this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

Stayed at Lone Pine Hotel recently and loved my ground‑floor sea‑facing room. Super clean, comfy, and literally steps from the beach though it is fenced up to demarcate the hotel's grounds. Parking was easy, and the whole area is convenient — hawker stalls, beach bars, and convenience stores all within a short walk. Breakfast buffet was solid too, with a nice mix of local and Western stuff. Great way to start the day. Only complaint? The 3rd party water sports guys clutter the beachfront with equipment, and an excavator on the sand ruins the sea view. There was also an excavator parked on the beach, doing who‑knows‑what, which disrupted the otherwise serene beachfront setting. Despite these external issues, Lone Pine itself delivers a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I would return — hopefully with a clearer sea view next time.

Great service and a fantastic pool! The breakfast was good; I had lots of watermelon juice, and the jackfruit was already peeled, so I ate a big bowl every time. Excellent value for money, and you can have as much yogurt as you like. Sitting outside for photos was perfect. The bed, duvet, and pillows were all super comfortable, and the air conditioning was great too. There are many night markets nearby, a McDonald's, and lots of shows on the beach. The sunset was amazing!

Facilities: The in-room facilities are a bit old, but there are many great small details. For example, the clothesline in the bathtub, the drying rack on the balcony, and the night light. The air conditioning and fan in the room were super comfortable. Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was good, but some areas had dust. There was also a large dead cockroach on the balcony. Environment: A very beautiful hotel, the pool and lawn are stunning! Service: The front desk staff were very polite. The staff also helped with luggage. The restaurant staff were also very helpful; knowing we were rushing for our flight, they served our meal quickly.

The hotel environment is really nice, facing the sea, and you can enjoy the view while having breakfast downstairs. However, the facilities themselves are quite old. The hot water for showering at night was unstable, and the room lighting was a bit dim. For breakfast, they offer Western, Chinese, and Indian options, but the variety is quite limited. The night market downstairs is great, and there's a Lotus (supermarket/shopping center) about 500 meters away. Overall, dining options in the immediate vicinity are sparse. There's a bus stop about 300 meters away where you can catch the 101 bus, which takes about 40 minutes to reach the city center.

My children and I always enjoy staying at this hotel for several reasons: * The swimming pool and waterpark are excellent and very enjoyable. My children especially love that the pool is covered with a large canopy, which provides shade and keeps the area cool even during the hot afternoon. * The parking area is convenient and easily accessible. * The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, making every stay pleasant and hassle-free. * The hotel is located close to many restaurants and eateries, making it very convenient to find food at any time. * The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the menu changes daily, so there’s always something different to enjoy. Overall, this is one of our favourite hotels, and we always look forward to staying here whenever we have the opportunity. Highly recommended for families with children!

Nice view, cozy place..very comfortable, easy process during check in and check out..friendly staff, easy parking, got movies and sports channel which i think important especially during World Cup season..clean beach and pool..overall, worth the money to stay here..this is a 10th stay if i'm not mistaken and really happy when stayed here.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The check-in process was smooth and fast, which gave us a good first impression. The breakfast staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The food was decent, but it did not meet the standard I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I had requested a simple birthday celebration for my husband before our arrival and even reminded the hotel twice during our stay. Unfortunately, nothing was arranged, which was disappointing and made the special occasion feel overlooked. The room also needed better housekeeping, as cleanliness was below expectations for a hotel of this category. Overall, while the staff at breakfast were outstanding and check-in was efficient, the lack of attention to our special request and the room cleanliness left room for improvement.

Positive -have requested for a connecting room， and hotel arranged the connecting room for us. The buffer restaurant got a nice view, but not our room, Negative - we were allocated the room could see the opposite building closely, means other buildings could see us as well. No privacy at all. Rooms getting a bit dated The rubbish bin not clean up every day We haven't been notified there was a short renovation upstairs in the afternoon, we were taking rest at the hotel by that time. The worse is after we come back from dinner, the light at the corridor and in our room all dark. This is the first time I experienced all night off in my hotel room. The manager told me that because we switched off the main switch, and made both rooms light off. Do you think it is possible for us even turn off the corridor light and another room night? In fact, we never turn off the light.

We stayed for one night in the Superior Hill King Room and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located near the beach. From check-in to check-out, everything was quick and smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One thing that could be improved is the soundproofing. Our room was facing the main road, so we could hear traffic noise at night, which might be an issue for light sleepers. The bathroom was clean, but the standing shower area was quite small and didn't have a divider, so it felt a little cold while showering. The room also comes with an old-style bathtub. Parking is limited, so you may need to park at the building next door. However, the parking ticket can be validated at the front desk, which was convenient. A special thank you to the hotel staff for their honesty and prompt assistance. We checked out around 11:00 AM and later realized we had left our watch in the room. We contacted the hotel immediately, and within about 30 minutes they confirmed that they had found it. We really appreciate the team's quick response and helpful service. Overall, we had a comfortable stay, and despite a few minor issues, we would consider staying here again.
