GGuest UserOverall, the hotel looks clean, but the room was dusty in places. The location is excellent, literally 2 minutes from the city center. The staff are extremely helpful, really great people. Unfortunately, they hardly speak any English. In our opinion, the price of breakfast and dinner doesn't match the quality.

GGuest UserUpon our arrival, we're greeted with great staff members, who take our shoes and away and provide us slippers to wear during our entire stay.
The dinner was exquisitely served as a big course composed of various several side dishes and main items. We were just blown away.
So we came back to the room after dinner to find out that the futon beds, Japanese style mattress & beds, were set up for us to relax and sleep.
The breakfast is just a bit less sophisticated but still much more than we could eat, yet impressive for us in terms of the effort required to make them.
Same with upon our departure, our shoes are placed back at the lobby orientated readily for us to wear. It just shows Japanese highly attentive level of detail in terms of hospitality.
Although the location is its downside, even if you don't have a rental car, I still highly recommend it if you can find a way there.

KKinyouFacilities: Very comprehensive, most common amenities are available, but some in-room facilities are a bit old. Hygiene: No major issues, overall feeling was good. You even have to take off your shoes before entering the hotel, and you can wear socks throughout the entire hotel. Environment: Beautiful views and great hotel design, plus very attractive private hot spring landscaping. I think it met my expectations. Service: Nothing exceptionally special, but everyone was very enthusiastic in providing service, which I really appreciated.

XXINGQIThe traditional Japanese hot spring hotel has two open-air hot springs, a soup of Chicheng and a soup of rock mirrors. When you take a hot spring, you can see the opposite mountain view and beautiful scenery. Laoshen Hot Spring is at the entrance of the tail owl, and plans to go to the tail to hike early in the morning. The woman of the hotel will hear that I am going to go to the stern, and I will help me to contact me for the next day to go to the tail of the bus. I feel that the service attitude is really touched.

GGuest UserThe hotel is not far from the Kusatsu central area, about an 8-minute walk from the Kusatsu bus stop. I had booked a tatami room, but was given a twin room instead. The room was spacious with windows on two sides. The hotel's large public bath was spacious, although the outdoor pool was a bit small, only accommodating 3-4 people. Dinner was Japanese cuisine, but the variety and portions were limited, and the ingredients weren't particularly special. The staff were polite, and there was a shuttle bus to the Kusatsu bus stop. Overall, the price is worth comparing with other options before making a decision.

GGuest UserWonderful room, service, and overall experience. The room was equipped with a gas heater that quickly warmed the room up despite the January cold. There were also cups, a tea pot, satchels of green tea, and an electric kettle to prepare tea in the room. The onsen bath was very hot and wonderful and the futon and pillows were comfortable. 5/5 experience!

老老虎！！今天心情。。。爽This is a clubhouse hotel attached to a golf course. The golf course is very beautiful and is one of the best beautiful courses in Karuizawa. The service here is very good, the breakfast is very rich, will come again

GGuest UserEverything is very nice, especially we are surprised that the Ryokan serves kids' menu with beautiful dishes. The onsen is superb, and not so crowded. We are served by staff who can speak fluent English and it has no difficulty in communication. The Ryokan is a bit far, but it made the stay very peaceful & quiet.

GGuest UserThe building is old, but it is not understood that it is clean and cherished. The flowers on display were beautiful and the rice was very delicious. And the customer service was really polite, and I was often noticed that the color 々 was, and I was able to spend it with a very happy feeling that I noticed and acted before I asked. And the bath was the best.

GGuest UserLocation of the Ryokan is excellent and very convenient. Service is fantastic from valet parking, front desk to in room dining. However, the property is very old and the dated. As the walls are thin, noisy neighbours made it difficult to sleep.
