Beach Hotels in Western Australia, Australia

I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, but I found this place to be a real gem. It's a bit far from the city center, but if you have a car, it's absolutely no problem. Parking is A$25 per night in the standard underground car park. You definitely need a car when visiting Western Australia. The hotel infrastructure is excellent; this setup would easily qualify as a five-star hotel back home. During the Southern Hemisphere summer, the indoor pool was closed, but the outdoor pool is accessible directly with your room key. You can ask the staff for directions. The beach is right downstairs, and you can spend a whole day there, just like the locals do. The ocean-view room was stunning; waking up to the sea view was amazing. The room was spacious and very clean upon check-in. However, the hotel is quite large, and the housekeeping on the second day was a bit slow; our room hadn't been cleaned by 4 PM when we returned, so we just grabbed fresh towels and skipped the cleaning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. This area is a lively hub. Every summer, Western Australia hosts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night markets, and Scarborough is where the Thursday night market takes place. The area around the hotel becomes incredibly vibrant, feeling like all of Perth has descended upon it. Downstairs, there are various restaurants, including a Thursday Special Steak deal, offering a 30% discount. A 300g steak for A$30-40 is an amazing and delightful deal. There's a Coles supermarket within a 5-minute walk, where everything is cheaper – anyone who's traveled to Australia will understand. Everything was so relaxing; I hope to come back soon.

The hotel's location is excellent. Busselton Jetty is just a short walk from the entrance, making it super convenient for train rides, fishing, swimming, diving, and watching the sunset. There's also a Woolworths a few hundred meters away, which is handy for stocking up on essentials. The hotel breakfast is very generous. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely 5 night stay here. Great location and wonderful rooms, very comfortable amenities, close to so much. Kids loved riding everywhere everyday and we had room by our cabin/tent to store all our gear. Breakfast was delicious, our favourite was the chia pudding! The only negative I have to say is we had noise most nights with young 20s/teens next to us on differing nights. Management was onto it pretty quick but seemed a shame to jeopardise 10/10 reviews by renting family tents to groups of young adults as it’s not really the best place to let loose when everyone can hear you (pretty offensive language and all!) and there are a lot of families around. Perhaps we got unlucky? But overall, a wonderful holiday, we will be back!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was good. The location across from the beach was great and also easy to walk around the main part of town. Lots of choices of places to eat within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The tent room I stayed in was quite interesting. The facilities inside were very complete and parking was convenient. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and the stay was very pleasant. I hope I will have the opportunity to come again next time.

The hotel room is spacy and the view is exceptional good. I arrived late (around 5pm), their reception nearly closed. Thus the whole registration is very rush and not explained clearly.

Centrally located and affordable motel. Perfect for those who are looking to visit the river/canal.
