Fairfield Inn & Suites Anchorage Midtown

Fairfield was nice and fairly accommodating. We checked in and made arrangements for the shuttle to the train station two days later only to find out later that the staff had misinformed us as to the process. The evening before we were to leave on the train the staff said we were not properly registered for the shuttle, but they ”did us a favor” by making an exception. our toilet stopped up the first morning and they sent a repairman immediately to fix it. Breakfast was pretty good with hot eggs, bacon, waffles, and the usually cereal, etc. The room was very full (we had a groups of 4 and there were not enough seats) but very clean. A young man stood by the door to the kitchen to make sure everything was replenished, and he helped me get some bagels together for the next morning when we were leaving early. They also made a to-go breakfast for us for the morning we left since the dining room would not be open. Fairly close to the airport and not far from the Walmart in case you need anything.

As I reflect on my 3 week trip around Alaska I can't help but realize this was the worst of my experiences, and I stayed at a super 8. The room was musty and in dire need of a DEEP clean. the mattress was indented and old. I left this property with a rash on my neck and face. I brought this to their attention and was simply told ”sorry” and also that there were no bed bugs found in my room. I beg to differ, it took me over a week to recover. This was just the beginning unfortunately. The staff is obviously not happy and not treated well. The overall energy is very stiff and uptight. Restaurants were closed and understaffed, no bartender during the day to make drinks. I went off property for dinner and found great food elsewhere. Overall, its outdated and not worth the price of the room or food. I will say that the spa is so amazing and worth going to and worth the price. Go there and stay someone else in town!
Denali Bluffs Hotel

The location is good, very close to the National Park and visitor centre. It has a restaurant and coffee shop and a shuttle buses. The hotel is very aged, needs a full upgrade. The fan is very old and noisy. When the next door room using shower/toliet you can hear clearly. All the towels/sheets should be for many years without change, small, hard and in dirty colour. The back door has no lock, using a wooden stick instead. The cleaners and front desk are untrained, they gave us a wrong instruction to our tour and ended up we missed it. When we asked for a room service to a cleaner, 2 managers came in and asked why we needed a room service(we only need to have a new towels and get rubbish removed). We were charged $44 for a luggage transfer fees when we check out( we’re not told when we checked in).Compared with other hotels at this area, the price is much higher. Princess lodge cross road is a much better choice but it was full when we booked it
The Lakefront Anchorage

This hotel does have some years on it, but we found our room very clean, the bed comfortable, decent tv selection, large screen tv, and larger than the average room. We spent two nights and ate in the restaurant for dinner once and breakfast once, no complaints. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the seaplanes take off and land during our meal. Convenient to the airport and seasonal shuttle to train station and downtown. We would stay here again.
Ramada by Wyndham Anchorage Downtown

It is a very economical hotel in the local area. Others are generally around 200 US dollars. This hotel is about 100 US dollars. The hotel environment and facilities are a bit old, but the old hotel rooms are also larger. In general, it's not a very good hotel, but it's still acceptable for the price, it's 6 points. If the location is 2-3 bus stops from the city center, it is not too bad. I didn't take many pictures of the hotel. Just put a few pictures to make up the number.
Pike's Waterfront Lodge

Come back from the hot springs and check in again after returning to the airport. Soon, it will arrive in 10 minutes. The airport is 3 minutes from the hotel and is very convenient. Bedding and toiletries are good, and the hotel is decorated with special features. Breakfast has a hot sandwich, now made of muffins, simple but enough

We were staying for six nights, two couples; so we wanted a bit more comfort. The manager, Lester told us about two rooms next to each other that had an adjoining entry, This worked out so great for us! They only have two rooms that have patio door access and waterfront views. The beds are comfy and the service was excellent. We had a problem with the drapes and the maintenance man(ZAK) came and fixed them promptly. All the staff and people we met were so kind and friendly. Juneau should be proud of them.

Aurora Villa

Location: There is an open area outside the window, taking into account privacy and vision. The tree on the left side of the place where I live is a little reflective, but it has not affected much. Friends who have the conditions can set two more days and two more days to increase the quality of the aurora. We checked in on the first day at Fairbanks. Unfortunately, it was only level 2. It was hard to see with the naked eye, only the camera could take pictures. I only stayed here for a day because I had to catch a trip. I believe that if you catch the aurora outbreak, you can have a shelter from the wind and rain and slowly adjust the equipment. It is much better than hurrying to get off the frame machine on the roadside. Transportation: There is pick-up. The two of us have been looking forward to experiencing the full picture of Alaska as much as possible, so the train from Anchorage came over, and the train in winter is called Aorura winter. After contacting the hotel, my brother and I directly arranged it on WeChat, so you can come from the train station. It ’s not recommended to rent a car. It ’s a bit difficult to drive. If you want to drive yourself, just rent a Subaru. This is Subaru ... Service: The thief was enthusiastic, so he drank on a skewer and drank. There are all kinds of drinks in the lobby. I actually found my favorite lamonata. I was shocked. There are sour things. It would be perfect if there was instant noodles for breakfast. ps. I wore a gore tex that I used for bowhunting in March, and this place is warmer than Chicago. The temperature is really white. When I returned from the Arctic Circle the next day, I took a poor tripod + Fuji x100f wide-angle conversion mirror on the side of the road
Four Points by Sheraton Juneau

I hit this hotel during high season and 4 cruise ships in port. Still, they delivered for the most part on providing a clean, very large, and pleasant hotel room complete with decent front desk. It's a great location downtown. Easy walking distance to shops and stores. The first trip a year ago I faced the water, this time the city and I have to say, both are nice. Because of high season, the rate was outrageous, but not many rooms available.
