Service: The service was incredibly attentive and efficient. They were very quick to respond to requests, definitely a five-star experience.
Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful.
Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though.
Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.

This hotel is located right by West Lake, offering unbeatable views of the lake and mountains. I really appreciate the classic feel of this older hotel. The breakfast selection is extensive, and as a tourist, I found the Fuzhou specialty snacks to be authentically delicious, which my child thoroughly enjoyed.
Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful, polite, and enthusiastic. Staff members always greeted us when passing by. They also took into careful consideration our needs when assigning a room, knowing we were traveling with a child and elderly parents. When I had a minor scrape from an electric scooter outside, the hotel even provided iodine and Yunnan Baiyao. What's more, the Yunnan Baiyao was brand new, and they even removed the plastic packaging for me – impeccable attention to detail! When I went to concierge to pick up our takeout, the staff even pointed out which items had just arrived, giving me a 'clue.' Haha. All in all, highly recommended! If I ever come to Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here.

Choosing Shangri-La for our trip to Fuzhou with the baby was absolutely the best decision! The location is unbeatable; it's super convenient for getting anywhere we wanted to go, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby for easy foodie exploration. The hotel is a bit older, so some of the facilities show their age, but it didn't impact our stay at all. The room was also free of any strange odors. Our dedicated concierge, Cynthia, was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and always responded quickly. Since we were traveling with a child, she proactively arranged everything from bed rails and children's amenities to bedtime sweet soup. There were even welcome gifts for the little one and homemade hotel cookies! One day, after our baby went swimming, we asked Cynthia to arrange some brown sugar ginger tea, and she had it delivered in no time. The hotel breakfast was delicious too. Right next door is a mall with a 'Yabao Paradise' that our baby loved so much, he didn't want to leave. The Jiangnan Zao restaurant there was also fantastic. Aside from the uncooperative weather, everything about this trip was perfect and comfortable. A huge thank you to Cynthia! Next time we're in Fuzhou, Shangri-La will definitely be our first choice again. As they say, an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari!

For my Quanzhou trip, I chose the InterContinental Taihe, initially drawn by its convenient location, close to all the main attractions.
I booked an Executive Suite, which included Executive Lounge access. The room offered simultaneous views of the Ferris wheel and Jinjiang Bridge – you could watch the tide come and go during the day, and the nighttime views were even more stunning. Right next door was the Maritime Silk Road Xunfeng Night Market, bustling with local life.
From check-in onwards, the staff's service was exceptional, especially Ms. Xiao Mao. Her service was consistently attentive and responsive to every request. The room key card was also very unique and made for a nice souvenir.
The breakfast is highly recommended; it featured almost every type of Quanzhou snack, allowing you to savor global delicacies without leaving the hotel. Western dishes, fruits, and regular breakfast items were also plentiful. It truly lives up to its reputation as a 'World City of Gastronomy,' and I can understand why international visitors also choose to stay here.

InterContinental Hotels have always been a trusted choice for me, whether I'm traveling for business or with family. If you're looking for cutting-edge design, InterContinental might not be your pick, but it consistently delivers a sense of reliability and comfort. I always get a good night's sleep here, and the service is consistently excellent. It's also conveniently located not too far from Sanfang Qixiang and Yantai Mountain. I'd definitely recommend staying here when you're in Fuzhou.

The room was fantastic, and they even gave the kids some arcade tokens, which they loved. The next morning, we went up to the Cloud Observation Deck. Even though the weather wasn't great and we missed the sunrise, we still got to see a beautiful panoramic view of Longyan city, which was pretty amazing. During the Chinese New Year, they also organized some intangible cultural heritage experiences, like making lacquer fans and woodblock prints. The kids had a blast and even learned something new! 😄😄
The breakfast was incredibly rich with lots of local specialties, and the taste was really authentic. They had both Chinese and Western options, highly recommend it!

I didn't expect this hotel to be so good, and now I understand why it received so many positive reviews.
First, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a courtyard family room, which was incredibly important. The south-facing room on the first floor was very warm, and being able to open a small door directly into the courtyard was lovely.
**Cleanliness**: The cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were new. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job; they even disinfected the tea set. Seeing that we enjoyed tea, they provided a large bottle of Nongfu Spring water.
**Environment**: The hotel is located right at the edge of Sanfang Qixiang, making it convenient for taxis. It's also very easy to walk to various attractions (Yan Fu's former residence, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Wenrufang, etc.). It's very quiet here, yet if you walk to the main street in the middle of Sanfang Qixiang at night, it's quite lively. About 100 meters away, on Yadao Alley, there's a Michelin Bib Gourmand 'Houjie Laohua' noodle shop that's open until 1 AM, which is very convenient. On the other side, walking towards Wenrufang, there's another Michelin-starred Min cuisine restaurant with excellent food. On the main street, the 'Tongli Rouyan' (meat swallows) is also delicious and served very quickly.
**Facilities**: The hotel's public areas are a suitable size with high ceilings. They offer various coffee, fruit tea, and hot beverages, plus some soft drinks and cold beverages (the 'Dasjie' olive juice is delicious). They also provide free postcards with stamps available. In the room, there's a box with several types of tea and a complete tea brewing set.
**Service**: The service was very thoughtful. We were satisfied from check-in onwards. Fresh fruit was delivered daily, and all drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. Since we couldn't wake up early enough for the buffet breakfast, I asked if the hotel could pack some for us to try. To my surprise, they agreed and even delivered it to our room on a small table! I felt a bit embarrassed, as I had only expected a takeaway box. When we checked out, the hotel butler presented us with a souvenir and helped carry our luggage to the car. (I specifically noted the butlers' name tags, which read Qin Yue and Zhang Xuan).
Later, I learned that the hotel's breakfast is vegetarian and it's called 'Sanbao,' suggesting it might be a hotel with Buddhist undertones. Staying here, I felt very peaceful, and the overall environment was wonderful.
This is truly a hotel that offers great value for money and is highly recommended.
I had a wonderful stay at Marco Polo Xiamen. The overall experience exceeded expectations, with excellent service and well-maintained facilities throughout the property.
A special highlight was the Club Lounge access. It truly elevated the stay, offering a comfortable environment, great food and beverage selections, and a more exclusive, relaxed atmosphere compared to the main areas of the hotel. It’s definitely worth opting for if you want a more premium experience.
I would also like to give special recognition to Betty, who provided exceptional service during my stay. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism and friendliness made a noticeable difference and added a personal touch to the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. Looking forward to staying here again.

Highly recommend. While the price isn't low, the experience is truly excellent. The cultural decor throughout the hotel is fantastic, with calligraphy by Su Shi and Huang Tingjian hanging in the rooms. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. It really gives off the vibe of a top-tier resort in Bali or Phuket.
The hotel's breakfast is okay, but not outstanding. Some items in the pastry section were quite good, even getting praise from a French guest, but there were also some defrosted items. The juice was truly subpar – very watery and I suspect they added sugar. Hope to see some improvement there.

Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find.

SShizuoyoushangNestled in Wuyuan Bay, The Seven Villa Hotel Xiamen exceeded all my expectations. Its design beautifully marries Minnan culture with modern minimalism, featuring handcrafted terracotta tiles, traditional Chinese corridors, and reflective water features, all exuding a sophisticated elegance. The guest rooms are fully equipped: the mattress and bedding are incredibly comfortable and skin-friendly, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the heated bathroom adds to the unparalleled comfort. The service was exemplary; my butler, Molly, was incredibly responsive, anticipated my needs proactively, and provided thoughtful courtesies, making my stay truly exceptional. The service felt like a gentle breeze, with meticulous butler-style care, and the turndown service with a nightly drink and sleep spray added an extra touch of warmth. With an infinity pool, hot stone spa, and sunset cocktails at the Long Bar, the hotel offers abundant amenities, making it easy to stay in and fully immerse yourself. It truly delivers a luxurious experience for both body and mind. Highly recommended when visiting Xiamen!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely stunning, right within a 5A scenic area! As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was amazed by the decor. There were so many lacquered artifacts, and shelves filled with books about Fuzhou's history and culture. The entire lobby was perfumed with the scent of Fuzhou jasmine tea! The room's style was also very classic, perfectly complementing the surroundings. Even the toiletries were high-quality. Breakfast, served across the street, was also quite extensive! Upon check-out, they even gave me a tea souvenir. [Gift emoji] Highly recommend staying here! [Heart emoji]
MMushroom ShumOne of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! My daughter absolutely loved the NX Kids Club and had an amazing time at the hotel.
Front desk staff Yulia (小杨) was incredibly helpful. She arranged special meals for my 2-year-old daughter and assisted us with many requests.
The hotel is very close to the beach, and the rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff are extremely friendly, they would rush to help us with our luggage every time they saw us carrying too much. It was a truly remarkable stay. We will definitely stay here again next time!

XXuenaiWe spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another night and switched to a twin room without a bathtub, which was just as satisfying. The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable; even the window tracks were spotless. The restaurant staff remembered there were two of us, and when one person didn't show up, they proactively offered to pack breakfast for us. My mother doesn't eat seafood, so they specially prepared a noodle soup for her. The lovely lady at the front desk lent us a charger and even gave us a gift. One suggestion: adding another coffee machine would be great to avoid queues during breakfast.
TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight.
I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect.
The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!
AAijiajialaoshiAll the staff were very welcoming and attentive, and I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my stay. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance. The garden has a century-old camphor tree, and the welcome amenity of camphor essential oil for hand purification was a unique touch. If you like peace and quiet, you can relax in the record room on the third floor of the Octagonal Pavilion.
GGuest UserA day before our arrival, the housekeeper sent us a detailed message with all sorts of tips and information. They covered everything, even asking if we were traveling with children so they could prepare special toiletries and toys for them. The swimming pool had free water guns and kayaks, and the lobby offered free Hanfu for photo ops. When I arrived, I saw a lovely young lady waiting for us in the parking lot – it turned out to be Xiao Shi, who I had been communicating with. This seemingly delicate girl actually helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. What's more, when my sister left her cosmetics in the room, Xiao Shi contacted me immediately and even delivered them to our door! Such a dedicated personal butler definitely deserves a bonus! Thank you, Xiao Shi!
JJ XuLijiazhuang Hotel is hidden in a quiet corner of Gulangyu Island, with a clean and elegant environment and a perfect geographical location. Its historical atmosphere and architectural beauty interweave a restrained and rich aura, which is impressive.
The room we stayed in was warm and elegant, and it was one of my favorite spaces on this trip.
The service is even more exemplary. The housekeepers Xiao Chen and Xiao Wang are thoughtful and patient, and respond quickly, truly achieving ”details are service”.
Such a hotel with great care and full of emotions, with good user experience and a deep reputation foundation, fully has the sustainable advantage of leveraging trust and building long-term customer assets.
The future is promising. Bravo!
GGuest UserFacilities: Private bath to protect privacy

Environment: fresh air
Service: Breakfast is good
There are tables and chairs in the yard where you can make tea, which is very enjoyable
GGuest UserThe service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She added WeChat and responded to any questions in time. Because it was booked on short notice, the price would be slightly higher than some group buying platforms. I stayed in a garden twin room, but I could see the sea from the side of the balcony. The room was pretty good. It has been open for about seven or eight years, right? It's a little old, but it's still the best hotel in this area. Many people who come here to stay are family outings. You can borrow bicycles and kites to play at the beach, but the weather is hot and you can't play for too long. The hotel doesn't have any indoor entertainment activities or public swimming pools to play in the water. Fortunately, a small tent painting set was given so that you can kill time in the room. It would be even better if more children's play facilities were added! There is a coastal defense park nearby, and you can also go to the Senqiu Farm on Shuangyu Island to feed the small animals. If you are a little further away, you can drive 20 minutes to Shima to eat and eat. The two-day and one-night itinerary is just right. 👻
