"The room is large and clean. There is an airport transfer that needs to be reserved. The location is very convenient near the airport. The breakfast is not bad. If you don't have time to eat breakfast, there are small burgers to carry. The service staff is also good. No slippers and hot water, no bottled water, no toothbrush toiletries, the only drawback."

KKirus24Location is fine, but there are a lot of homeless people near hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really really good. The bad thing is that there is no free parking (they offer $59 valet parking which is super expensive). If you’re lucky you will find some free overnight parking spots near hotel (it’s free from 7pm to 8am). So I would recommend this hotel if you’re traveling without car.

GGuest UserAfter entering our extremely small room, which I found out was called a standard queen I immediately noticed long hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor, so obviously the bathroom wasn’t clean very well the baseboards, the floor, and just the overall appearance of the walls in the bathroom and in the room are just pretty beat up and well worn. The door knob on the outside of our hotel room was falling off and the TV did not work. When we came back to our room a few hours later the TV was indeed fixed. However, the brightness was on the lowest setting and I thought I could simply adjust it from the remote, however There was no settings that were accessible from the remote to alter the brightness of the picture so no tv that night as I didn’t want someone coming up to our hotel room at 10 PM. Just the overall feeling of the hotel room is very grungy. We were kept awake until midnight when I couldn’t take the noise coming from the neighbors and had to get up, get dressed, go pound on their door and ask them to keep it down. The noise and the slamming of doors all throughout the night is completely unbearable and there’s no chance of sleeping more than 1 to 2 hours at a time before being awakened by slamming doors or people talking so loudly in the hallways. The walls are paper, thin. The hotel lobby, where you can sit and have a drink or a meal is kept absolutely frigid. We just strongly believe for the price there are so many better options of a cleaner, quieter much better maintained hotel. It also appears that most of the servers at the Lobby bar or rooftop bar are so young and inexperienced  and ask the silliest questions and look so perplexed at the questions that they are asked that it lacks such professionalism. While none of them were rude, they were certainly inexperienced. This was our second time staying there thinking that a second visit would provide different results when in actuality the second visit was worse than the first. So that being said, I could not give this hotel a good review at all.

PPanigaleV4Location : This depends on the guest's purpose of visit, but mine was for business. Having said that, the nearby train rail which runs all day long including late-night and early-morning does not help (You can hear this from the entire hotel). There is a small pizzeria, which seems to be attracting the town's 'night-crowds', and you can hear their V8 muscle engine at late night, which also did not help (You only hear this from one side of the hotel). Other than those two noise issues, the hotel is located at a very quiet and calm part of the town neighboring to many business buildings. Cleanliness : It's been newly renovated not long ago and things are clean and tidy. However, the hotel only offers a light duvet so I pulled out the fleece like blanket from the closet and it had many strands of hair stuck to it. This was my second time staying here and I had this same experience the first time I stayed so it proves that the hotel does not wash these blankets. Service : Check-in & Check-out was smooth and staffs were friendly. Also, the room cleaning service was good. My only complaint is, that it does not offer a in-room slippers. I am fully aware of environmental issue regarding disposable products but this is only thing you really need from the hotel, and is very difficult to bring along &/ buy, when you are traveling. I completely agree with not offering tooth brush, hair comb, razor & etc. but I really wish and expect to be offered a pair of slippers from a premium brand hotel. I think Mariott is big enough to come up with a creative way to offer slippers to its guests for their comfort & conveniency, in a way that doesn't harm our environment. Facility : It has a nice lobby with large TV showing news or sports games. Offers a small snack bar with drinks. All clean and nice. Also has a fitness gym facility and a washing machine / laundry room. I only found out this time (2nd time staying here) but if I am back, I will be using them for sure.

LLydia LinThis hotel is very new, two elevators, and there are many rooms. I booked a personal room this time, and the space I think is just right and comfortable. Staff service attitude is very good. The lobby space is very large, very suitable for a leisurely stay; there are many breakfast options

Nnicole.wants.adventureI arrived to quite late to my booking. The front desk staff was courteous and even offered me a cookie when I checked in. My room was clean and orderly. There were a few stains in the carpet, but nothing too bad. The shower was amazing and had two shower head. There were plenty of outlets through out the room for all of my devices including next to the beds. The room also had a little couch coffee table, microwave, and mini fridge which was super nice. They did charge for the bottled water in the room though. I paid extra when I booked my room to have breakfast included, the breakfast was great. Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Eggs, and Waffles. They also had bagels and some items in the salad bar area but I didnt mess with any of that. Overall it was a pleasant stay. My only complaint would be related to the parking. There wasnt very many parking spots to begin with and the spots were super small. It made getting in and out of my car very difficult when parked. The hotel was super easy to find and was right off of I-5. However, I will warn you that the entrance is tucked around on the backside.

__M1861199****I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my personal belongings left in the refrigerator during my recent stay at your hotel. We stayed at Hilton Portland Downtown from December 23 to December 24, occupying Rooms 416 and 417. Upon checkout, a full box of prescription medications was accidentally left inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms. I want to be very clear about the nature of these items: The box was full and intact It contained injectable prescription medications, clearly medical in nature The medications were stored inside the refrigerator, not left out in the room These items were obviously not trash and are easy to identify as medical supplies Given these facts, I find it extremely concerning and unacceptable that: The items were apparently discarded or mishandled, and No attempt was made to contact me to confirm whether these medically critical items should be kept. At a minimum, I would expect hotel staff to recognize that refrigerated injectable medications are not garbage, and that such items require verification with the guest before disposal. The failure to do so reflects a serious lack of care and responsibility, especially considering the medical importance of these medications. These medications are essential for managing chronic health conditions, and their loss has caused significant distress and inconvenience. This situation could and should have been avoided with a simple phone call.

GGuest UserWe really like the corner room with city view that we got. It was clean, smell good, the windows are clean, able to see the city. The only thing that bothered us a little is the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed. We could literally hear anything coming out of other rooms lol. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming. The rooftop bar was cool and beautiful, the price is super reasonable - seemed to be short staffed though. The organization of the place wasn't great at all and the guy at the entrance checking ID wasn't nice, he looks like he doesn't want to be there. But overall, the hotel, the bar and most of the staff were really nice and welcoming :)))

GGuest UserOne word: Perfect ! Without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed without spending a LOT more money. I had a wonderful corner room with loads of light, amenities were outstanding: comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure, amenity kit (see pic), huge TV (which, unlike many hotels was easy to operate), sensible light switches, plenty of power outlets, inc USB on each side of the bed for phone charging, soft robes, excellent plunger coffee maker, fridge, in-room safe, etc etc. I honestly couldnt fault anything. Staff were very good. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I only wish I had more then 2 nights there. Wonderful stay.
