I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Hotel in Tirana, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hospitality provided by the staff was truly outstanding and made my stay incredibly enjoyable. First and foremost, I want to highlight the incredible friendliness and professionalism of the entire team. Andriane, from the restaurant, went above and beyond to ensure that every meal was perfect, always greeting guests with a warm smile and attentive service. The women at the reception desk were equally impressive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs, making the check-in and check-out process seamless and pleasant. The gentlemen at the rooftop bar deserve a special mention as well. Their courteous demeanor and excellent service added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evenings spent there. The food at Mercure Hotel is another standout feature. Every dish was delicious, well-prepared, and presented beautifully. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the culinary experience was consistently top-notch. Additionally, the hotel's amenities, particularly the swimming pool, were fantastic. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant city of Tirana. Overall, my stay at Mercure Hotel was marked by exceptional service, delicious food, and excellent facilities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tirana and looking for a place that truly understands the importance of hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

A disappointment!!! We booked and payed for one night in AS Tirana, in advance. Once we got there, at the check in, the reception staff told us we had to pay an extra fee which was composed by the city fee and mandatory fee: 20€/person/night. Honestly, this price does not make any sense. This is almost the price for one night! No receipt with the described fees were provided to us! In any moment this was informed in the reservation and this never happened before in any hotel in Albania. After some research on this, we noticed this already happened to other people and the values vary a lot. Watch out for this! Regarding the room, the hotel apparently have 4 starts, but the floor was lifted up due to water and there was only one blanket. The breakfast was super poor, with very few options. The existing options runned out very fast and we had to wait a lot of time for the food to be replaced. In terms of location, its a 25min walk from the city center and its not easy to find the hotel. The internet was good. Overall, not pleased with this choice, and due to the extra fees we are relieved that we only stayed one night! Suggestion for the hotel: include this on the price!

What a fabulous hotel, it's right next to the Eastern bus terminal. (Literally just below the hotel). It is 30 minutes from Tirana airport and the hotel arranged pick by taxi at a very reasonable cost. The hotel is only about five months old, so everything is very clean and fresh. The room was a good size, bright, very clean and well appointed. The large white bath towels were excellent. There is a shopping mall immediately next door with a supermarket, mobile phone shop (better to buy your sim card here than at the airport). There is also a selection of typical mall food outlets. Breakfast, was quite a spread with something for everyone. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Unlike typical hotels near a bus station, this one was exceptional in comparison. Credit card machine was not working, so we had to pay cash. (To be fair the staff tried repeatedly to get the card machine to work, my card worked everywhere else with no problem). In summary, excellent choice of hotel if you are arriving or departing from the airport and want to avoid going into the centre of Tirana. Equally perfect if you plan to use the Eastern bus terminal for onwards travel. Would happily recommend to family and friends.

We booked a room to ourselves so had separate toilet and shower. Nice room, although barely space to put stuff on but considering the price and location, still excellent value for money. Melissa and her sister (we'd assume she is your sister Melissa, so very sorry if we got it wrong) are very nice, Melissa answered our questions of how to get where and recommended a nice restaurant. No kettle in the room but downstairs kitchen is for shared use - you can borrow cutleries and mugs/glasses, just ensure they are returned promptly. I saw some residents using the cooker etc. to cook meals, but we didn't do that. Guess would be handy. Nowhere to hang up washing in our family room but again, you can borrow coat hangers and there is an airer in the garden, so all basic needs are sorted. All guests we had talked to were very friendly too. If anything during our stay that was a bit strange, may I just mention (politely), was the lady working at the breakfast, I did not get her name because we barely had any conversation with her (as we usually do naturally and pleasantly with other service staff, everywhere we visit), but from our first ever communication with her, we felt that she was not very approachable. We felt as if we were being scrutinised and the contact was just cold, with reflection, we couldn't think of anything that we had done wrong, and deemed ourselves good guests (like we already clean after ourselves and were always polite), and we did not eat a ridiculous amount of food compared to other guests we had observed (it's a breakfast buffet upon booking, right?), so we couldn't think of any reason why we felt the lady was not very willing to help us from our 1st morning in the kitchen (a big contrast to Melissa and her sister). Not sure if there was any miscommunication or simply personal bias, what bothered us more was the lady seemed a lot nicer to some other guests (and when I checked again the reviews, there were lots of nice mentions of the breakfast lady, which just made we feel even worse, though we were not sure if those were talking about the same lady), Anyway, I tried not to take it personal and we had no idea why it made us feel that way, but this was the only thing that made us feel uncomfortable during the stay, every thing else was very good, so overall, we should give a top score. The front desk staff were extremly helpful and assisted us with many adhoc requests and queries. I especially wanted to highlight the great job done by Daila, she was friendly and made our stay more memorable.

We had a wonderful staying at Troci Hotel! Everything was beyond perfect. Rooms were really clean and supplied with everything that was needed. Also, the hotel staff were so so polite and helped us with everything we’ve asked for. 5 stars also for the manager of the hotel, he was very hospitable and made our trip much more enjoyable by offering us tips on what to visit and best restaurants and even helped us with the transportation to Tirana. For sure we will return here!

A very modern hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always at the guest's disposal. Highlight the location close to the center of Tirana and the incredibly comfortable beds. Totally recommended if you want to visit Tirana at a great price.

Excellent structure, located in a very strategic and smart area. You sleep very well, perhaps the rooms could have an extra cabinet or table, but the soft choice isn't bad. Very technological and beautiful bathroom, the large shower was also very appreciated, finally a place where you can really adjust the air conditioning in an ergonomic and effective way. Very helpful staff, perhaps only the breakfast could be improved: it is held on the roof and on a scenographic level it is captivating, too bad it is not rich and that coffee at a surcharge of one euro is very out of place. The parking under the hotel is excellent, considering that there are continuous fines on the outside

I stayed here for 9 days. First of all, this is in a great location. Many of the city attractions including the Skanderbeg Square are within 20 min walking distance. There are lot of great restaurants near by including Opa Greek street food, Juvenilia.. Taxis are right across. There are currency exchanges close by as well. Also if you book any tours, this hotel can be selected as a pickup spot. Room was spacious. Only concern I had with the room was the floors were old and the wooden floors were coming off but this was only in room 6. Others seem to have newer floors. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately TV wasn’t working since there was an issue with the cable payment per the staff. Breakfast was good. Every day it changes but you always get croissant, Orange juice and coffee(Latte or Americano or Espresso etc.). Breakfast area also becomes a bar in the evening. Staff were wonderful. I had interactions with all of them. Very friendly people. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have visited many countries, and in hotels of all kinds, and at some point I have had to ask for ”late checkout” or what is the same ”late checkout” because my flight back home leaves very late that day. In this case I paid almost €600 for practically 2 nights, it was 3 nights, but the first night I arrived at the airport at 2 in the morning, that is, practically 2 nights, when in Albania hotels are very cheap, but I preferred to grab a Known chain just in case, AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A LATE CHECKOUT OF 2h because my flight left at 18:50 in the afternoon, THEY TOLD ME NOOOO, when the hotel was newly opened and was practically empty!!!!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY VERY BAD, I HAD TO BE WALKING AROUND TIRANA AND EAT SUPER LATE, TO BE ABLE TO MAKE TIME UNTIL 4:00 PM when I went to the airport. I THINK I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL? NO!!!!, I THINK OF GOING BACK??? NO!!!!, not only because of this, but because it is far from the center, the hotel's Terra restaurant is very expensive, and look, almost nothing surprises me, but the difference in prices compared to the rest of the city surprised me very much. We ordered some mini Iberian pork chops and an Angus rib and 2 waters to eat, and they charged us €135, when in the ERA restaurant, which is 50 meters from the hotel, TripAdvisor recommends it, and it cost us an exquisite risotto, and 2 Angus T-bone steaks of 1,200 grams with a garnish of mushrooms and vegetables, plus bread, plus 2 waters, plus a Pepsi max, EYE €53, crazy!!!! And everything was very good, so the prices of the hotel are not justified. Is the hotel nice? Yes!!!, is it comfortable??? Yes!!!, it is practically new, it was opened recently, but that does not give the right to be charged 5 times more for eating in its facilities, it is 1 and a half km or more from Skanderbeg square and everything there is What to visit in the capital of Albania. Thank you.

Very good location. Classic decor. Excellent proportioned rooms. All facilities seemed to be there. Very clean. Breakfast was very average. With so many choices nearby, don't automatically include it in booking. Though there was an exceptional heatwave, the roof top bar was very hot - need to find more ventilation/cooling as we really wanted to spend time there - especially as the staff were so good.

The staff were all very good, so no complaints at all with them. The hotel is covered in scaffolding, so you don't get a great view, and lots of building work is going on, but it didn't affect us, apart from the scaffolding. The hotel provides a kettle in your room, but not coffee and milk. Never mind, we had booked a gold room we thought, so entrance to the club lounge, for coffee, tea and soft drinks. unfortunately this week it wasn't available, use for private party. The fridge in the room actually made things in it warmer....? Breakfast on our first morning was nearly empty, with 2 hours left, I asked a the egg chef if they had any croissants/pastries, and he disappeared never to return, a waiter went to find out and came back with the answer, nothing was being restocked. The gym was excellent, but it's also for use for non residents, as is the superb outside pool, but at the weekend all sunbeds were took (by the outside guests I'm sure) And as we were in the pool on Monday, the girl came out and said it was closing for a private party, we mentioned we were guests that had booked the hotel and the pool was a big reason for that, she shrugged and said it was a late decision? Excellent national park behind the hotel with bars and restaurants and other attractions, and very safe to walk around. I will definitely return to Tirana, but not to this hotel (Photos of breakfast provided)

The location of the hotel is very good, but the facilities are old, the 24 square meters room is really cramped, the breakfast is not self-service, the service attitude is not mentioned, very good, but the price of more than one thousand is really too bad, the environment and facilities of the domestic express hotel are top hotels price

Fabulous staying experience, definitely coming back next time

beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
