The best hotel in Baotou. The location is excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza, City Park, and a food street. The food at Xiang Palace is good and reasonably priced. The above-ground and underground parking lots are large enough and convenient for self-driving. The only drawback is that the path from the above-ground parking lot to the lobby is gravel, which is not luggage-friendly.

This hotel was incredibly comfortable, I have to rave about it! The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. The room had an expansive view from the window, overlooking high-rise buildings and a large screen that proudly declared 'I love Hohhot'. Just a short distance away were a food street, Dazhao Temple, and a shopping mall. Everything you could want for food and entertainment was right downstairs. When I got tired from exploring, I'd pop back to the room for a rest before heading out again. The room itself was very spacious, the bedding was spotless, and the mattress was perfectly comfortable – I slept wonderfully. All the toiletries were provided too. It was truly a treat to relax here. I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again; this beautiful and comfortable place truly adds to the charm of Hohhot.

I stayed at the Shangri-La during my May Day holiday trip to Hohhot. I was a bit worried beforehand about the hotel being older, but the reliable service exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent; it's a short walk to MixC Shopping Mall, and not far from Dazhao Temple and Saishang Old Street, making getting around very convenient. I stayed in an Executive Suite, which had a one-bedroom, one-living room layout. The separate living room and bedroom made for a spacious and bright environment, perfect for traveling with two kids. They had already arranged an extra bed for my older child and a cot for the younger one before we checked in. The most delightful surprise was how the hotel showcased the grassland culture everywhere. The lobby featured yurts and hada (ceremonial scarves) to welcome guests, and horse-themed artworks were visible throughout. You could even try on Mongolian robes for a free photo op, allowing us to experience the rich Inner Mongolian culture without even leaving the hotel. Breakfast also had a strong local flavor. There were freshly made lamb shaomai, authentic lamb offal soup, and Mongolian milk tea – all the local specialties you could wish for. The Executive Lounge offered soft drinks, snacks, and fruits all day. During happy hour, the light dinner included about six hot dishes, with main courses ranging from shaomai to pizza and sushi. The service, from the doorman to the cleaning staff, was warm and attentive. The swimming pool was heated, and the fitness facilities were well-equipped. As an established five-star hotel in Hohhot, it's well-maintained overall and highly recommended!

The room was a bit warm, so they upgraded us to a suite. The facilities were excellent and clean, and the surrounding area was very lively. The service was exceptional; the staff had a five-star hotel quality, being proactive and attentive. They even provided a vase for guests to display fresh flowers, which was a lovely touch.

The hotel's surroundings are very pleasant. There's a botanical garden right next door where the hostas were recently in full bloom, making it a lovely place for a walk if you have time. The room itself was quite spacious, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling window was excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very warm and helpful. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective, requiring a bit of patience for the room to cool down.

Hotel is a queit good and clean also happy with the breakfast, I feel more yummy on a mongolian traditional milk tea with boortsog & urum... So I've had a 2 problems with 1 of it is, therefore an announcement were next to the elevator, was horribly for me, another problem is I've ordered and 1 queen size room next or nearby elevator & not so far from it, but it was

First off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

Very nice hotel in Aershan Triple room with three beds is very comfortable The newly opened sanitation is very good, somewhat smelly, the towels are a bit hairy, and the ventilation is fine. Breakfast is very good, there is a rich variety of coffee, very close to the Aershan city center train station, there is also a restaurant next to it, there is Dix downstairs is very convenient

My partner and I stayed here during our bicycle travels in China. The hotel was very generous holding a package for us for several months as we traveled from Xinjiang through Mongolia and back to China. They also held our bicycles for a week while we took a hiatus to Datong. The staff were friendly and Mark spoke excellent English and helped us a lot with arranging for taxis or other things that we needed. There are not any restaurants or really other businesses nearby - we needed to taxi into town for anything. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean on our initial stay. The pool was just a few lanes and the gym was pretty sparse, but both exist. The restaurant breakfast buffet was expansive but also expensive. It was better when the hotel was busy and the food turnover higher.

The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet with plenty of hot water. The hotel is in a central location, making it convenient to visit nearby attractions. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the top floor and is diverse, healthy, and made with fresh ingredients. It offers great value for money and is perfect for family trips!
