This hotel is so gorgeous! The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed is big and fluffy. The location and the hotel grounds is just simply stunning! When you arrive, you'd be at awe! The staff are all so helpful and friendly. We stayed here for two nights as a family of 8! The kids enjoyed the breakfast and the access to the beautiful Chinese garden located within the hotel itself. It was also close to all the lovely attractions. Loved my stay here so much!

I booked Building 3, which I knew was older, but the price reflected that. What I was really after was the beautiful garden landscape of the state guesthouse! As expected, the facilities in Building 3 were quite dated. On the first night, when I drew the curtains, I found the sheer curtain was broken. I reported it, and they made up for it with breakfast. The service was still good, and I was too lazy to switch rooms. Then, when I tried to shower, both the showerhead and the handheld sprayer were leaking from the top and bottom, and the faucet was broken. I reported it, and they promptly moved me to a different room. The butler service was very responsive! However, in the new room, the bathroom walls were dirty, and the drain was backed up with standing water! Finally, I reported the situation again, and around 11 PM, the front desk manager upgraded us to a room in Building 18. Building 18's rooms are indeed much better, being newer – but it was quite a hassle to get there. We had breakfast in Building 18. I asked for a disposable cup to take a coffee to go, but they didn't have any disposable cups! If you're paying full price for this hotel with breakfast included, the breakfast is really quite mediocre, not many options. Compared to luxury hotels at a similar price point (thousands more), the breakfast was a bit disappointing (I didn't take pictures). Overall, the service and the recovery efforts were very good. The garden landscape of the state guesthouse is indeed fantastic. For those with a bigger budget, I'd recommend booking a room in the newly renovated or newly opened buildings.

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it. The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable. What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

Warmth at Jinling, a Home Away From Home – A Heartfelt Birthday Trip We recently brought our family to Nanjing, and chose the Jinling Hotel to celebrate my brother's birthday. What started as a simple travel plan turned into a cherished family memory, all thanks to the hotel's ubiquitous thoughtfulness and warmth. As an iconic and long-standing hotel in Nanjing, Jinling Hotel not only maintains its five-star quality but also exemplifies what it means to feel 'at home' through its meticulous attention to detail. Before our arrival, we only casually mentioned that the trip was for my brother's birthday. We never expected this small wish to be taken so seriously. The moment we opened our room door, the entire family was touched by what we saw: the room was adorned with warm balloons and flowers, and the elegant color scheme made it even more refined. The customized birthday decorations were tastefully understated, perfectly setting the celebratory mood. Coupled with the fresh birthday cake prepared by the hotel, its sweet aroma instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The room's design itself was a pleasant surprise – spacious and minimalist, without unnecessary clutter, yet utilizing the space perfectly. The soft bedding and thoughtful storage design made the living experience exceptionally comfortable for our family of four, allowing children to play and adults to relax without disturbance, creating a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was a culinary feast, fully satisfying our entire family's palate. The restaurant offered a rich variety of options, especially the diverse selection of local 'small carbs,' which were unforgettable: the Pig Skin Noodles had a rich broth and chewy noodles with abundant toppings; the Vermicelli Soup was fresh and savory, providing a comforting warmth with every spoonful; the famous Jinling Pork Buns lived up to their reputation, with thin, fluffy dough and a firm, juicy meat filling, full of authentic Jiangnan flavor; and the Pan-Fried Buns had a crispy bottom and thin skin, bursting with fragrant juices when bitten into. Each dish was made with quality ingredients and authentic flavors, allowing us to deeply appreciate the unique charm of Nanjing cuisine. If there was one minor suggestion, it would be to add more protein options like salmon and beef to the breakfast spread for a more balanced nutrition. The most commendable aspect was the impeccable service provided by Jinling Yashe K throughout our stay. Whenever we had any needs, contacting her via WeChat always resulted in an immediate response. From travel inquiries to adjustments in room details, she consistently anticipated our needs, proactively addressing issues efficiently, completely devoid of the usual formality of traditional hotel service. What was even more heartwarming was that during breakfast, she specially arranged for a colleague to deliver a souvenir to us. This unexpected surprise made our entire family feel valued and remembered. This 'attentive and heartfelt' service is truly the most captivating essence of Jinling Hotel. From the thoughtful room decor and the rich, delicious breakfast to the attentive service from Jinling Yashe K and all the staff, Jinling Hotel exemplifies high-quality service in every detail. Our stay far exceeded expectations. Whether for business trips or family vacations in the future, Jinling Hotel will be our first choice in Nanjing. We hope this warmth and dedication can bring a sense of belonging to even more travelers.

The most delightful surprise of my Suzhou trip was stumbling upon Anshe Hotel! Tucked away in Jianxin Lane, Gusu District, this hidden gem perfectly balances location, living experience, and value for money, making every trip effortless and pleasant. It's definitely my top choice for any future visits to Suzhou. The location is simply phenomenal, making getting around incredibly convenient! It's just a 2-minute walk from Exit 5 of Lindun Road subway station, so even with luggage, you won't have to go out of your way. Turn left out of the hotel, and in 3 minutes, you'll find yourself on Pingjiang Road's cobblestone alleys, perfect for catching the morning light before the crowds arrive, or enjoying a bowl of tangzhou (sweet porridge) accompanied by Pingtan storytelling in the evening. Turn right, and a 10-minute walk takes you directly to Guanqian Street, where you can easily find famous eateries like Yaba Shengjian and Lu Changxing noodles. The vibrant night market atmosphere is also right at your fingertips. Getting to Suzhou Museum and the Humble Administrator's Garden is also a breeze, just two subway stops away, eliminating any travel hassle. It truly allows for a ”step out and explore” kind of travel freedom.

The Crowne Plaza Suzhou is ideally located on the west bank of Jinji Lake, south of Modern Avenue, just across the street from landmarks like the Gate of the Orient and Suzhou Center Plaza, and right next to the Musical Fountain Square. Its unique cruise ship design is a real eye-catcher. From the east bank of Jinji Lake, you can see the 'Big Underpants' (Gate of the Orient) and the 'cruise ship' (Crowne Plaza) in the same frame, especially dazzling at night with all the lights. The hotel's service truly reflects the high standards of the IHG group: The night before check-in, a hotel representative called to confirm our reservation. Upon learning that our party included two seniors and one child, they specially noted our requests for early check-in and a twin room at the front desk and tried their best to accommodate them. Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room, which was very spacious. The two single beds, in particular, were wide enough for one adult and one child to comfortably share a bed without feeling cramped. The service throughout our stay was incredibly warm and attentive. The bellhop proactively helped with our luggage, and after checking in, the front desk staff kindly escorted us to the elevators. Learning that we had a boy with us, they even arranged for housekeeping to deliver a pair of children's slippers. The breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. The dining environment at Saint Saloon Western Restaurant was very bright and comfortable, and we were even able to sit at the 'bow' of the ship, enjoying the beautiful views of Jinji Lake while we ate. Guests also enjoy complimentary parking. After registering our license plate number at the front desk, driving in and out of the hotel multiple times was very smooth. Whether for a family vacation or a business trip to Suzhou, the Crowne Plaza Suzhou is an excellent choice.

Excellent location! The InterContinental Nanjing Greenland deserves a five-star rating! The transportation is incredibly convenient! It's a direct 5-minute walk from Gulou Station Exit 4A (Metro Lines 1/4), making it super easy to get to Xinjiekou and Xuanwu Lake. Perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I stayed in a high-floor lake view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Jinling City. Watching the city lights at night was absolutely magical. The bathroom amenities were exquisite, and the hygiene was impeccable. The front desk staff was warm and efficient, and the experience of being high up in the landmark tower was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing!

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time. The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding. Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.

Everything was top tier. From the check-in where I was upgraded to a river view room, the clean, spacious and inviting room to the service and superb breakfast. The view from the restaurant was amazing. This was my pre birthday trip and the Hyatt made it so special. I even got a slice to birthday cake. The lady at the front desk who checked me in spoke really good English and was so kind and caring and she’s also a Gemini 😁🎉 I would 100% recommend and come back here.

MMD2024This time, I stayed at Mo Keyuan from August 14th to 15th. When I was choosing a hotel, I was quite surprised to see Mo Keyuan had nothing but glowing reviews. After staying there, I realized that both its facilities and service are indeed exceptional. **Ambiance & Location:** In terms of its location, it's merely 50 meters from Pingjiang Road, and within comfortable walking distance of Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum. It's also nestled in the same alley as the famous Zhuo Lin Li Tang Zhou (a traditional dessert shop), just 20-30 meters away, and shares an adjacent alley with Couple's Retreat Garden. This geographical positioning is simply superb! The hotel itself is a numbered private garden with five interconnected courtyards, boasting exquisite rockeries, ponds, and bridges. Its design is incredibly intricate, offering distinct scenic views with every turn. Guanhuatang, a key hall, is the central room in the innermost of these five courtyards. The front desk is located in the first courtyard, exuding an antique charm. Upon entering the second courtyard, you're greeted by a misty, ethereal atmosphere, providing a refreshing coolness on hot days and adding a wonderful artistic touch. The third courtyard houses the banquet hall, while the fourth and fifth are dedicated to guest rooms. In reality, this compound is far more complex than it appears, with the unique asymmetrical structure typical of Suzhou gardens revealing many delightful surprises. **Cleanliness:** Everywhere I looked was impeccably clean. Unlike other Chinese courtyards I've stayed in, at Mo Keyuan, all areas (except guest rooms and staff offices) are openly accessible. Furthermore, the furniture inside is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, giving the impression that they are actively used daily. The rooms were subtly pre-scented with incense, and the bathrooms were also spotless. **Facilities:** Mo Keyuan boasts comprehensive facilities, offering both dining options and captivating Pingtan (Suzhou storytelling and ballad singing) performances. Guests can enjoy these performances for free, held in a charming small hall in the second courtyard, which serves as both a restaurant and a performance venue. The performance hall is very well-equipped, featuring background projection and automatic stage curtains, truly showing great attention to detail. Furthermore, before checking in, I was somewhat concerned about security. However, upon arrival, I found that the visitor and guest areas are effectively separated by access control, ensuring both privacy and safety. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. The butler was always ready to answer any questions and had an excellent, friendly attitude. Every staff member had a great service attitude and was remarkably patient. Due to a last-minute change in our itinerary, we only decided quite late that we wanted to have lunch at Mo Keyuan the next day. However, the butler arranged it perfectly, and we got to savor the Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish and Crab Roe Tofu we had hoped for. The hotel's shuttle service was even more convenient, saving us precious time and effort when visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, and Lion Grove Garden. We also had the pleasure of meeting the garden owner this time, who was very approachable and clearly poured their heart and soul into managing this exquisite garden. **Daily Pingtan Performance (2 Tickets):** The Pingtan performance was excellent. The young lady sang beautifully and spoke with such gentle grace; experiencing the 'Wu Nong Soft Language' (Suzhou dialect) live was truly delightful. The performance also included complimentary Biluochun tea and homemade mung bean cakes, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I'm extremely glad I chose Mo Keyuan this time. My only regret is not being able to stay an extra night to spend half a day simply wandering around the garden, sipping tea, watching the fish, and relaxing – that would have been utterly tranquil and perfect.

MM263314****The property was spotlessly clean, grand in scale, and beautifully decorated in a European style, making for a very comfortable stay. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which was much appreciated! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; they even sent up fresh fruit, which was a lovely gesture. The picturesque surroundings truly gave it a resort-like feel – absolutely fantastic! The local scenery is charming, and the location is excellent, being very close to the Lingshan Grand Buddha. We enjoyed comfortable amenities, stunning mountain views right outside, and wonderful fresh air. Taihu Lake is also just a short distance away, and the nights were wonderfully peaceful. Highly recommend this beautiful spot! Thank you so much!

The room has excellent office facilities, with comfortable desk and chair, and stable internet, making work incredibly efficient. The soundproofing is great; you can't hear any noise even in the corridor, ensuring a quiet environment for both work and rest. Check-out supports quick invoicing, the process is smooth, and the service is professional and efficient. It offers much better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. GGuest UserThe resort grounds are beautiful. The room was great with the outside tub. It was very far from town and we could not get a Didi to come there so we had to take a bus to go to splendid west lake. I booked a room that said it came with free flow mini bar, fishing, biking and entry into the wetlands. There was no minibar and when I asked, they brought us two bags of chips and sodas. This is not what I call free flow or a bar. I complained to trip and they eventually sent us a bottle of wine. I never received any info about the fishing or biking, even though I asked. There is no entry fee to the wetlands so I’m not sure why they put this as a perk. Also, the bar out front was closed and the lobby bar only had fruit beer. There was a sign with 20 drinks listed but everything was out. The restaurant was amazing and the most positive experience. Great food and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The restaurant had beverages but they do not open until 6 PM. I would not stay here again based on my experience.

YYuxiaodianooOBringing my daughter to Suzhou for a family trip, staying at the Shuxiang Fudie Pingjiang Mansion was incredibly worth it! We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a larger room, which was spacious and bright, giving my child plenty of space to play. They even thoughtfully provided kids' toiletries, an amazing touch. The hotel itself is a historic garden, with pavilions, flowing water, and lush greenery. My daughter loved chasing the koi in the courtyard, truly immersing herself in the elegant Suzhou style. It's only a 5-minute walk to Pingjiang Road, and the Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove Garden are also nearby, making it super convenient for kids. With its antique charm and attentive service, this family trip gets full marks!

YYutongI took my kids from Shanghai on the weekend and chose the Fairmont Yangcheng Lake, a family hotel near Shanghai. I received a call from the hotel's Gold Lounge manager one day in advance, who asked about check-in and needed to arrange it in advance. They provided butler service. After arriving at the hotel, I paid to upgrade to a lake view room with a private balcony and a wide view. The lake view was beautiful and the price-performance ratio was perfect. In addition, the hotel has a wide range of recreational activities, including kayaking, honey bee watching, handicrafts, pottery, etc. I also took my kids to experience honey bee watching on the second day. Under the patient guidance of Sister Ping, the children unlocked a new experience in life and were very happy. It was a very happy two days. I will come again next time!
