I needed to book a hotel due my delayed flight and surprisingly I found this one. Very clean, beautiful staff and comfortable, including a perfect Finnish sauna (as I am Finnish) LOVED IT. Thank you, I would recommend this anyone even longer time stay.
The hotel is quite far from the stockholm tourist area, but the metro station is just nearby, where the main attractions are 2-3 stops away.
The room is clean but a bit dated. The breakfast was great, with a lot of options, including a waffle machine.
There is a gym and the sauna is just next to it. However, the sauna is a bit small, which can only accommodate max 6 ppl.
We also purchased the option that includes dinner, it is served as dinner voucher at the restaurant, which you can choose 1 starter + 1 main or 1 main + 1 dessert.
The location is excellent, right next to the city center business district, making transportation very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the night view was great. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was strong. The staff provided attentive service and responded quickly to requests. The breakfast selection was rich and the quality was good. Some facilities are a bit old, and the gym space is a bit small, but overall it offers high value for money and is worth recommending.
It is a great experience staying in a ship for a night. The staffs are all very friendly and you could have your luggage stored for free which most of the hotels required you to pay for the locker. You could feel the wave when you stay inside which is exciting. You could also have a great nice city view from the bar above. I would come back definitely 😊
After exiting T5, follow the signs for SkyCity Hotel on the departure level and you'll reach the hotel. For the price, it's really great value for money. The front desk staff are very welcoming. There's no kettle in the room, but you can get free hot or cold water from the front desk. There's also a laundry room.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right above the central station, with direct subway access to the airport and other areas. You can essentially catch any subway line from here.
Just a few steps away, you'll find the famous Clara Church, and there are malls nearby as well. It's in the heart of the city's CBD, very lively, and you can find anything you need.
The hotel rooms are good, especially considering it's a spa bed hotel in the Nordic region... this is the most normal room you'll find 😂. It's a king-size bed room with a shower and toiletries included. However, there are no slippers or toothbrushes.
The hotel is conveniently located near all stations, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town and the palace. The rooms are quite newly renovated, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. The front desk staff are polite and friendly.
The room was very warm and comfortable! The hot water in the bathroom is sufficient! The breakfast is full, especially five or six kinds of fruits to choose from.
The location is fantastic, just a six-minute walk from the central station, five minutes from the airport express, and ten minutes from the pedestrian shopping street. The hotel has a very large and tastefully decorated lobby, complete with a bass guitar available to play.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options.
However, the room lighting was dim, the shower door leaked, and the towels were old and worn (though they were replaced upon request). The hotel has many rooms, so getting to your room after taking the elevator can involve a long walk down the corridor. During the Christmas holiday, the hotel was not very busy.
The location is fantastic, right near the City Hall where the Nobel Banquet is held. From the Arlanda Express, head towards Central Station, and just past Starbucks, take the escalator up. You'll see two Radisson hotels at the exit, and the waterfront one is on the left. The rooms are spacious, the views are great, and the breakfast offers a good variety and is tasty. Highly recommended!

Very Good
LLinxianshengbeijingThis hotel is located right next to Stockholm's central train station, offering excellent transport links, including an express service to the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean, and come equipped with a kettle. A standard room costs around 1000 RMB per night and includes a very generous breakfast. This is considered quite inexpensive, even a real bargain, given the high prices in Nordic countries. It's a highly recommended option for anyone visiting Stockholm.
GGuest UserStayed here several times before and I arrived quiet early this time, luckily I could already checkin early.
Great hotel, but wooden floor in the hotel rooms are a bit worn. Other then that the hotel is clean and staff friendly.

GGuest UserGreat location! There's a cozy bar with a nice atmosphere on the ground floor. We booked a quad room with a private bathroom. Just remember to bring your own towels and slippers as they aren't provided in the room. Stockholm is a fantastic city, and if you're visiting, Generator is definitely the top choice.
GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Ppippi312This hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise! Though the room wasn't huge, it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was particularly well-appointed with thoughtful details: the showerhead's button design was the most sensible and convenient I've encountered in any hotel, and the heated towel rail ensured soft, dry towels.
Getting here is incredibly convenient: from the airport, take bus 579 or 583 to Märsta, then transfer to Pendeltåg 40 or 41 and alight at Ulriksdal station. The hotel is just a one-minute walk to the right after exiting the station.
Bus 509 stops directly across the street from the hotel. A few stops will take you to Ulriksdal Palace – I highly recommend visiting if you have time, and don't miss the excellent desserts at its cafe! Alternatively, taking bus 509 in the opposite direction for about 10-15 minutes will bring you to Solna Centrum, which boasts a large supermarket and numerous shops.
A crucial tip: book well in advance! I secured a significant discount on the room rate by booking three months ahead. Also, be aware that in Swedish hotels, you typically need to proactively inform the front desk if you wish to have your room cleaned.

SShanghai based coupleI stayed here with my mom who is from Sweden and is 79 years old but was travelling from the UK where she now lives. We were visiting family, both in and around Stockholm. This was an important trip for her, and me and we really needed it to go well.
Given such high expectations and unusual requirements because of my mom’s her age, we were really surprised by how well this hotel delivered and absolutely delighted with our stay.
The location was flawless and allowed her to see and do things nearby unassisted, while also allowing us to use the train from the main train station 5 minutes away to go to a nearby town, as well as within walking distance to meet her old school friends in a quintessentially Swedish coffee shop in the centre of town.
Breakfast was very authentically Swedish, but it was a bit odd that they didn’t have limpa bread. Otherwise an excellent selection of Scandinavian food that was delicious and filling. The view to the Stadshuset (Stoholm’s City Hall) where the majority of the Nobel prizes are given out from in the restaurant was really charming.
The rooms were spacious and finished to a really high standard.
The service and the staff were fantastic, including Marcus who met us at the door and helped with out bags, as well as Hannah and George. We cannot thank the whole team enough for thoughtful and awesome work to make such an important trip so memorable, easy and enjoyable.
GGuest UserThe shower room very very small, no drop in the shower room floor, only a gentle falls, floors get wet easily. No slippers provided, good to bring your own. There’s no coffee tea making facilities, if you need hot water, has to get it from the lobby. The location is ok, next to World Trade Center and Arlanda Express. Standard Double Room size is ok for two person, enough space to open two 24” luggage.
