The most glaring point here is the breakfast place and quality.I would assume for a 5star hotel, it will be near lobby or somewhere decent. End up at a obscure hall where the food wise is so-so and very cluttered. Not even a decent coffee machine that 3 star hotels use . The room is decent but a bit dusty on inspection. Toilet is old school and small. The onsen and indoor pool is small. The gym at 12th floor is without window and free weights, very unbecoming of a 5star hotel. Location is at least a 15 mins walk from the monorail station. No housekeeping for weekend apparently.
We had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Collective in Okinawa. The property is still very new and exceptionally clean throughout, making it a highly comfortable place to relax.
Key Highlights of Our Stay:
Great Perks for Families: They provide a dedicated kids' room that is completely free of charge. While it is not very big, it is still a nice bonus for families traveling with smaller children.
Excellent Outdoor Jacuzzi: The outdoor pool complex features a fantastic hot tub with a jacuzzi function. The water temperature is kept very hot, which felt amazing on a breezy, cool day of about 18–20 degrees Celsius.
Outstanding Breakfast Buffet: Future guests do not need to spend extra money hunting for authentic Okinawan food outside! The hotel's Vision & Emotion morning buffet serves an incredible spread where you can taste all traditional Okinawan dishes alongside Western and standard Japanese favorites.
Pro-Tip for Future Guests: I highly recommend adding a little extra money to your booking package to include the breakfast buffet up front. It is absolutely worth it and saves you the hassle of searching for food in the morning!

Pros: The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were decent, good for kids. It's not too far from Kokusai Dori, Naminoue Shrine, or the monorail station. Breakfast was okay, and there's a smoking room on the first floor. The hairdryer and toiletries were quite good.
Cons: The Wi-Fi was terrible, constantly disconnecting. There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom. I also distinctly felt that the front desk staff showed more patience when assisting Western and ********* guests compared to guests from mainland China (even when mainland Chinese guests were equally well-behaved). Of course, the front desk still maintained a Japanese standard of service, but the difference was noticeable.

Checked in at night, the view was great. The room was spacious and clean. It's about a 15-minute walk from the port. They have self check-in, but no Chinese-speaking staff. Breakfast was available, but we didn't book it.

Our check-in date happened to coincide with a typhoon in Okinawa. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful; despite the strong winds and heavy rain at the front entrance, they still managed to unload our luggage from the car and arranged for us to check in early. We were initially worried about parking safety at the pier, but the parking area inside the pier was actually very safe. Although it cost 2000 yen, which was a bit pricey, there was a semi-open walkway connecting to the hotel, so you wouldn't get wet in the rain unless it was a typhoon. The newly opened hotel was even more beautiful in person than in the renderings. While the weather wasn't as expected, we still enjoyed soaking in the clean and modern public bath, grabbing snacks at the Lawson shopping mall downstairs, taking a nap, and enjoying a delicious cocktail and a high-quality dinner at the hotel restaurant. We booked a bayside twin room with a fantastic view and extremely comfortable bedding. The spacious bedroom had a large sofa and a huge TV, but the bathroom and washbasin were a bit cramped. However, since we had access to the large public bath, it was all quite comfortable.
The hotel's location is convenient for those driving, with a fish market and supermarket nearby. The pier for outlying islands is right downstairs; many popular island snorkeling and diving destinations depart from this pier. The hotel also offers several summer water sports packages. For those driving or without a car, you can consider taking a boat from another pier to the north to avoid traffic jams.
In terms of location, it's convenient for those driving or travelers wanting to visit outlying islands. It's close to the city center but has a resort-like feel. It's over 15 minutes' walk to Kokusai Street, and the monorail isn't close either. If you want to shop on Kokusai Street, book a hotel on Kokusai Street. However, there seems to be a bus to the airport at the front entrance.
Overall, the accommodation was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and if the price is reasonable, I would definitely consider staying a few nights next time to plan a trip to the outlying islands.
「A hotel perfect for solo adult travelers looking to recharge in peace.」
It’s not flashy, but it's high-quality and incredibly relaxing. It strikes the perfect balance between a business hotel and a luxury one.
✴︎ What I loved:
① The incredibly calming atmosphere
* The room design is simple and refined.
* The soft lighting creates a wonderful relaxing ambiance at night.
* Even alone, it doesn't feel lonely; it's perfect for focusing on ”me time.”
② Excellent location
* Easily accessible from Yui Rail Naha Airport.
* Kokusai Street is within walking distance, making it ideal for a casual stroll out at night.
* Suitable for both leisure and business trips.
③ Sophisticated hotel vibe
* Quiet and comfortable.
* Being able to gaze at the night view and simply unwind was, subtly, the best part.
* You don't feel out of place even when traveling solo.

The room is small but has all the facilities you needed, the breakfast is not really a buffet which you need to take order for the main course and you can get beverages or side dishes from the bar. Taking 15 mins to the downtown Naha, convenient store is on the ground floor
Could check in really quickly without waiting in line so that was great. There were not that many washing machines, and it was difficult to use them because other guests would not come and collect their own laundry even after the machine had finished running. There was a sign saying that the neglected laundry would be collected after 10 minutes, but there weren't any staff keeping an eye on this anyway, so the warning sign wasn't helpful. Staff also seemed reluctant to provide more tea in the room even though they only have two tea bags every other day for a week-long stay. Even when asked, they would only initially offer one tea bag without asking if more were needed.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to Asahibashi Station, and there's a direct walkway from the second floor to the monorail station. The hotel also has a pick-up/drop-off point on the ground floor, so taking a taxi is very convenient. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the start of Kokusai-dori, offering a quiet escape while still being close to the action. A taxi from the airport costs around 2000 yen, which is quite a good deal if you're traveling with a group.
The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of local Okinawan dishes, such as Ryukyu ramen, sea grapes, and peanut butter pig's ears. You can pretty much try all the local specialties just by having breakfast there. Our family of four booked two rooms. My parents had breakfast at the hotel for all four days, while my sister and I only ate there once, opting for convenience store breakfasts on the other days (as a quick search on Tabelog showed no other breakfast options nearby). It's worth noting that the hotel provides each guest with a 500-yen dining voucher upon check-in, which can be used for breakfast (the full price is over 2600 yen). However, when we tried to get two more vouchers for subsequent breakfasts, they weren't provided. It seems to be a one-time offer per guest per stay, not per night.
There are also many great restaurants near the hotel. Just around the corner downstairs is the popular Iseya Ago Pork restaurant, and the Yakiniku Honbu Ranch BBQ restaurant is within walking distance. It's about a 20-minute walk to the First Makishi Public Market, but you pass through Kokusai-dori along the way, so you can walk, browse, and eat, which makes it feel much closer.
The hotel service is exceptional. After check-in, a staff member escorted us all the way to our room door by elevator. During daily cleaning, the staff are very careful with guests' belongings; anything not explicitly thrown in the trash is not discarded (even if it clearly looks like rubbish), which I really appreciate. The in-room amenities are already very comprehensive, even including hair ties. More amenities, like facial masks, body lotion, and mouthwash, are available at the front desk downstairs.
The only slight inconvenience is that you need to take an elevator to the 14th floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach the guest rooms.
Also, our city-view room on the eighth floor only offered views of the rooftops of adjacent buildings, with no actual scenery. If you prefer a better view, I'd recommend choosing a bay-view room.
The hotel was clean, and the room size was not too small for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Most of all, I was satisfied that we could have a healthy breakfast at this price. When we signed up for the Vessel membership, we received an Orion beer as a gift, and perhaps because we stayed in a Ryukyu room, they also gave us Ryukyu King Team clothing. My daughter left her clothes and glasses in the public bath, but when I went to the reception the next day, they had them safely kept, which I was very grateful for.

AAlyseChukzThe environment, location, and design are all pretty good. The only downside is that the pillows in the room aren't very comfortable. There's a shopping mall, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so it's quite convenient. It's also not too far from the train station; you can get there directly by taking the overhead bridge. The large public bath requires going nude, which I couldn't bring myself to do, so I didn't go.

GGuest UserFuku-chan, Nicole and 2 cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone.
The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car.
The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well.
The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures).
I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body.
We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga.
It is an inn that I want to visit again.
YYan ReevesWe had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically.
Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks.
Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan.
A few pieces of advice to the management:
1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours
2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them
3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once.
4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care?
5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician
6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies.
What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet, which made the stay especially relaxing. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. I truly appreciated the excellent service and attention to detail throughout my stay. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.
JJingziwuliuqiThe hotel grounds are huge and very beautiful. I booked a twin room, but the empty space wasn't very large. I had to push the two beds together to make enough room to open my suitcase. However, the room facilities were very comprehensive: a large balcony with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. The hotel shop sells diapers, so if you're traveling with a baby, you don't need to go out to buy them. I particularly want to praise the sea area; the water was shallow in the afternoon, and I swam around within the safe zone, encountering six different types of fish, which was fantastic. The hotel has many steps, but also plenty of ramps and elevators, making it suitable for strollers. Beach loungers are paid for by the full day or afternoon; there's no option for just the morning. The laundry room was a letdown, though. While there were many washing machines and dryers, they were quite old, and about a quarter of them were out of order.

HHsinTangThe hotel's swimming pool has indoor and outdoor sections, as well as a waterslide for babies. The indoor pool has a bed against the wall, making it safe and comfortable for young children to sleep. Importantly, there are also educational and fun activities nearby. I highly recommend bringing children to participate in these activities. Parking is available, but sometimes a shuttle service is required to get the car. I really loved the lobby's décor. Also, being able to continue playing in the pool after check-out is fantastic.
GGuest UserThis is my second time in Okinawa, and out of all the places I've stayed, this one is the absolute best! The location is fantastic; I actually preferred it not being right in the center of American Village. It's literally a minute from Aeon Mall, a minute from American Village, and there's even a 24-hour gacha shop right next door. The sauna facilities are top-notch, and it's great that guests can use it as many times as they want. If I ever come back to Okinawa, I'm definitely staying here again! 💛 The only minor issue was that after 10 PM, the staff member who helps with parking had gone home. I waited in the car for 20 minutes before calling the lobby to have someone come out and assist me with parking. On the plus side, the two nights of free parking were a great bonus!
