Beach Hotels in Terengganu, Malaysia

The hotel is quite old. They should probably install a lift straight from the basement parking to the lobby. For those coming for their honeymoon, you can request this specific room. However, housekeeping was lacking,the coffee table was sticky with uncleaned coffee spills. The ironing board was super worn out and old, like no maintenance checks were done. Lucky it didn't fall on my feet!

This hotel has an absolutely fantastic location, making it super convenient to get around. It is clearly a very popular choice, as the hotel was quite busy and full of guests during my stay. The property is newly renovated and looks good, though I did notice a few pieces of furniture showing minor signs of wear. It wasn't anything major or bothersome, however. Overall, it is a solid place to stay, primarily because of the unbeatable location and fresh updates.

This island hotel is absolutely fantastic! The moment you open the window, you're greeted with a stunning sea view, and the beach is wonderfully soft and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. The seafood feast was fresh and delicious, offering excellent value for money. This vacation experience was perfect, and I'll definitely be back again!

Pros- The location is good and the environment of the outside resort is also good.also the beach view is stunning.as well as their breakfast also not bad. Cons - their room situation is very very bad. Need to renovate. So old furniture and everything inside the room.feels like it will break now.Also smelly.The door even the bed everything is half broken already. Even it was rusting inside. So I will say it’s not worth it with the price we paid for one night in this room.  Suggestion- your resort is big also attractive. Please do some renovations so you can attract more guests also can give them a better experience thank you.

The kids are so happy that they got the chance to participate in the releasing the baby turtle. The pool is big even with a crowd from the school holiday. We didnt take the breakfast because we wanted to eat local food. The room is clean with 2 single beds. We didnt put the sign to make the room on our door but when we get back, the room is tidied.

Tanjong Jara Resort is a beautiful and peaceful beachfront resort, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings are well maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive. The atmosphere is calm and authentic, making it a wonderful place to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and memorable stay.

Room is relatively clean. Beddings is fine. Lighting is too dark. AC cold good. Fridge is disgusting so we didn't use. Bathroom is horrible 😓 I booked 3 rooms all 3 shower head not in good condition. Please change the shower head! It doesn't cost you a bomb. The doors is disgusting. Feel so uncomfortable. We wash our hair at the pool shower area. There isn't any choice of food. Only the coffeehouse limited food. If wants to go to Long Beach for more choice of food will cost Rm50/per head boat. The only good experience is the employees all are superb professional, good manners, helpful.

The hotel having a lounge at Terengganu Airport is a huge plus! Upon arrival, the lounge staff were incredibly helpful and quickly arranged our transfer to the jetty. Once we reached the island and checked in, everything was meticulously organized, with staff collaborating efficiently to manage all our bookings. Saiful, the restaurant manager, thoughtfully added me on WeChat to arrange our themed dinner, which was a very nice touch – thumbs up! Our customer relations manager, Hamdan, followed up throughout our stay, assisting with activity arrangements, answering all our questions, and checking in daily to see how we were doing, making us feel right at home – another thumbs up! Finally, I have to mention the fantastic location of The Taaras! The private beach view from our cliff suite was absolutely stunning! The room was spacious and well-laid out; our whole family loved it! With all the facilities at the hotel, there's no chance of getting bored. A tip for future visitors: the hotel has its own private airstrip on the island. Next time we come to Redang, we can fly directly from Kuala Lumpur with Taaras Air, saving us the hassle of the boat journey! All in all, The Taaras is the top choice for Redang Island!

Overall experience 7/10. Understandable that the chalet is quite old but maybe can change the mattress, sofa to a new one already. The smell of the room also quite bad but the aircond super cold which a plus for this trop knowing a HOT weather in Terengganu lately.

First of all the location is very strategic.My view is pantai.sangat cantik.. i book 2 deluxe room, for my small family and parents. Bilik parents takde tuala ,even remote tv takde. I call reception ＞5 times,they do answered finally and send to towel. Lambat sikit but still okay.. but but but When i went into my room,the amenties cukup..when i tried to lay down on bed.. ada blood stained😭. I called again receptionist ＞10 times yer..tak angkat. So turun bawah complained within 30 min, tukar bedsheet. Sy tak boleh brain mcm mana boleh ada blood stained.parking itself takde ,ada basement and floor 1-2 shj utk park,memang park jelah merata. Other than that,mknn bnyk cuma tawar sikit haha,tp kenyang dan variety.love it, toilet bersih,aircond mantul,tv semua channel lancar.. sekian my review. Would i repeat again? Hmmmmm
