Beach Hotels in Chon Buri Province, Thailand

I wish I found this hotel earlier! If you get ocean view it’s absolutely incredible, but you also can’t be disappointed with the city side especially if you’re on a high floor (you can see all the city lights). The room was small but perfect, I had a large patio/a bath/AC/sink/fridge: you don’t need much else as a solo traveller. Ladies and gentlemen I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Also don’t forget the check the incredible pool are and the DIB rooftop bar!

The shuttle services helps to relieve the problem of location. The sunsets view of the swimming pool is attractive. The staff services are helpful in fixing any problems happened in the room. There may be a chicken farm nearby the hotel. You can hear their crow clearly from everyday evening to morning.

I stayed here twice a year before COVID and have now returned after the renovation. We stayed in a twin room, which was nice and satisfactory. However, the service at this hotel is drastically different from what it was before and has unfortunately become quite poor. Upon checking in, I was instructed to download their app to request ongoing services. After checking in, I purchased credits (referred to as Free Money / Bath Bonanza) through the app, but I still had to go down to the check-in counter to complete the payment before placing an order for in-room dining, which felt ridiculous. Why didn’t they reintroduce the credit program at the check-in counter like before? Regarding the spa, the app listed some discounted packages. When I called the spa to confirm whether I could book a Thai massage for THB 1400 without using my credits (the original price would be charged if I applied credits), they assured me that I could. When I asked if I should book through the app next, they told me they could make the booking over the phone right then. However, after my treatment, my husband was charged THB 1800 instead of THB 1400 and was informed that the discounted rate was only available through the app. Additionally, many staff members seem to have limited English proficiency, which complicated communication. It was not like this before! I booked a spa appointment for the next day at 10 AM and was told to arrive early. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment but couldn't find any staff there, and the reception didn’t open until 10 AM! After the spa, I was led to the outdoor resting area, but there was construction on a wooden bridge nearby, with hammering sounds and a burning smell! We were also disappointed with the breakfast options. There were no noodles in hot soup or traditional Thai dishes, which felt quite lackluster. The in-room dining also disappointed us. The Pad Thai I ordered was terribly salty! After the meal, the staff came to collect the dishes but left the table messy without wiping it down. On Christmas Eve, we had dinner at The Coast. It was advertised as a Christmas dinner with a live band, but it turned out to be a guitar and violin duo playing a few Chinese songs. I felt like it was a mid-autumn festival instead. My child and I arrived at the restaurant first, and I asked the staff to hold our dishes as we wanted to wait for my husband. They agreed but then served my child and me the salad starter immediately! Once my husband arrived, we had to chase them three times to serve him the starter. Additionally, I had to ask twice for a drink menu! To top it off, we were charged THB 1900 each for a main course that included only one slice of beef Wellington! We spent a total of THB 5900 for the three of us and ended up with a watery mango milkshake! Overall, it seems that the renovation did not extend to service quality, and the changes haveu significantly detracted from my experience.

The hotel itself is good and the cleaning is excellent, making the room every day if you wish.I liked the style of the rooms with the appearance of concrete finish style. Is.a good decoration. Also, the room is very well illuminated with the balcony. Excelent Air conditioning. Good car park if you're renting a car or motorbike. The staff is ok, but they should be more polite with the customers. Just one lady,the manager, I think, was the only one who said Hi or Good Morning. The other ones really don't care about you. The location is what really was the downside for me. It's about 20 to 25 minutes away , and almost where everything happens. So,you need to have permanent transport to go up and down. I rented a motorbike which I used during the day but I prefer to take a motor taxi to go out at night for dinner and drinks. Nevertheless, if you're a windsurfing lover, this is your place. There's a nice beach for surfing just a walk distance. But not really for chill out as is too windy for that. You can find shops renting surfing and wind surfing equipment. Another good thing is ,just that in front of the hotel, there's a lady who has a street food shop and sells delicious food very cheaply. Also, you can find a coffee shop not far from the hotel. Everything was good except for the new rule that you have to pay 100 baht/person to use the pool near Fat Coco and 200 baht/person to use the sauna. These two amenities used to be free of charge. I think it would be better to just factor in these fees into the hotel room rates.

It is a quiet place, offering some respite from the hustle and bustle of the city proper, which is only a 10 minute motorbike (or taxi) ride away. However, there are some caveats. The hotel itself is gigantic and feels like a small town with its hundreds of rooms on 7 floors. It was built quite some time ago, and it shows. The bathroom feels really dated, and the AC, in particular, was way too loud for a quiet night. On top of that, someone thought it was a great idea to conduct maintenance work at 9 a.m. The beds, however, are super comfortable, the pool area is great, as is the on-site cafe. So, really a mixed bag. The price is certainly right, so perhaps you should check it out and decide for yourself.

Overall it was a mixed experience. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. It’s conveniently close to eateries, bars, and spas, making it easy to explore the vibrant atmosphere of Pattaya. If location is your priority, this hotel has you covered. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. Their positive attitude definitely added to the stay. The room itself was decent but had some issues. On the positive side, it was in a great spot within the hotel, offering easy access to nearby attractions. However, I did encounter a cockroach in the room, which was disappointing. It’s something the hotel management should address to ensure a better experience for future guests. Additionally, while the TV and phone in the room were not working, this wasn’t a major concern for me as I didn’t need them much. Still, for those who rely on these amenities, it could be a letdown. The breakfast was just okay — not bad, but also not memorable. There’s room for improvement, especially if they want to offer guests a more satisfying start to their day.

We had a great stay in Amari. From check in to check out, the staffs were generally friendly. A good spread for breakfast. Buggy will bring you to Ozo which is a short walk to Terminal 21. Kids well entertained with kids club, playground, aqua park, & swivel car. Pattaya beach is just across the road & Chinatown is also nearby. Room is clean & good size.

It's okay. There are older and newer buildings; I came to the older one. For some reason, a passport is not enough for check-in; they require seeing the reservation. I think this is the first time I've seen this happen, and it was rather annoying. I wasn't prepared for that, so it took some time to find it in all the emails. I got the older house, which was fine anyway. Luckily, the neighbors weren’t very noisy. My room was on the 3rd floor and in the middle, so there was no noise from the roads or nearby bars. A huge downside is the new lights they just installed. The bright light at night feels like a constant flashlight, which makes it very uncomfortable to sit on the balcony in the evening. It’s super bright and super annoying. It might not be a problem if you're in the new building or on higher floors. There was also karaoke night first day, which sound came thru from downstairs. That noise ended 21:00, so no problem there. Breakfast was very very nice, lots of choises. Lots of greens too, which usually missing everywhere. Make your omelet, have pancakes, soups, fruits, etc. 8/10 I would say.

The employees are nice, smiling, provide very good service, the beach is clean, but the breakfast line is a little small. But overall it's good.

I brought my daughter to Pattaya to participate in the Asia-Pacific Women's Amateur Championship. I came here early to stay and practice. Because the conference hotel is nearby, it is very comfortable and leisurely. It is a great resort. The only drawback is that there is no laundry room. If you want to do laundry, you need to call a car. You can wash outside. The beach here is beautiful at dusk. The restaurant is delicious and overlooks the beach. There are singers singing on weekends. I will choose this restaurant next time I come to Wai.

It was great! Honestly i dont like Pattaya as it is very dirty. But this hotel was my best choice! I celt myself like on islands. Staff great! And client-oriented I am so happy ! Highly recommend!

Clean rooms, beautiful sea, delicious breakfast. The rooms are clean, the sea is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious. Most importantly, we accept dogs. We also accept dogs. But the price is a bit high.
