"There is no temperature at the counter service. Cold. Apart from paying for meals, there are no options. The overall feeling is not good."

GGuest UserI didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

GGuest UserMy first night at the hotel was fantastic, setting a positive tone for my stay. The second night brought a few challenges—minimal bathroom ventilation, a louder air conditioner, and some trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. However, the hotel staff were attentive and promptly offered me a new room, which resolved these issues and provided a much smoother experience. I took advantage of the fitness center, though navigating the new treadmills was a bit tricky since they weren’t pre-programmed. While the pool closure was disappointing, the hotel acknowledged my concerns and generously offered me a complimentary dinner with a drink. On the third night, I accidentally left my car keys behind when heading out in the morning. Upon returning, my key card didn’t work, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Later, I relaxed in my room, appreciating the view despite a minor inconvenience with a broken curtain rod. Once again, the hotel addressed my concerns with care, granting me a complimentary night and a refund as a gesture of goodwill. While the hotel has room for improvement with its facilities, the staff truly stood out with their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine efforts to ensure my comfort. Their dedication turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that left me feeling valued. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserI was moved from the 4th floor to the 17th floor because the noise on the 4th floor was like a resonant air conditioning duct, and even turning off the AC didn't help. It made my heart race; it was extremely uncomfortable. Actually, I could hear it when checking in on the ground floor, but it was exceptionally noisy on the 4th floor, a low-frequency type of noise. After moving to the 17th floor, the noise was from outside, and I couldn't believe it was as noisy as sleeping on the street. The hotel service was good, but the hardware issues can't be changed. If you are sensitive to noise, this hotel is not suitable for you. The rooftop dining environment is very good, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but the city's public safety is just average, so it's advisable not to go out at night.

ZZaiyilushang8855The hotel is excellent. The room's decor and layout are fantastic. In the evenings, there's a live band performing in the lobby. And you absolutely *must* try their freshly-made desserts and snacks – they're superb!

AAnonymous UserFirst checking in, the gentleman was very friendly and kind. After getting settled in the room it was nice. However, you could hear everything going on in the hallway. Upon asking for more towels there were no bath towels left due to being short staffed. Additionally the cleaning staff were exceptionally loud in the morning and had woken me up.

GGuest UserThe facility was lackluster at best. It used to be great. Eco friendly was claimed for not doing daily room service. Hypocritical. There were paper plates, plastic serve where, and poorly working HVAC units.  The organization was simply looking to cut down on costs. Similarly, I’ve seen better breakfasts at hotels that cost half as much. Vents in the bathrooms were nonfunctional. The window could only be closed from the outside. I look forward to posting this on yelp unless you make amends.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel was quiet and felt safe. I requested a handicapped room by the elevator( ahead of time) since I would not have my mobile chair or walker in the hotel. My room ended up being almost all the way down the hall, which meant I only came out when necessary. It would have been nice to be close enough to enjoy the restaurant, coffee bar, breakfast or the pool but everything was just too far. The casino was only three miles away and that is where I rented a scooter for getting around. Overall, staff was nice, the room was comfortable and the walk in shower was nice. The is no Concierge to help with luggage and luggage carts are minimal. This review only has some lower ratings because of being a handicapped traveler. If my ability were not an issue, this hotel would be sufficient.

1117715****We were visiting the school, and this was the worst hotel with terrible service! I booked a king-size bed plus a sofa bed, which cost 300 yuan more than a standard room. However, the dark-skinned woman at the front desk was very unfriendly. When I got to the room, I found it was a standard room. I went downstairs to talk to her, and she was full of lies, saying they had upgraded us to two beds because the room I booked was no longer available. We immediately reported it to Ctrip, and another male front desk staff member changed our room. The service at this hotel is just awful! It doesn't live up to Yale's reputation!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the school, the environment is beautiful, there is a large garden behind, a few steps out is the small lake, the attitude of the service staff is also very friendly. I forgot to prepare pillows and blankets for the children who were studying in summer school. The manager not only helped me go to the supermarket to buy pillow blankets, but also drove me to school. Thank you very much!

LLU20172017I like this hotel very much. It is next to Yale University, with a great location and is very safe. The elderly receptionist who greeted us in the evening was very attentive and considerate, and the service was very good. It left us with a very good first impression of this city. The decoration is modern and stylish.
