The hotel has a beautiful location. The antique building has been kept in excellent condition. We chose to stay in the Feature Double Room-old Hall. The room was very spacious, with seating area. A coffee machine was also available. Cool drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, individually cooked, with a wide choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Our third stay at The Feversham Arms Hotel. We were allocated a pool suite which was excellent. Apparently the hotel is up for sale, the administrators have been brought in. Hopefully the new owners will be found and after a few tweaks here and there the hotel will be five stars.
The location is super convenient, within walking distance to the train station and all the attractions, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets.
The hotel facilities are a bit dated but generally complete. There's a cute little elevator at the entrance, which is handy for people with large luggage or those who have trouble with stairs.
My room was assigned as a smoking room, so there was a lingering smoke smell and I couldn't open the window to air it out. However, the duvet and pillows were very soft and comfortable for sleeping. The bathroom sink has separate hot and cold taps, which is quite unusual; the hot water was very hot, so I had to run the cold water first before turning on the hot. I later found out this design is common in other parts of the UK. Thankfully, the shower tap didn't have this issue. I'd recommend bringing your own toiletries.
The front desk offers luggage storage, but there's a sign warning that they aren't responsible for lost items. We didn't have any issues with lost luggage during our stay, though.
When we visited, there was some flooding, so if you're driving, I'd suggest avoiding the flood season or not parking your car in the garage.
Overall, for a short one-night stay, it offers good value for money.
Nice hotel room with a nice view. Only downside was the parking space was quite small. Finding parking was difficult. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.
The hotel is located in a great place, The aesthetic is perfect for the building. If you are disabled you may want to give this hotel a miss, as even if you specifically ask to be near a lift when you book they may put you in a room with no lift access at all, and the staff are not very helpful or accommodating even when you have a disability that is affected by stairs.
The queue to check in was over 50 minutes even though we tried to check in much later than 3pm. The hotel has a lot of stairs, the room was not spotlessly clean but adequate and came with all the basic requirements. The view from the windows was great. Overall this is an ok budget hotel that is only suitable if you are able bodied and can deal with a large number of stairs.
Located in the heart of the town of Helmsley, the hotel is a traditional English-style villa hotel. The hotel's environment is simple and welcoming. The small garden of the hotel is very beautiful, it is suitable for sitting in the garden for an afternoon tea. It is just that the hotel does not have a lift. It is more difficult to move the luggage into the room, and the hotel does not have any extra staff to provide such services.
My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights. Checking in felt more tedious than it needed to be and our keys stopped working half way through the stay. We had a nice room with a comfortable bed and it was serviced, which isn't guaranteed these days. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive and helpful. I'd stay there again.
We have stayed here before and it is clean and comfortable staff are lovely and food is excellent 👌

YYeziA small villa, the room is clean and tidy, very warm and quiet, the service is very good and warm, we live on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, the suitcase is the store to help get the room, parking is also convenient. The environment of Zhou is good, and it is convenient to travel. It takes 20 minutes to walk along the river to see the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Only breakfast is very expensive. Two nights a day is a pleasant experience.

GGuest UserAn adorable hotel in York, I booked another night because we loved it and wanted to relax.
It’s just a short walk away from the main old town Centre, wasn’t a problem even in the rain.
Very clean and quaint decorations, love the 4-poster bed and the towel warmer. Also provides bathrobes, slippers and even a complimentary snack room. We could go grab some chips in the middle of the night if we wanted to. We didn’t eat, but we had some cocktails at the bar downstairs and coffee in the morning. Service is great.
BBonniegiftYork is a small historical city, this hotel inherits the city culture. British-style separate yard, tall black gate. Friendly uncle-level reception. The hotel is a bit old, the maintenance is very good, the room has a kettle, the necessary toiletries, the shower open in a variety of ways, and the small snacks are also prepared. Health is OK, the quality of the bed is also good. In short, it is a good experience

LLouise HikkThe hotel is perfectly situated for exploring sights of Harrogate everything very nearby!
From checking in and our room available early with welcome cookies which were warm and amazing to checkout the staff could not be more helpful!
The room was on the third floor clean, tidy and well presented.
The gym and spa facilities were all good and nice to use and relax especially on a Sunday evening!
The breakfast was buffet with a selection of hot and cold options the parcel machine was my favourite fresh pancakes which were delicious!
This hotel is huge but it's well maintained clean tidy and such an enjoyable experience for our anniversary!
EEvan3190The hotel is conveniently located close to the city walls, Butcher's Row, and the church, with many restaurants nearby. The hygiene was good, and the lobby was spacious. However, the room was very small, there was no Wi-Fi, and getting in and out was inconvenient. The hotel parking lot was also very small, requiring guests to park in an external lot.
GGuest UserLovely welcome at reception. Really helpful with parking.
The room was large, lovely and warm and had every thing we needed.
The most beautiful setting for breakfast again with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the decorated Christmas trees.
The hotel was in an ideal location for Bettys and the shops.
HHAIHUI GUOWe had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in a breeze and offering great recommendations. We loved the convenient on-site laundry facilities, which came in handy during our trip. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the river, with stunning views that made our evenings truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and scenic beauty!
