I was upgraded to a Deluxe room but it was at the extreme corner next to the service staircase. Grateful for the upgraded but the room conditions were not up to par . Hair in shower room , the shower holder fell when I was taking it out and it dropped on my toe . Hence the blue black toe shown ( hehe ) . I could not sleep the whole night as the air con was very very noisy even when I lower the adjustment. The day curtain was torn . I sound it out to reception the next morning to see whether they can change my room as I was staying for another 2 nights . They did and I reckoned it was another up grade as now the room has a standing shower room . In the other previous room , you have to stand in the bath tub to shower and for a man of 65 , it is a bit tricky . The hotel really needs an up grade too . It is in a good location and CAT bus is nearby . The CAT shuttle is a complimentary bus that moves around the town area . The saving grace for my trip was that the staff was up to par and reacted quickly . Well done on this . Now , I wait for my toe to heal .

We always stay in this hotel or the next one every time we visit Penang. As usual, beautiful and nice and clean room. We got a cake for our anniversary. Breakfast is good and not crowded like the other hotel. Best location next to 2 shopping malls. We went for seafood buffet in the other sister hotel and at senior citizen price. Fantastic offer. Will definitely be back. We requested for late checkout because don't want to go too early to airport. They gave us 2 more hours which was fantastic.

Disappointed did not provide room slipper. But the amenities show slipper available during booking. Room provided good drinking water quality with LG water filtration. Difinity pool was nice. Thank you

We have now completed our third and fourth days at PARKROYAL Penang Resort, and our experience has been exceptional from start to finish. One of the highlights of our stay was the room change arranged by the hotel team. There is no sufficient space for guests drop off and pick up and for if there are two to three cars the area before hotel will be messed up and stuck together! The enclosed captured screen from goggle map is self explanatory ! Every morning commencing 8:00 am to 09:00am there will be large trolleys outside the rooms and on upper floors transferring towels and other amenities around and the sound like you are sitting by the railway while the trains are crossing which was rather annoying. You will hear staff talking or chatting together and the metallic service door slamming during that period. Most interesting is every day the housekeeping has left souvenirs to us. The first day was a toilet brush and the second day was a cigarette lighter. Last but not the least when we approached the concierge to get the luggages while the car was waiting just outside the hotel main door the bell boy asked my wife to move the luggages by herself and the distance was only 3 meters away!

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The only area for improvement would be the shower drainage, which appeared to have some issues during my stay. Overall, my first stay experience was satisfactory, and I enjoyed the comfort and hospitality provided.

Hotel is newly renovated, room is spacious and hotel staff are friendly. We enjoyed the pool, beach and breakfast.. and personally I love the vibes and sound of the waves so calming

The hotel is in the city center, very close to the scenic spots. Right opposite the hotel, there's a free shuttle bus, which is super convenient. The hotel service is great, facilities are complete, and it offers excellent value for money.

This hotel is located in the heart of Penang Island, right opposite Komtar. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a high-floor sea view room. The breakfast spread was excellent, and it's super convenient for shopping districts and the famous street art area. Penang durians, especially Musang King and Black Thorn, had just come into season and were absolutely delicious! I've stayed at a few other hotels for business trips to Penang before, but from now on, this hotel will be my go-to choice.

Stayed at Hotel Mokozoyo recently and had a really pleasant experience overall. I requested a quiet room after reading about potential noise from the main road and surrounding areas, and I’m glad that was accommodated — it made the stay much more comfortable. The room itself has a nice, well-organised layout with a clean and modern feel. The hotel’s design really stands out, especially the stylish raw-concrete aesthetic, which gives it a minimalist yet very polished vibe. Cleanliness throughout the property was also excellent. What makes it even better is the location — being right in the heart of George Town means unbeatable walkability to local food streets, cafés, and major attractions, which made exploring extremely convenient. Overall, a well-designed boutique stay with great location, solid comfort, and thoughtful room arrangements.
