Beach Hotels in Guangdong, China

This is my second time staying at Pullman Zhuhai! The location is fantastic, right in Fuhuali, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding commercial area is also very lively. The room offers panoramic views of the entire Fuhuali district.

I've stayed at two Sheratons in Zhanjiang, and this one in the city center is definitely much better in terms of conditions and environment than the Four Points by Sheraton in Wuchuan. The room is very spacious, facilities are complete, and the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is not only abundant but also delicious. Right across the street, you'll find the famous Jinshawan Seaview Corridor, where many people go for morning runs. I happened to catch the sunrise while jogging there in the morning, which put me in a great mood.

1. The hotel boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining options and a supermarket nearby. 2. It meets near five-star standards, with all the expected amenities. 3. Breakfast was abundant and met five-star standards. Even after closing at 10:30 AM, the staff remained very friendly, except for the noodle chef. 4. Parking was quite convenient; we parked on the ground during the Spring Festival. 5. It's very close to the beach, within walking distance, although we didn't spot any small crabs. We went to a beachcombing spot about 2 kilometers from the hotel, and renting an electric scooter made it very convenient. 6. During the Spring Festival, there were movies, arcade games, and claw machines available. 7. My child got to experience the off-road vehicle, afternoon tea, and Hilton's exclusive cookies for free. 8. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and everyone in Shanwei was wonderful, creating a great sense of happiness. 9. During the Spring Festival, there were fireworks on the beach, and fireworks were also sold in the city at reasonable prices. Just don't set them off too late, as police officers might advise you to stop. Drawbacks: 1. The lighting in the courtyard at night was too dim, especially in the front courtyard. With no doorman to guide parking, it felt a bit eerie late at night.

Highly recommend! This time, my husband, our child, and I came to Chimelong. We originally booked a queen bed room package at the Spaceship Hotel, but when we checked in, the front desk attendant offered us a complimentary upgrade to a Star Family Room, complete with welcome fruit. We were absolutely thrilled with this! 👍 The room was clean and tidy, with a small bedroom featuring a single bed, and outside, a large 2m x 2.2m queen bed. There was also a small tent. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was not cramped. It came equipped with a children's toilet seat and a step stool, and the children's toiletries were very comprehensive. The Sailor Buffet restaurant was huge, and the food selection was incredibly rich. The millet porridge and white porridge, which my child loves, were cooked thick and hearty, perfect for filling them up! 👍🏻 For adults, there were noodles, rice, wontons, various meats, and salads – everything you could want, and it all tasted fantastic! 👍🏻 The staff were very enthusiastic and charming, and they even gave us many small gifts: fridge magnets, puzzle boards, and badges! My child was so happy. In terms of activities: The main highlight for us was seeing four orcas in the Spaceship Park, one of which was a newborn baby cuddling next to its mother, with the father orca protecting them nearby! We also saw giant sea turtles, beluga whales, hammerhead sharks, great white sharks, gray whales, and white dolphins (there were so many, I might have forgotten which park we saw which in). At Ocean Kingdom, we saw the legendary whale sharks – they are super massive, and their white spots are their trademark. We also saw polar bears, arctic foxes, arctic wolves, Antarctic penguins, and emperor penguins. The emperor penguins are indeed much larger than other penguins. Ocean Kingdom also has many rides, like roller coasters, carousels, and flying chairs. There were so many that we were too tired to ride them all. The Ocean Kingdom park is quite spread out, so I recommend dedicating a full day to it. We spent most of the morning watching the Kaka Tiger show. There are tons of facilities at the Spaceship Hotel. We watched the Bermuda movie and went on the deep-sea submarine ride, both of which were excellent and definitely worth experiencing. Since Bermuda is an ocean area, when waves crashed, a mist sprayed on us, but we didn't get too wet, and there was a breeze. The experience was truly stunning. Overall, I highly recommend bringing young children here. I don't suggest a three-day, two-night trip; it can be a bit tiring and rushed. Four days and three nights would be perfect, as there's so much to do at the Spaceship Hotel, and it's all indoors, so you don't have to deal with the heat. Ocean Kingdom's attractions are outdoors, and pushing a stroller around all the different exhibits can be exhausting. I'd say one day for Ocean Kingdom, and the rest of the time for the Spaceship Park and the Kaka Tiger children's theater! Special note: Even in March, Zhuhai was already very hot, so remember to pack short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and long skirts for summer wear. However, definitely bring some thicker long-sleeved clothes, because the animal exhibits, especially at Ocean Kingdom, are freezing cold – they'll chill you to the bone! 😄 Also, make sure to bring sunscreen and a sun hat; it gets really hot.

My stay at Le Méridien Huizhou Xiaojing Bay was actually pretty good. I saw a lot of negative reviews and was hesitant about coming, but I decided to give it a try in the end. After all, nothing is perfect, and I wanted to experience it for myself. I chose to check in before the holiday to avoid the crowds, so the hotel wasn't at full capacity that day. They proactively upgraded my room and, during check-in, provided a detailed introduction to the fire dance performance and essential room and hotel information. Regarding the room, I stayed on the west side, near the pool and greenway. The sea view was fantastic. I saw many people debating whether the sea view was 180 degrees, even complaining and giving bad reviews over it. I honestly find that hard to understand. A vacation is about relaxing, enjoying the comfort and tranquility of the seaside, not obsessing over angles. The view was already spacious enough. Do you really need to be in the middle of the sea for it to be perfect, haha? The room was a bit humid, but I accepted it. If you choose to stay by the sea, you have to accept that with the current weather in Guangdong, it's like that everywhere, especially by the sea. The hotel staff were very friendly; everyone greeted me. Even the cleaning aunties said hello. Right outside the hotel is a commercial street that can meet basic needs, and the greenway is within walking distance – an excellent choice for a walk or bike ride 🚴♀️ in the morning or after dinner. Overall, the experience was quite good, not as exaggerated as many reviews suggested. Perhaps it's because I didn't go on a weekend or a holiday. Travel experiences are inherently personal, and only by feeling the sea breeze and sunshine can you create your own beautiful memories.

Our stay at the Shenzhen Jinshawan Kaisa Marriott Hotel was exceptional. The Marriott brand's high standards of service were evident in every staff member, from check-in to daily inquiries. Their warm, attentive, and prompt responses made us feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout, truly enhancing the vacation atmosphere. The hotel's private beach is right next to the property. While the sand isn't as fine and soft as Dameisha's, it's remarkably clean and quiet, with fewer crowds. It was perfect for the kids to dig, wade, and build sandcastles; they had an absolute blast, making it a great spot for a family beach outing. My only slight regret is that some children's activities are closed Monday through Friday, limiting options for younger kids. For full access to all the family facilities, I'd recommend visiting on a weekend. Compared to other similar sea-view hotels in Shenzhen, the number and variety of children's play facilities here are a bit limited and basic, which might not appeal as much to older children. However, the park next to the hotel is spacious, lush, and peaceful. It was lovely to take the kids for a post-dinner stroll, letting them run around and burn off energy while enjoying nature's greenery. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The sea views, service, and environment are all top-notch. It's perfectly suited for families looking for a short getaway and a relaxed beach vacation, especially if your main goal is casual sand play and unwinding. I definitely recommend it.

Hailing Island. This is the only five-star hotel on the island, and its location is absolutely superb. Visiting at this time of year truly feels like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms blooming.' Although it's been open for quite a few years, the hotel is still well-maintained. The garden environment is beautiful, and the room facilities feel pretty good too. From the balcony in the room, you can see the ocean, and even with the door closed, you can hear the sound of the waves. Listening to the faint sound of the waves at night, and with the very comfortable mattress and bedding on the large bed, I had an excellent rest. The hotel staff provided great service. After adding the butler on WeChat, responses were very quick. I requested a late check-out from the butler, and it was no problem at all. If I come back to Hailing Island again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

It is very convenient to get to Kanamachi Bay from the high-speed rail station. The hotel has a front desk that is easy to find. It is the off-season and the price/performance ratio is very high. The store also upgraded me to a sea view room. The bed in the room is very comfortable and the sound insulation is also very good. The service at the front desk and in the guest room is very good. If necessary, they will follow up promptly. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Kanamachi Bay.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to the Zhuhai Opera House, and my room window offered a direct view of it. Waking up to the sunrise 🌅 was incredibly therapeutic. It's super close to Lovers' Road, just a few minutes' walk to the beach, which was perfect for a relaxing evening stroll 😌. The room was clean and tidy, and well-equipped with all the amenities. The service was prompt and responsive. At just over 100 RMB per person, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Zhuhai!

The room was clean, tidy, and very modern. The front desk upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciate. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Waking up and just pressing a button for the curtains to automatically open, revealing such a beautiful view, made for a wonderful holiday.
