Wonderful stay. Super delicious and wide spread of food for breakfast. The hotel has several restaurants and cafes that you do not need to venture out to eat. The souvenir shop is located beside Osen, do not miss it. Do step out of the area outside breakfast restaurant to see the full view of sakurajima, with sunrise view, though you may want to walk to the nearby lookout at the park. But I think the view from hotel is good. The bakery sells delicious bread, soft and fresh. Shuttle bus is available at both lobby, one near main entrance and one near the Italian restaurant at level one. There is a post box at the level one entrance too, you can send postcards there!
This hotel's location is super convenient, right in the heart of the Tenmonkan area, with the tram stop directly in front. It's walking distance to the bustling downtown and plenty of restaurants, so exploring and dining out was a breeze. The hotel and rooms felt new and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The artificial carbonated hot spring in the public bath was fantastic for soothing away travel fatigue. I especially enjoyed the breakfast on the top floor, with amazing views of Sakurajima while savoring dishes made with local ingredients. The staff were also very attentive and polite. Overall, I'd say this is a highly satisfying hotel.
Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right. The hotel's on-site hot springs are also very comfortable, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning!
The hotel is near the Luwu bus stop. The room is very large. It is industrial style. There are very few foreign tourists in the Luwu. The first time I came to everything, I was curious. The hotel staff was kind and sent us Xixiang Longsheng's human biscuits. Thank you very much. In addition, the place to eat breakfast next to the hotel is a bakery. The bread inside is delicious. If you go to the deer house next time, you will definitely visit again!
The room is genuinely cozy, sparkling clean, and feels like a new apartment. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Tenmonkan. The street downstairs is lined with nightclubs, so it's probably best not to return too late. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs and a local supermarket diagonally opposite, offering all sorts of fresh meat and vegetables. It was perfect for us to buy ingredients and use the room's kitchenware for a satisfying yakiniku or shabu-shabu meal. The local wagyu and kurobuta pork were incredibly fragrant and absolutely delicious! Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, which has its pros and cons. The advantage is the peace, quiet, and freedom it offers. However, the downside is that if it's raining and you need help calling a taxi, there's no staff member available to assist you. A taxi ride to Kagoshima-Chuo Station costs about 1000 yen. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. Choose a traditional-style room with a sea view, and your stay will be unforgettable.
The location was amazing and no matter where you took a photo it was beautiful. We enjoyed various cocktails and shochu for dinner. Also, at dinner time, the seats were reserved, but when I told them I wanted to eat on the terrace they gladly moved me. The customer service of the staff was also very good, which was a deciding factor for me wanting to return.
There were towels placed in various places outdoors, and the foot bath and pool were easily accessible without having to go to the room to get a towel, which was nice. I would like to go again with my family.
Very close to the station,
The ice maker provides a lot of gas,
The bathtub is very deep and big
Good room sunshine
There is a family convenience store nearby,
The only downside is that check out at ten o'clock, if 11 o'clock is very good.
Our stay at Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and easily accessible by car. The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark – a truly phenomenal experience.
The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience.
SShalajiangfanqiejiangThe river view room has a beautiful scenery, with an extremely clear blue-green river outside the window. Breakfast and dinner are fresh local ingredients, mainly fish. There is a bus stop at the door: Ohara Town.

HHuifeideyuerbushanggouThe hotel offers a shuttle service, which makes getting around very convenient. Right outside the hotel, there's a tram stop that takes you to the pier, where you can catch a boat to Sakurajima for sightseeing. The hotel's breakfast is quite substantial, with plenty of fruit, and the golden kiwi was especially sweet. All the staff were attentive and thoughtful. The hotel also has a free gym, and right next door is a hot spring ♨️ where you can enjoy a full soak or a foot bath; the spa services, however, are paid. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. I hope for friendship between China and Japan and world peace 🤝🏻
GGuest UserEnvironment: The hotel boasts an excellent environment, particularly with the in-room rotenburo (open-air bath). The private dining room adds to the exclusive feel. Its location within a quiet community ensures a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Staff: A significant advantage for international travelers is the availability of English-speaking staff. Their willingness to communicate through messaging apps makes pre-arrival arrangements and on-site communication smooth and efficient.
Transportation: Direct airport bus service to a nearby bus stop offers convenient access to the hotel. However, it's important to check the bus schedule in advance, as departures are infrequent. Planning accordingly will ensure a hassle-free transfer.
Location: The hotel's location provides the convenience of being close to a convenience store, just a short five-minute walk away. This makes it easy to pick up any necessities or snacks.
Pricing: The pricing is reasonable, especially when considering the exceptional amenities included. The private rotenburo is a luxurious highlight, and the inclusion of both a fabulous breakfast and an elaborate, multi-course dinner (12+ courses) represents excellent value.
GGuest UserIt took a long time to choose a hotel in Ibusuki, and there were very few pictures and information about Xiu Sui En. However, after seeing netizens commenting that its kaiseki cuisine is its specialty, as foodies, we decided to book this hotel with the mentality of giving it a try, and the result! Really like it!
Service: Regarding the service, it is really a detail that only traditional Japanese hotels have. After we checked in, a pair of waiters came to pick us up and take us to the hot spring (private hot spring only costs about 100 yuan) and take us there. The restaurant (you must try the food, it is exquisite and delicious), the most surprising thing is that my slippers (fur slippers) were scorched and wet by the rain when I entered the door. I even jokingly asked my husband if they would see that my shoes were wet. Then help me dry it, otherwise I will have to wear wet shoes again the next day and end up going out the next morning! It was really dried (because one of them got smaller and shrunk hahaha, so it was definitely dried), and when we asked for any service, they would not ask us which room we were in, their waiters would remember us and serve us directly. We have arranged everything. Having said so much, we still have to experience it ourselves, haha.

斌斌哥418In addition to being cheap, this hotel is very hygienic, and you can see the Sakurajima volcano, and it is very close to the Kagoshima high-speed boat pier. This pier has an airport bus to Kagoshima Airport.
