We’re one block from the Metropolitan Theatre and dozens of downtown Morgantown restaurants. West Virginia University is a five-minute walk from our hotel, and Mountaineer Field and WVU Coliseum are less than two miles away. Walk to PRT Walnut Station and Caperton Trail, just a couple minutes away.
"The hotel was nice. No microwave was disappointing. Also would have been nice if parking fees were known in advance."

To be honest, the foreigner is very simple, the room is large, and there is no problem for 3 people. The location is particularly beautiful, like a holiday in Foshan!

Guest UserWe stayed here after a football game in Morgantown. We tried to check in before the game, but since the other team stayed there the night before we were unable to due their late check-out. it was sort of annoying, but there was nothing the staff could really do. For their part, the staff were super nice, and we were able to change for the game in the hotel bathrooms which were very clean. The room was also very clean, but the cleaning staff left a cleaning rag on the bathroom floor. The bed was super comfortable. The room plenty big, and the bathroom was okay. Good water pressure. The breakfast was nothing special. It was just a regular buffet-style breakfast with a waffle maker, muffins, a few hot items, etc. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were kinda dry, and the eggs and Canadian bacon were not very good. The hotel is old, but you wouldn’t notice so much if the ceilings in the halls weren’t so short. They keep it up well, and they have replaced all the carpets. I would stay here again.

This is the most beautiful hotel on this American itinerary. The hotel is located on a beautiful hillside. When we checked in at night, we searched for the hotel for more than half an hour. The sign on the roadside was not obvious. It took a few laps to find it. You almost gave up.
I like the hotel's internal and external environment. A typical American hotel is the same as other American hotels. There is no kettle, toothbrush and toothpaste, and other facilities are good.
The lounge upstairs of the hotel lobby is very impressive, and there is a swimming pool next to it. There is a golf course in front of the hotel, a small lake behind, and many sika deer by the road at night.
If not in a hurry, I really want to stay in this hotel for another day!

Guest UserEnjoy the Managers reception and breakfast buffet. However the room we were assigned on was definitely in need of some TLC maintenance. Love that each room truly is a suite.This was a surprise as we had stayed a week before on a different level and everything was top notch. It was a holiday weekend and I am sure very busy so perhaps that is part of reason. Also,staffing may also account for a very limited and sometimes nonexistent buffet at managers reception. However , I choose to believe our stay the weekend before was more to standard of Embassy.

The room was somewhat clean. The window curtains had stains. The shower was supposed to be handicap accessible but it was not. The shower has no room to stand and shower so you have to set on the built in seat to bathe. Wheelchairs can’t roll into this shower so you’d have to lift the person into the shower. The breakfast was decent. Boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, donuts, bagels, OJ, cranberry and apple juice, sausage gravy and biscuits.

I was surprised at how nice the hotel room accommodations were. The rooms were excellent, roomy, the bar refrigerator was an extra large refrigerator, full sink and plenty of storage place. I didn’t realize that the hotel was Immediately next to the top of the Powder Monkey ski lift. Incredibly convenient to start your snowboarding day. We really appreciated the included breakfast which was pretty solid.

This was a great place to stop on our travels. The place was close to the highway and lots of restaurants to choose from. The place was nice and clean and the staff were friendly. Will stay here again

Guest UserThe place is the over price resort in West Virginia area. The food in the resort is very expensive. The Steak price is 39 dollar. They never clean the room when I stay for two days.They over charge my credit card. I already pay before. The hotel is the same level as the airport hotel in Mexico with the mountain. I don't suggest the place.
