I’m very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—exactly what you need for a relaxing trip. Breakfast exceeded expectations with lots of choices and a different food selection each morning, so it never got boring.
The location is convenient, making it easy to get around. What really stood out were the little surprises: complimentary snacks and an eye mask delivered to our room—such a nice touch.
Even after checkout, the service remained top-notch. When we noticed all the sofas in the lobby were occupied, the front desk kindly brought us to the VIP lounge to rest. That kind of attentiveness is rare and much appreciated.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who values comfort, variety, and genuine hospitality.

Highly recommend this hotel!
1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle!
2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel!
3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea.
4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.
The hotel feels a bit dated, but the location is excellent. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer an unobstructed view of Yuandang Lake. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the noodle station. The clear noodle soup mixed with meat sauce was absolutely delicious.

I chose this hotel for my business trip and my experience was absolutely fantastic! The room layout was very well-designed; the work area was spacious, making it super convenient to get work done. The bedding and sofa in the lounge area were also very comfortable, allowing me to relax quickly after work. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with stable hot water and good water pressure, perfect for a relaxing bath to unwind after a long day. The front desk and room service were very responsive, and check-in and check-out were efficient, causing no delays to my schedule. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained with great attention to detail. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for future business trips.

An absolutely fantastic stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou, and a special shout-out to Cynthia!
My recent stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou, was an incredible experience from start to finish. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel in Fuzhou, with impeccable hardware and service. I particularly want to give a personal commendation to Ms. Cynthia, the lobby manager, whose warm service genuinely enhanced my entire stay!
The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the city. What impressed me most, though, was the service. I felt completely at home and cared for throughout my stay, especially thanks to Cynthia from guest services, who was both professional and thoughtful. Before check-in, she proactively communicated with me to understand my needs and arranged the room perfectly. During check-in, she was enthusiastic, thorough, and patient, taking the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and provide tips for exploring Fuzhou. Throughout my stay, she consistently checked in on my experience, promptly responded to all my requests, thoughtfully replenished amenities, and even brought special tea and snacks. She even remembered our preferences, offering personalized service. Her gentle and professional demeanor made us feel incredibly comfortable.
Shangri-La Fuzhou truly demonstrates the quality of a five-star hotel, and Cynthia's heartwarming service added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. The entire experience was flawless. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the city!

We chose a suite because we were traveling with elderly parents, and we were truly satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a view of the entire West Lake Grand Park. Accessing the park was also very convenient; we could just swipe our room card right next to the hotel without having to go the long way around. Plus, the suite allowed us to enjoy afternoon tea and happy hour at the 21st-floor executive lounge, which my parents absolutely loved. Another major perk is that the hotel's location is incredibly convenient for getting to Sanfang Qixiang, Shangxiahang, and Yantaishan – whether by subway or taxi.

Facilities: Very complete and convenient.
Cleanliness: Very clean, not a speck of dust.
Environment: The room I booked was very spacious and comfortable. There was enough space for two large 28-inch suitcases.
Service: The hotel offers latex pillows and a wake-up service. There's even a clothes drying rack above the bathtub in the room.
The location is very close to Jinjiang Airport, making it super convenient for early flights or layovers. The lobby design is distinctive, and the spiral staircase is perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a bathtub and a mini-bar, and all the amenities you need. The hotel also has a laundry room, a gym, and a rich variety of options for the self-service breakfast. Overall, it's clean and tidy, with attentive service. It's suitable for both layovers and short trips, highly recommended.

The room had hand soap and laundry detergent, which was a nice touch. It's really close to the subway station – you just cross the street after exiting, which is super convenient. The room was also pretty quiet at night. However, I found the breakfast to be just okay, not much variety. Also, the tissue paper in the room wasn't individually wrapped, and when we told housekeeping we ran out, they just brought us a stack of loose tissues.

Service: The service was incredibly attentive and efficient. They were very quick to respond to requests, definitely a five-star experience.
Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful.
Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though.
Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.

SShizuoyoushangNestled in Wuyuan Bay, The Seven Villa Hotel Xiamen exceeded all my expectations. Its design beautifully marries Minnan culture with modern minimalism, featuring handcrafted terracotta tiles, traditional Chinese corridors, and reflective water features, all exuding a sophisticated elegance. The guest rooms are fully equipped: the mattress and bedding are incredibly comfortable and skin-friendly, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the heated bathroom adds to the unparalleled comfort. The service was exemplary; my butler, Molly, was incredibly responsive, anticipated my needs proactively, and provided thoughtful courtesies, making my stay truly exceptional. The service felt like a gentle breeze, with meticulous butler-style care, and the turndown service with a nightly drink and sleep spray added an extra touch of warmth. With an infinity pool, hot stone spa, and sunset cocktails at the Long Bar, the hotel offers abundant amenities, making it easy to stay in and fully immerse yourself. It truly delivers a luxurious experience for both body and mind. Highly recommended when visiting Xiamen!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location in Sanfang Qixiang is golden; it's incredibly convenient to visit the 'Love Tree' and other historical blocks. The hotel itself is charmingly antique, with unique and tasteful decor that perfectly captures traditional Chinese aesthetics. From the design of the main entrance to the rockery and pond in the central courtyard, and the elegant ambiance of the rooms, everything complements each other beautifully. Sisters who love taking photos will find plenty of picture-perfect spots.
First, a big thank you to the greeters at the main entrance. When we arrived on the main street outside the hotel on April 1st afternoon, it was raining slightly. A concierge was waiting for us at the street corner, helping us with our luggage – it was such a warm gesture. I had booked two twin rooms on the platform but forgot to include breakfast. The front desk staff member was very helpful and got me the best possible price. Overall, the service was excellent, and all the staff were very enthusiastic.
The complimentary dinner at the hotel was delicious. Traditional Laohua, peanut soup, and other small snacks all had distinct local flavors. We also ordered lychee pork and 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall,' which were very good. Breakfast was also rich and varied; we had rouyan fish balls, oyster cakes, and qingtuan (green rice balls). Additionally, the complimentary afternoon tea, with its plum wine, was excellent!
Our three-day, two-night stay was, overall, very pleasant. I would suggest that the hotel consider upgrading some of its facilities, as a few are a bit outdated (for example, the rubber seal on the shower door was peeling off). It would also be great to have a safe in the room.
Thank you, Shuxiang Wenru Hotel, for providing us with such wonderful memories.
SSansanyisiyiTraveling with my family of three, including a one-year-old baby who's a very light sleeper and used to having his own room, we opted for a suite. The suite's layout here is excellent, featuring two bathrooms and two separate entrances. This was perfect because even when the baby was asleep, we could use the bathroom or someone could pop out for a takeaway without disturbing him at all. 😂
The staff at the kids' club, executive lounge, downstairs restaurant, and lobby were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Our butler even contacted us beforehand to arrange baby amenities. The beach is also very close (though it was too hot, so we only made a quick visit 😄), and there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be the location; it's about a 30-minute drive to Zhongshan Road, Ba Shi Market, and Dongdu Pier. However, the surroundings are very peaceful, and my family and I personally prefer a quiet accommodation environment.

GGuest UserThe most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my trip to Fuzhou! It's super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Sanfang Qixiang, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The room comes with its own Yuanmai hot spring, perfect for soaking away all your fatigue. The French-style decor is simple yet elegant, the bedding is soft, and the facilities are smart. Housekeeping is meticulous, and the service is warm and responsive. The rooftop restaurant offers a rich breakfast spread, and there's a gym and self-service laundry room available. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou!
TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight.
I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect.
The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!
DdemonstratedI brought my mom to Gulangyu Island and chose the Lin Family Mansion Hotel, and it was definitely the right choice. The hotel itself is a century-old building with a lot of charm; even just strolling around the courtyard feels like visiting a tourist attraction. The biggest surprise was that the hotel provided free cheongsams for photos, and even printed them out as souvenirs. I took quite a few photos myself; the old building paired with the cheongsams made for fantastic pictures, and my mom was overjoyed wearing them, saying the trip was perfect. The service was also very thoughtful; the driver saw my mom carrying a bag and offered to help carry it. The rooms were clean and the environment was quiet, making it a great place to stay with elders. I especially want to praise the Lin Family Banquet Hall. I originally just wanted to eat at the hotel for convenience, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise on the trip. As someone from Guangdong, I'm quite sensitive to the freshness of ingredients, and the baby squid with yellow peppers was incredibly fresh, and the soup was perfectly cooked. The chef even came out to introduce the dishes and we chatted for a bit; you could feel his dedication. When traveling with my mom, I'm most afraid of making a bad choice, but this time, from the accommodation to the food, everything was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm on Gulangyu Island.
GGuest UserA day before our arrival, the housekeeper sent us a detailed message with all sorts of tips and information. They covered everything, even asking if we were traveling with children so they could prepare special toiletries and toys for them. The swimming pool had free water guns and kayaks, and the lobby offered free Hanfu for photo ops. When I arrived, I saw a lovely young lady waiting for us in the parking lot – it turned out to be Xiao Shi, who I had been communicating with. This seemingly delicate girl actually helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. What's more, when my sister left her cosmetics in the room, Xiao Shi contacted me immediately and even delivered them to our door! Such a dedicated personal butler definitely deserves a bonus! Thank you, Xiao Shi!
JJ XuLijiazhuang Hotel is hidden in a quiet corner of Gulangyu Island, with a clean and elegant environment and a perfect geographical location. Its historical atmosphere and architectural beauty interweave a restrained and rich aura, which is impressive.
The room we stayed in was warm and elegant, and it was one of my favorite spaces on this trip.
The service is even more exemplary. The housekeepers Xiao Chen and Xiao Wang are thoughtful and patient, and respond quickly, truly achieving ”details are service”.
Such a hotel with great care and full of emotions, with good user experience and a deep reputation foundation, fully has the sustainable advantage of leveraging trust and building long-term customer assets.
The future is promising. Bravo!

JJujudaiwowanThe service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She added WeChat and responded to any questions in time. Because it was booked on short notice, the price would be slightly higher than some group buying platforms. I stayed in a garden twin room, but I could see the sea from the side of the balcony. The room was pretty good. It has been open for about seven or eight years, right? It's a little old, but it's still the best hotel in this area. Many people who come here to stay are family outings. You can borrow bicycles and kites to play at the beach, but the weather is hot and you can't play for too long. The hotel doesn't have any indoor entertainment activities or public swimming pools to play in the water. Fortunately, a small tent painting set was given so that you can kill time in the room. It would be even better if more children's play facilities were added! There is a coastal defense park nearby, and you can also go to the Senqiu Farm on Shuangyu Island to feed the small animals. If you are a little further away, you can drive 20 minutes to Shima to eat and eat. The two-day and one-night itinerary is just right. 👻
