In the evening, the sunset combined with the pink and purple flowering trees created picturesque, soothing scenes perfect for photos. Facilities like the hot springs, swimming pool, and mini-golf were all excellent, catering to both relaxation and active fun. However, Rosie, our concierge, was the real highlight! From pre-arrival communication to guiding us upon arrival and responding to our various needs throughout our stay, her service was consistently swift and attentive. She proactively recommended local activities, helped coordinate meal times, and even noticed our preference for a quiet corner, specially arranging a suitable table. Her attention to detail was truly touching. We were completely charmed by both the hotel's environment and Rosie's service. The value for money is outstanding. The actual reception area, at a minimum, should have a lobby greeter. For a hotel of this caliber, the basic welcoming and guidance were lacking, making it feel somewhat disorganized. Also, regarding the hotel's positioning, I always thought it was luxury, but my stay felt more business-oriented. In terms of service details, it even fell short of some Marriott or Hyatt business brands. The next day, I moved to Jumeirah, and the contrast was stark: concierge at the entrance, staff explaining all facilities and courtesies in detail during check-in, and you could contact guest services with any issues, whether at 10 PM or 6 AM, with very prompt responses. In summary, if you highly value a high-altitude view and are willing to tolerate other shortcomings for it, then you might consider this hotel. However, if you're looking for a luxury hotel experience and a comfortable, hassle-free stay, there are definitely better options at the same price point.

【A Joyful Christmas Holiday】InterContinental Dameisha: Our family, including our 2.5-year-old little one, came to Shenzhen for a vacation. Our toddler usually can't resist a sandy beach, and the hotel's private beach perfectly met her needs. Check-in: We arrived at the hotel at noon. Perhaps because it wasn't the weekend, we were able to check in early without waiting at the lobby. The front desk staff was very polite and provided accurate information. Considering we had a toddler, they arranged a room on the left side of the main building with a better view. Room: The room was a standard five-star hotel room, neither new nor old. The two 1.2-meter beds were pushed together, which was spacious enough for sleeping with a child. The sofas in the suite were ample, making it convenient to place luggage. The vanity counter opposite the bathroom was very practical. The bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. It was a bit windy at night, so our baby enjoyed a warm bath in the large tub before bed, which was very comforting. About Travel Photography: Our accommodation package included a complimentary travel photoshoot, which we scheduled for 5 PM the next day. The next morning was overcast and rainy, but luckily the sun came out at 4 PM. * The photographer was very professional and thoughtfully reminded us to start a bit earlier to ensure good lighting. The Cantonese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel had decent food, but it was expensive and not great value for money. Our accommodation package included a set meal at the hotel's Southeast Asian restaurant. The ingredients for the two-person set meal looked fresh, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot pot. We also ordered fried rice and seaweed soup for our toddler, which she loved. Activities and Amenities: * The outdoor pool looked great, and the shallow area had kayaks and other equipment for older children to enjoy. Little ones, however, could only play on the beach and dig in the sand. * On level B, to the left, there's an indoor swimming pool (the water temperature was suitable for adults). After swimming, you can immediately take a hot shower and use the sauna, which is very convenient. There's also a ball pit for babies to play in. To the right, next to the restaurant, there are some arcade games like a spinning chair and claw machines, which were quite appealing to our little one. * The beach is private to the hotel, clean, and not crowded, which was a big plus. * I peeked into the gym, and the equipment was well-maintained. Service: The staff members were all very friendly, greeting us when they saw us and proactively offering assistance. Seeing we had a child, they kindly offered extra bottles of water. We stayed on the 11th floor, and the floor attendant was very warm and lovely. I have no idea how such misleading rankings are generated, so it just goes to show you can't always trust what you read online; it's better to verify information through multiple channels. For example, if I had just called the front desk to ask if it was renovated in 2021, I probably wouldn't have booked it. I saw on the Trip.com app that it was renovated in 2021, so I believed it and booked a twin room for 1690. When I actually got to the hotel, I found it was quite old. It was too late in the evening to find another, better hotel. I spoke to a staff member who mentioned it had been open for 17 years (I couldn't verify this, it was just verbal). They really shouldn't put incorrect renovation dates on the app. For many people, a key criterion when booking a hotel is that it's been built or renovated within the last three to four years, as this usually reflects current design trends. They might try to explain that it was *partially* renovated in 2021, so they're playing a word game very cleverly. I won't comment on the price, as location and season can vary, but for an old-fashioned decor like this, the price is a bit high. This Ritz-Carlton is significantly different in detail from other properties of the same brand that have opened in the last four or five years. It's not that it's bad, it's just that the design standards from back then are quite dated. If you genuinely enjoy this so-called 'old money' style, then I guess it's fine for you. Objectively speaking, the cleanliness was good; I inspected the entire place, and it was spotless, and the service was also decent.

The hotel's semi-buffet breakfast and complimentary afternoon cold bar left a lasting impression on my taste buds. What truly stands out is the service, from the proactive bellhops to the front desk lady who escorted me to my room and explained the facilities – it all exemplifies the ultimate service philosophy of a luxury hotel. This time, I was particularly impressed by Luna at the front desk. From check-in to check-out, she helped coordinate rooms, reminded me to enjoy the bar's cold snacks, inquired about replenishing room amenities, and offered late check-out. Her proactive, warm, and appropriate service truly made me feel at home.

It's hard to imagine such personalized service in a buffet restaurant in this era of standardized management. You can truly taste a soulful, authentic flavor. 3. **Beverages:** I particularly loved the freshly squeezed juices here; the ingredients are fresh, I'd say hand-picked. Towards the end of breakfast, when the manager, Vivianna, learned that my favorite freshly squeezed carrot juice had run out, she quietly contacted the chef on duty and had the kitchen specially wash new carrots, juice them, and deliver it to my room. This experience was incredibly touching. Authentic and substantial review.

I went up to the 34th-floor lobby, and still, no one guided me. I finally found the front desk, where there were two half-empty welcome teas on the table. The staff member was expressionless and extremely cold. They didn't stand up or smile until I left, and then reminded me, 'If there are other guests, you must register them to prevent crime.' I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, as I've never heard it at The Peninsula or St. Regis. Okay, fine. In the evening, I went to the happy hour at the 71st-floor lobby lounge. There wasn't much food, which was fine. But still, zero service! No one showed me to a seat, no one greeted me. From the moment I sat down until I left, it felt like I was at a self-service buffet. There was one family celebrating a birthday who did receive greetings. I guess I just wasn't worthy. I went to the lobby with my luggage to check out. A lady came up and asked, 'Checking out?' I said yes, and then she asked, 'Have you already returned your room card to us?'???? 🤔 This is the first time in my life I've heard such a thing... What's up, do your room cards summon a dragon if you collect seven? I have a stack of cards from The Peninsula, and they don't win prizes, so I guess you're on a different level. I went back to pick up my stored luggage and accidentally lost the baggage tag. I cooperated by giving my room number and phone number, and was told I needed my ID, which I completely understood. I pulled it out and handed it to the concierge staff, but he wouldn't take it. I had to hold it with both hands for him to take a picture. Interesting. 😄 If you enjoy paying money to be tormented, come to Raffles! They'll give you seven-star humiliation!!! BTW, the food was also terrible.

The hotel is really nice, I love the decor—it's simple, modern, and has a great natural wood aesthetic. The front desk is on the 65th floor, and the suites are spacious, offering fantastic night views. Being so high up and close to the subway station makes getting around very convenient. I also really liked the design of the hallways. The facilities are quite new, very satisfied overall.

Service: I have to commend the service attitude; everyone from the front desk staff during check-in to the baggage handlers, restaurant servers, and cleaning staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. They even helped deliver food orders to our room, a service I haven't experienced at Rosewood or other hotels. When you're traveling, this emotional value really makes a difference.
