MM741677****The front desk staff were quick and professional. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel's location is great, close to the North Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Wanda Jin Hua Suite Hotel in Changbaishan. The rooms are spacious and bright with a sensible layout. The underfloor heating is excellent, making for a very comfortable stay, especially for two mothers traveling with two children. The hotel is located in the heart of the resort area, within walking distance of the ski resort and the commercial street, which was incredibly convenient since our trip was primarily for skiing.
The biggest plus was the service from our butler, Kitty. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, she provided thoughtful care throughout our stay, proactively reminding us about the weather, our itinerary, and how to utilize hotel benefits. Any request we had was met with a quick response; she truly paid attention to every detail. Because of Kitty, this trip was even more perfect, and she absolutely deserves a five-star rating!

AAnonymous UserI have to commend the exceptional service provided by Butler Xinxin at Changbai Mountain Lan Jing Hotel – our entire experience was absolutely fantastic! From arranging our pick-up at the high-speed rail station before check-in to promptly processing our arrival and personally escorting us to our room, Xinxin went above and beyond. They even thoughtfully prepared child-friendly amenities like a bed rail for our little one. As soon as we settled in, the butler provided a warm welcome, detailed information about hotel facilities, park entry requirements for Changbai Mountain, and essential ski gear. They even helped us arrange ski suit rentals, saving us a lot of hassle. The next day, our ski tickets and shuttle bus were pre-booked, making the entire process worry-free. When we wanted to visit Edelweiss Town after skiing, the butler immediately arranged for a driver to pick us up and drop us off. The driver patiently waited for us until we returned around 10 PM. The hotel room was quiet and comfortable, and the butler proactively checked in each evening to see if we needed anything, and in the mornings, they provided timely updates on the latest Changbai Mountain park entry information. The day before our departure, the butler once again pre-arranged our shuttle to the station, ensuring a seamless connection. The dining also deserves a special mention; breakfast was particularly delicious. The noodle-making auntie was very friendly, and the staff clearing tables were quick and attentive. From the small details to the overall arrangements, everything was impeccable – professional and heartwarming. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Changbai Mountain!

The bathroom had a convenient wet-dry separation, and the attention to detail throughout was excellent. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was both swift and thoughtful, and they even proactively upgraded my room type.
The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast at Xijiangyue Restaurant offered an extensive selection, including Chinese pastries, hot dishes, and various congees. The Chaoshan cuisine at Wanyuege Chinese Restaurant was incredibly authentic. Furthermore, Pengdashi Hotpot not only provided stunning river views but also offered a two-person set menu with exceptional value for money.

VVxiaobeiThis was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect…
Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling.
Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward?
Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha!
During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!
They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

GGuest UserThe decoration looks quite new, but it's a bit rough. The shower room leaks a little. The breakfast is relatively simple. The waiters are very nice and there is a washing machine and dryer. There is no charge for parking anywhere in Hunchun except at the high-speed rail station. There are a lot of Russians in the hotel, which is quite harmonious. When going to Fangchuan, it is necessary to first visit the Zhanggufeng Incident Memorial Hall, which is helpful for visiting Fangchuan Scenic Area. At a glance, you can see the train from Russia to North Korea. Of course, if you have time, it would be a good idea to take a look at the various lifestyles of North Koreans.

GGuest UserMy stay here was great! It's located in Ndorina, very close to both the East and North Gates. You can call the hotel for pick-up and drop-off right at the gate, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. They're always patient in answering any questions and quick to resolve any issues. Most importantly, the room itself was really spacious with a smart layout and stylish decor, making for a very comfortable and roomy stay.

YYouxiandebaiyunThe hotel environment was very cozy, and the room was quite spacious. The customer service staff were incredibly warm and helpful, explaining how to navigate the park and which services could be accessed directly via QR codes on the app. The hotel's back-of-house staff were also wonderful; they knew my family drinks a lot of water and always prepared extra for us in advance. We truly felt at home during our stay. Our child also had a fantastic time at the ski resort. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Changbai Mountain. GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
