This hotel does have some years on it, but we found our room very clean, the bed comfortable, decent tv selection, large screen tv, and larger than the average room. We spent two nights and ate in the restaurant for dinner once and breakfast once, no complaints. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the seaplanes take off and land during our meal. Convenient to the airport and seasonal shuttle to train station and downtown. We would stay here again.

The most iconic hotel in Anchorage, I had to stay even if I could only afford one night. Everything was good, the room was a bit small. Definitely paying big city prices for little old Alaska, which can feel like price gouging.

I am a Diamond Member with Hilton Honors and try to stay at Hiltons for all my travels. I am surprised this hotel carries the Hilton name. It is NOT on brand. 1. I called the hotel 3 times. First two times I was on hold for over 7mins each time, finally the 3rd time they said, ”Can I place you on hold” I said ”No, I can not hold”. I talked to Patrick and I indicated from reviews that I would like to have an odd room number because of the train and I needed a refrigerator. He said he would make a note of it. When I arrived at 2:15am, no note, no nothing. Very dissappoined. 2. There was no refrigerator and I was put on a waitlist. Two days and nothing. 3. Room was dirty. Housekeeping left blue gloves and wipes on the floor. I was thankful that I carry my own Lysol wipes and cleaned entire room. (I had to change rooms and both were this way) 4. I had an ”even” number room so I heard the train all hours of day and night. Even though I had ear plugs, you still hear the train. 5. Outlet in bathroom did not work. Had to blow dry hair next to bed. 6. At 4:30am, I had to ask housekeeping or Hilton employees to please be quiet because people are trying to sleep. This hotel is awful. Needs attention. Also, no acknowledgment from front desk regarding my Diamond Status. A simple ”Thank you” goes a long way.

As I reflect on my 3 week trip around Alaska I can't help but realize this was the worst of my experiences, and I stayed at a super 8. The room was musty and in dire need of a DEEP clean. the mattress was indented and old. I left this property with a rash on my neck and face. I brought this to their attention and was simply told ”sorry” and also that there were no bed bugs found in my room. I beg to differ, it took me over a week to recover. This was just the beginning unfortunately. The staff is obviously not happy and not treated well. The overall energy is very stiff and uptight. Restaurants were closed and understaffed, no bartender during the day to make drinks. I went off property for dinner and found great food elsewhere. Overall, its outdated and not worth the price of the room or food. I will say that the spa is so amazing and worth going to and worth the price. Go there and stay someone else in town!

This is awesome hotel. That have 4 restaurants in the property. We can enjoy meals and suevenia shopping all the day in the hotel.

We arrived shortly before midnight and checked in. My youngest daughter reported that the shower faucet was broken. We reported to the front desk about the issue about 7:30 am and were told that it would be repaired by the time we got back from the Portage Lake excursion. Requested another room , none available according to the front desk We got back at 3pm and the issue was not corrected. Had the front desk call the manager about issue and she said they could not get a repair on the weekend. It seems to me that you would have someone on retainer for the weekends for this popular motel.. Manager would not authorize more than 1 day refund (we were to stay for 3 nights) instead of refunding 2 nights with a late checkout fee. The room was useless w/o shower. We left for another location. Talked to the manager about the issue. She was a real Karen. She was constantly over talking my wife who was requesting something to make it right. We will contest the whole bill with Discover card.

The location is very good, it takes 3 minutes to get to the Anchorage Museum. The front desk staff was very nice, the order showed that check-in was only possible at 3 pm, and the check-in was smooth at 12 o'clock. There is also a small living room in the room, which is very practical.

Was a good stay. The room was a bit to warm for me when I got checked in, but was able to lower the room temperature. Good clean room with a nice firm bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being next to McDonalds and the Breeze In are also very good options

OK, close to the airport

I hit this hotel during high season and 4 cruise ships in port. Still, they delivered for the most part on providing a clean, very large, and pleasant hotel room complete with decent front desk. It's a great location downtown. Easy walking distance to shops and stores. The first trip a year ago I faced the water, this time the city and I have to say, both are nice. Because of high season, the rate was outrageous, but not many rooms available.

It's a place with comfort and swamp.

I stayed for four nights in early May 2023. I was pleasantly surprised. These are a few other things that I really liked. • free parking directly behind the hotel • housekeeping service every day • fantastic Central location • ultra friendly and helpful staff • upgrade to a decent size one bedroom King suite • fast, free Wi-Fi These are the things that I didn't like so much. • room was stuffy at night, even with the windows open • no drain plug in the bathtub. Had to improvise with a bottle cap.

Parking lot well lit for those dark winter months when you are out late searching for the Aurora and get the hotel late. Also visible security at night in the lobby. We stayed in a deluxe queen that came with free breakfast. Breakfast was better than most free breakfast options at hotels. The staff also gave us a container for food to take to our daughter who was still asleep after being up late looking for the northern lights. Room had space for our luggage and a microwave and fridge. The bathroom door is a strange set up. It separates the bedroom from the room but the second doorway has no door to the room where the toilet and shower are located so if someone is getting ready at the sink they have to deal with the steam from the shower or need to leave to provide privacy for someone to use the toilet. A door could make this set up so much better.

A large resort, you can board a variety of snow activities and aurora activities at the event center. The hot spring is the biggest feature, very good and very dreamy, the resort has a restaurant, the food tastes good, the price is also pertinent, and there is a small supermarket to buy sandwiches. Simple meals, etc., the Ice Museum is cool, you must try it.

Hotel location is good, in the urban area (the city is actually very small) walking to the surrounding restaurants will also be 10-15 minutes. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport (10 knives if you go to rent a car, free if you go to the airport after check-out) and the train station. The hotel is very quiet. The room is also big! We loved the hotel's location. We were only going to be in Fairbanks for two nights (one of which was spent chasing the aurora), so we needed somewhere central. The Springhill Suites was walking distance to two excellent restaurants: The Crepery and Big Daddy's BBQ. For souvenir shopping, it was right across the road from Arctic Traveller's Gift Shop. And for last-minute winter/outdoor clothing, Big Ray's was just a few steps away. Despite being given a room on the second floor, it was quiet and we could not hear any street noise. The room was large with a very comfortable sofa in a separate sitting area. The decor was rather dated, but we had all we needed, like a microwave oven and coffee maker. We travelled during winter, and the room was always warm, but it would have been good to have somewhere to hang our heavy winter jackets. Service at the front desk was hit and miss; there were some who were friendly and helpful, others who seemed to be inconvenienced by our queries or requests. I'd like to give special thanks to Bernie, our shuttle driver. Our luggage was delayed and we had to make an extra trip to the airport to collect it. Bernie not only sent us to the airport, he waited for us while we retrieved the bag, all done with good cheer and reassurances that things will be ok. He has certainly set the bar very high for service.

Hotel location is good, very quiet, close to the entrepreneur's park, clean, good swimming pool. The waiter also told me that there was aurora at night and the service was good.
