didn't embarrass us. We are very glad that we managed to sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows. It was our third hotel in Rome, there is something to compare. Breakfast was better. But the wonderful cook kindly cooked our eggs than saved the situation.

Fantastic hotel. They gave us a free upgrade and honestly the room was lovely. The location is perfect with lots of shops and restaurants around 2 minute walk and it’s near a lot of the tourist attractions too. The hotel was very clean and the room service was fast with any response. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone considering rome, it was our first trip and the hotel was amazing. Clean, reasonably priced and the location was perfect.

GGuest UserThe Unbeatable Gateway: Why This Hotel is My New Travel Holy Grail Just stumbled upon a hotel so perfectly positioned, it feels like discovering a secret cheat code for seamless travel. Forget everything you know about compromise – this place delivers *everything* without the premium price tag. Its location isn't just good; it’s **utterly transformative** for any traveler, especially weary souls like me arriving from long-haul flights. **The Transport Trifecta: Your Effortless Escape Hatch** Stepping out the lobby door feels like holding a master key to the city. Directly downstairs? **Airport buses**! No frantic taxi hunts or confusing shuttle transfers. After a 14-hour journey, seeing that bus stop literally steps away, offering a smooth, affordable ride back to the terminals, was pure bliss. It’s the kind of stress-eraser you only appreciate after dragging luggage across multiple blocks elsewhere. But it gets better. A stone's throw away lies the **central train station**. Not some distant suburban outpost, but the genuine hub connecting you to *every* district, landmark, and hidden gem. Regional day trips? Easy. Exploring quirky neighborhoods? Done. Late-night returns? No problem. The station's comprehensive network meant I could spontaneously chase a sunset view across town or visit a famed museum district without a single transport worry. Freedom, truly unlocked. **The Heartbeat of the City: Steps, Not Strides** Here’s the magic dust: **walkability**. Forget ”close to the center” meaning a 20-minute trek or an expensive Uber. The vibrant city core – pulsating with main squares, iconic cafes, bustling markets, and those irresistible little boutiques – is a mere **10-15 minute stroll** away. I timed it! Wandering home through charming, illuminated streets after dinner, gelato in hand, soaking in the atmosphere without racing for transport… that’s the authentic travel experience we crave. You’re *in* the city, not just near it. **Beyond Logistics: The Pulse of Convenience** The immediate neighborhood isn’t just a transit zone; it’s alive! Need a midnight snack? Corner store open late. Craving authentic local breakfast? Charming bakery two doors down. Forgot your adaptor? Electronics shop around the corner. Pharmacies, casual eateries, coffee spots – it’s all there, woven into the fabric outside your door, making daily needs effortless and adding genuine local flavor. **The Jaw-Dropper: Value That Feels Like a Steal** Given this prime location and unparalleled connectivity, you’d expect a premium price, right? Prepare for a shock. The rates are **remarkably affordable**. It’s not just ”budget-friendly”; it’s **outrageous value**. I kept double-checking, convinced there must be a catch. Clean, comfortable room, essential amenities, friendly staff, *and* this location? For this price? It feels less like paying for a hotel and more like investing in a seamless, enriching travel experience. **The Verdict: Don't Hesitate, Just Book** Honestly? This hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's the ultimate **strategic basecamp** that elevates your entire trip. The unbeatable combo of instant airport access, total city-wide rail connectivity, effortless walkability to the core, vibrant local amenities, *and* genuine affordability is simply unmatched. It removes friction, saves precious time and money, and lets you focus purely on experiencing the destination. After raving about it to fellow travelers at breakfast, I watched them immediately pull out their phones to check availability. It’s that obvious. This isn't just *a* good option; **it’s the smartest choice you can make**. Book it before everyone else discovers this golden spot – you’ll thank yourself from the moment you step off the plane until your final, effortless journey back to the airport. An absolute traveler's triumph!

FFawad Traveller UKFrom the moment we arrived at Fabulous Village in Rome, we were genuinely impressed. As soon as you enter the property, you are welcomed by extremely professional, respectful, and friendly security staff. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the reception team was very helpful. They took the time to explain all the facilities available and even shared how magical and dream-like the place becomes during the summer months which honestly made us want to come back again! We were assigned House **147**, and I must say, it completely exceeded our expectations. For the very reasonable and justified price we paid, what we got was unbelievable. The accommodation included **three bunk beds and one double bed**, which was perfect and very spacious. The kitchen was decent and well-equipped with everything you might need, the toilet was clean and well-maintained, and the additional heating was fantastic especially appreciated during cooler weather. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the stay and felt the value for money was outstanding. That said, there is **one area that really needs improvement**, and I’m confident we are not the only guests who’ve faced this issue: the **laundry service**. While it’s good that laundry facilities are available, they are **painfully expensive** (€5 for 30 minutes of washing and €4.50 for 35 minutes of drying), and unfortunately, the instructions are very unclear and difficult to follow. Because of this lack of guidance, it’s very easy to make a mistake — and if you do, the machine simply resets, keeps your money, and does not return it. In our case, we put our clothes in the machine, paid €5 for the wash, and it started correctly. Due to the unclear instructions, we assumed we needed to insert the €4.50 in advance so that the dryer would start automatically after washing. We did so but the machine did nothing and still took our money. When we went to reception, only security was available (it was 23:38), and they informed us that nothing could be done until morning. Unfortunately, we had to check out before 06:00, so we never got our €4.50 back. Aside from this laundry issue, everything else about Fabulous Village was excellent from the staff and accommodation to the overall atmosphere. With clearer instructions and better handling of laundry-related issues, this place would easily be close to perfect. **Highly recommended**, and I would absolutely stay here again — hopefully next time in summer! 🌞✨

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board.

SSonya_theoneWe've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design. The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

GGuest UserAn Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Service at Starhotels Hello, I’m a traveler from Korea who recently stayed at Starhotels during a family trip to Italy. Our 4-day stay in Rome was so wonderful that I felt compelled to write this heartfelt review as soon as I returned home. This trip was our very first family vacation to Europe — with my mother and my son — and we spent the first three days in Rome at Starhotels. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations: the excellent location, the spotless rooms, and most of all, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were so satisfied that we decided to return to Starhotels for our final night in Italy. However, due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked the wrong date. After completing a long 11-day journey through southern Italy, we returned to Rome exhausted — only to realize the booking was incorrect when we arrived at the hotel. It was a stressful and overwhelming moment… until Mr. Tofael M., the manager, kindly stepped in to help us. Before even fully understanding the issue, Mr. Tofael looked us — especially my son — in the eyes and simply said, “Don’t worry.I’ll find a solution for you.” Those few words brought such relief and comfort. In a foreign country, such a mistake can feel paralyzing, but his calm and genuine reassurance made a huge difference. Even more touching was how Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola S. at the front desk went out of their way to find a solution for us. Since the booking was made through an external site (not directly through the hotel), it was a complicated issue. Nevertheless, Mr. Tofael personally made multiple calls and followed up diligently until he was able to resolve the matter. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spend our last night in Italy exactly where we wanted — back at Starhotels, feeling safe and cared for. As someone who has worked for years in global hotel chains in Korea and is still in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that their professionalism and dedication truly stood out. They are a model of what true hoteliers should be — and they absolutely deserve recognition and praise. Without hesitation, I will choose this hotel again when I return to Rome. I also plan to recommend Starhotels, along with the outstanding service of Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola, to as many people as possible through blogs, travel communities, and any platform I can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

AAnonymous UserTraveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.

MMbali ThusiThe hotel is in a good location and a walking distance to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. The location is ideal with cute restaurants all around. The room size is quite small even as a solo traveller but it’s ok. The breakfast is also very good even though it’s the same selection every day. But I really enjoyed it. The staff and reception are absolutely amazing, always willing to help and always having suggestions. The only major drawback is the bathroom. The toilet is very old and the shower is as small as a matchbox. I’m petite and even I felt very squashed and crammed in the shower. Every time you shower the curtain sticks on your body which is hygienic and quite annoying ( tried several ways to work around it but failed). I think it’s the worst shower I’ve experienced. I think it will be best to remove the shower curtain and use a plastic or glass door even if the shower is tiny. oh you also have to pay for the bottle water in the room which is €2. Overall the staff and the location of the hotel is superb.

OOuhuajiaoyuIt was quite a challenging stay. The requests I made in the booking were completely ignored. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, which seemed to upset the front desk staff quite a bit. A South Asian porter helped us with our luggage. I didn't have any small change, as I mostly pay with cards and rarely use cash, so I only gave him a 2 Euro coin as a tip. From that moment on, whenever he saw us, he showed absolutely no expression. I mean, it's not like I was going to give him a 200 or 500 Euro bill, right? Was it even worth that much? The hotel breakfast was excellent. The room, although not as good as the original one after the change, was still acceptable. The location is fantastic: just a few dozen meters from the train station, and there's an airport shuttle right outside. There are no issues with the location, and the area isn't as chaotic as some say. The only problem is that all the staff had rather cold and indifferent expressions, making you feel, for a moment, like you weren't even in Italy! I won't be staying here again, even with its many advantages. I just don't want to deal with their attitudes!
