We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy, though the rooms are not that spacious, but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus, the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him.

The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the service was good value for the price. Access from the room to the pool was very convenient. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both kids and adults, with shallow areas on both sides for non-swimmers and deeper sections in the middle for more confident swimmers. Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is in a great location — very close to shops and only a short walk to the beach, which made getting around really easy. The pool was nice and clean, and while the gym was small, it was still manageable for a basic workout. The room came with lots of thoughtful amenities like toothbrushes and combs, which was a nice touch. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, so there was something for everyone. However, there were a few downsides. The shower didn’t drain properly and the toilet was clogged during our stay — although to their credit, the staff responded quickly and sent someone to fix the issues. The hotel also had a noticeable damp smell in some areas. Overall, the staff were kind and proactive, and the location is very convenient.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay with excellent breakfast and convenient location We stayed at Amber Hotel Cebu for two weeks and had a very enjoyable experience overall. Breakfast was included every morning, and the food was excellent with good variety and quality a great way to start each day. The location was also very good, making it easy to get around Cebu for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The hotel was comfortable and well-maintained, and we felt at ease throughout our stay. Overall, a solid choice in Cebu and great value for money. We would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Solea Mactan is far from the city but everything you need is in the hotel already. We loved how they value those families traveling because they have a play area for kids and kids at heart. There are also lots of swimming pools although I think the beach area could be better. They also have these freebies which we really appreciated. Breakfast was also good!

The hotel was quite good, with comfortable rooms. The only drawback is that the rooms facing Quezon National Highway are not well soundproofed, and there was a lot of traffic noise inside the room. It is isolated from the city centre, but a positive point is the free transfers to the airport.

The room was clean, and the location was convenient, right next to a Chinese church. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were all very welcoming. The rooftop pool was clean, had attentive service, provided towels, and you could even order food there. SM Big Mall is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing Stay at Toyoko Inn Cebu! I had a wonderful stay at Toyoko Inn Cebu. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The room was cozy and spotless, and I really appreciated the free breakfast—it was simple but delicious. The location is also very convenient, close to transport and important places. Overall, it was an amazing stay and great value for money. I would definitely recommend Toyoko Inn Cebu and will surely stay here again!

We love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean and tidy, making disinfection and sanitation reassuring. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, with many different kinds of fruits. The combination of Chinese and Western dishes is excellent and delicious. The location is superb, and the kids' play area is also a lot of fun.

Kkissa2005We arrived at this hotel in the late afternoon, as we'd previously traveled a very difficult route from Coron Island, Cebu Island, and Palawan. We got there on our own, by tricycle. We were greeted by very pleasant hotel staff and checked in quickly, as we were very tired. After checking in, we asked the receptionist for advice on where we could eat, and we were pleasantly surprised when she offered to take us in their shuttle to a restaurant run by an Italian and wait there while we dined on authentic Italian oven-baked pizza before taking us back, as we had no signal at the time. The next morning, they prepared a delicious breakfast for us (the hotel offers a breakfast menu with a choice of four European and about four Filipino dishes from 8:00 to 10:00), and the portions are very generous. After breakfast, we noticed there were no other guests at the hotel. We checked and found out we were the only ones there, as a typhoon had hit the day before our arrival and the ferries from Cebu had been canceled. So, my husband and I spent five unforgettable days at this hotel. We also rented a Honda Click for 500 pesos per day and drove around the sights of Palawan and Bohol. The staff responded quickly to all our requests. We had some minor issues with the Wi-Fi, which didn't work in the room, but the connection was excellent outside the room. This issue was quickly resolved. The room is cozy, equipped with air conditioning and a large ceiling fan, a refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, and a minibar stocked with soft drinks and beer. The bathroom comes with toiletries, shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer. The hotel grounds feature a beautiful swimming pool, bordered by blooming banana palms, and a perfectly green lawn that's a delight to stroll on. We also asked for lunch boxes to be packed for us upon departure. To our surprise, when we opened our neatly packed boxes on the ferry, we found a full breakfast, just like the one they'd prepared for us. Thank you, it was a very pleasant and delicious meal. Our correspondence with the hotel was also prompt and responsive. I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the owner for the excellent service at this hotel, as well as to all the staff we interacted with. I spent five unforgettable days at your wonderful hotel.

BBubbleChimpGood for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value. For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price. Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too. The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away. The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too. I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow. Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously. Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect. The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels. The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry.

SStan LeungCrimson Hotel has excellent staff, friendly service, and great facilities such as the bubble pool party on Saturdays and private beach snorkeling. The location is a bit far from the city, but the shuttle helps. Rooms are clean though somewhat dated, and dining in the hotel restaurants is pricey, with overall costs on the higher side.

AAnonymous UserThis was my second time staying at Solea Hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food choices, and the room rates are affordable, which makes the hotel a good value for money. However, I was slightly disappointed with the check-in process this time. We booked three rooms, but upon arrival, only one room was available. We were allowed to check in to the first room and were asked to wait there while the other two rooms were being prepared. Although the official check-in time is 3:00 PM, we only received the keys for the remaining two rooms at around 5:40 PM. The staff kept telling us that the room keys would be “to be followed,” but despite several follow-ups, the waiting time took around 2–3 hours, which was quite long. Since the rooms were booked online in advance, we were expecting them to be ready on time. That said, this was the only time I experienced this issue. During my first stay, everything went smoothly and I had no complaints. I still appreciate the hotel’s amenities and affordability, and I hope the check-in process can be improved in the future.

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.
