All the staff were friendly and helpful. To be highlighted are the reception and restaurant. The outdoor area, including the animals that appeared regularly, was very interesting and had something of a safari and holiday feel about it. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need to be renovated and modernized. But nothing was missing here either. The food selection was sufficient, but could be a little more extensive (fruit, cheese), especially at breakfast.

It was a great pleasure to stayat Eldorado Rustic Hotel in Nakuru. Staff was super friendly and helpfully, especially manager Mrs Lizz.It on the doorstep of Nakuru national park. Lizz orgenized for me great man David who showed me Nakuru park, we have seen all animals! I highly recommend this place!

Wow this place is really exceptional! From the friendly greeting to the amazing views, beautiful rooms and really good food, we only wished we could have stayed more than one night!. The pool is gorgeous, the staff are very helpful and eating on the balcony with the sunrise over a fabulous view will always stay with us. We loved it here!

Great experience! Loved the courts, the food, the ambience, the staff..... everything was just a blast and beautiful. Enjoyed every bit of my stay at the hotel. Would highly recommend John Kinyua and Sam as the best drivers ever. Cecilia happens to have the most welcoming countenance. Wafula - the chef is very professional. Matilda, Nancy, Dennis, Janet and Elizabeth served me and my people greatly. Overall, good spot that I would love to go back to, again and again.

The lodge is in a fantastic location but the pictures of the outside mask a tired and run down hotel desperately in need of modernisation. We stayed for 2 nights and our rooms were very disappointing. Booked for us via our safari with Trailfinders we were I Italy staying for 1 night but paid £980.00 for two rooms for an extra night based on photos before we travelled. Total rip off. Sorry. Dirty shower room, stained bedding and mosquito net. Dodgy electrics and light fittings. Was just really disappointing. The positive about the lodge is the staff. Really great and always very welcoming. Food was okay but lacked variety and choice. Can’t recommend this hotel.

A good value for money hotel next to Naivasha Lake, mainly Chinese

The hotel is beautiful and has a very large footprint. The rooms are fully equipped with African features, both indoor and outdoor bathrooms and large balconies. You can walk to the lake in a few minutes' walk, and you can watch hippo feeding every day from 12:00 to 12:00. The price is three meals, but Ctrip’s order only contains the early date. We only know when we check out, and we waste more than a thousand dollars.

Sentrim Elementaita is in a beautiful location and you feel welcomed as you enter reception with the homely design and beautiful view of the lake. I visited as a solo traveller as part of a group safari tour. It is a large site although we arrived quite late and departed early so I did not have chance to experience the all of the facilities. The accommodation was set out as small lodges and I was fortunate to be allocated a lodge on the lakeside. They were very spacious and had everything that was needed. The beds were comfortable, showers had plenty of hot water and the view from my terrace looking over the lake was fantastic - complete with a stork and a heron not too far away! The food was good and they were kind enough to provide a late lunch for us as our party arrived a little late from our game drives. Inevitably at a location right next to water, there are a lot of flies, but it was not as bad as I expected prior to arrival. We were assured these were just ”lake flies” and not mosquitoes and admittedly I didn't get any bites during the time I was there. The staff took a number of measures to control the flies including guards on the lodges, lamps across the site and dim lighting at mealtimes. When I returned from dinner a few had managed to make it into my accommodation but this is to be expected and what not a big deal. The reasons for me not rating this site 5/5 is that the pool water was dirty/cloudy - I didn't have time to use it due to the short stay but I would not have entered it if I had. I'm not sure if it was dirty or if it was some sort of treatment due to the flies but it was noticeable. The other reason is the staff - they could do with a touch of customer service training - nothing major but just lacked the same level of hospitality and warmth that we had received at our previous camp - maybe we were spoiled previously? All in all, an ideal place to stay if visiting Lake Nukuru or the surrounding areas. I would stay again but more as a place to rest my head than a resort stay.
