"The hotel is wonderful. The grounds and building are aesthetically beautiful. We had a triple room with a fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle. The hotel offered us breakfast, and it was excellent and varied. My youngest child is a picky eater, and they would ask her what she wanted and prepare it according to her wishes. The hotel's location is excellent, situated between the city center and the botanical garden. It's 5 Lari (150 rubles) by taxi to the center, and 5 Lari to the botanical garden, next to which there's a pristine beach with few people. On the beach, a sun lounger costs 5 Lari and an umbrella 10 Lari for the whole day. The water was like warm milk. There are restaurants nearby, and close to the hotel itself, you'll find a Spar supermarket and a pharmacy. Everything is conveniently located. The hotel also has a small pool. On our last day, before our train, we didn't go to the sea, and the kids had fun in the pool instead. In short, I recommend it... It's a quiet, peaceful area, and the sea is only 300 meters away. A superb place. The hotel is new, everything is spotless, and the hosts are hospitable. The bed linen was so new and clean it practically crackled. Check-in time was 3 PM, but we arrived at 1 PM and were checked in without any problems. Check-out time was 12 PM, but our train wasn't until 4:40 PM. We were allowed to stay until 3:30 PM. Thank you!"

SSaumyaleo31We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel left mixed impressions. On the positive side, the location is good: the botanical garden is nearby, many places are within walking distance, and getting to Batumi is convenient. The sea view from the window was beautiful, especially in the evening. The price was also quite reasonable. The apartment had all the basic necessities, but some small comfort items and supplies were missing: there was no laundry detergent, no sponges, and it was unclear where the trash area was located. The wardrobes were assembled strangely and kept opening by themselves all the time. The water pressure was rather weak, making it uncomfortable to wash long hair. The strangest part was the breakfast situation and the café organization. We were told in advance that we could come for breakfast at any time, but when we arrived a little after 12 PM, we were told that breakfast was no longer being served. At the same time, the café was almost empty — we stayed in May, during the off-season, so there were barely any visitors. The next day the situation repeated itself: before checking out, we wanted to have breakfast, but it turned out that the café opened later than the time written on the door. Through the administrator we found out a different opening time, and then the café was additionally delayed by around half an hour. As a result, we never managed to have a calm breakfast before departure. The breakfasts themselves were also questionable. The English breakfast in the café costs around 24–25 GEL separately and was extremely greasy and oily — literally a “cholesterol festival.” If you stay for a longer period, it gets tiring very quickly. There were alternatives, but they looked much less worthwhile in terms of price and portion size, so I’m not sure there is much point in booking breakfast included. There was also an uncomfortable situation with the staff: we walked past the security guard many times, but later we suddenly started being questioned about who we were and where we came from, as if we were doing something suspicious. After check-out, we were also asked to wait while they checked whether anything had been stolen from the apartment. It felt awkward and unpleasant. Overall, the hotel is fine for a short stay because of the view and location, but the service and organization left mixed impressions. Also, be prepared for a very specific driving style in this region.

CChessmasterI have spent there 4 days. Check-in 15:00, rather late. Check-out until 11:00, its early, be ready for that as well. The apartments are on the 4th floor of the Steps building. I have arrived by plane. The time to get from the airport to the apartments building is about 40 minutes by foot. Or you may take a bus, though its unclear to me how you may pay it the bus without Batumi card that I had. The weather was rainy about 75% of time. Its a typical winter in Batumi. The wifi was working in apartments well. The cleaning done was every day or at least you are asked whether you need that or not. You need to wait quite some time until hot water at the shower starts. Due to bad weather my plane was postponed. The host did not help me with dealing with it, he just wanted to take 30$ whilst we agreed previously on 13$ by 1 more night by phone. So I had to figure out my new plane ticket and leave in a hurry.

BBuerderenLocated in the new district of Batumi, it's close to the airport but a few kilometers from the old town. However, Batumi's traffic is extremely congested; it took us over an hour to travel just a few kilometers in the afternoon. The city's management is truly terrible. The room was small but fairly clean. It's very close to the beach. Because our flight was in the morning, we hadn't had breakfast, and there was a 50 baht deposit required to borrow an umbrella.

ППавел КириленкоOverall a normal hotel, good location. Of the minuses: - when booking it was stated that parking is free, but it is paid - there is a construction site nearby, in the morning you will wake up with the builders 😁 - breakfast in a neighboring hotel and very mediocre, I would even say not tasty - upon arrival, we spent a lot of time searching for payment in the hotel system - in the morning there was a water outage altogether

GGuest UserThe place is good and well-organized, with everything you need like a washing machine, iron, and a small kitchen. It's clean, but not the best. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, cafes, and tourist areas within walking distance. The only issue I had was that after the apartment was cleaned, my pajamas went missing. I asked at the reception, and they said the cleaning staff wasn't there. Since check-out was early in the morning, I gave them my number to contact me if they found them. Honestly, this whole thing made me uneasy; if pajamas can be stolen, what about other belongings? I was a bit stressed and insisted on following up to see if there would be any action, but unfortunately, they didn't care at all and didn't take the matter seriously. If you book here, make sure to keep an eye on your belongings and don't let anyone in to clean.

AAnonymous UserExcellent hotel in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with fresh renovations. The location is super convenient: attractions, the promenade, the sea, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room comes with towels, a bathrobe, a hairdryer, a kettle, tea, coffee, cups, glasses, and a large TV. Breakfast was pretty standard: eggs, omelets, sausages, fresh and stewed vegetables, bread, pastries. There was also cottage cheese and yogurt, and pancakes. I would have liked to see some porridge added.

AAlina rus30We booked two two-room apartments, first on our way to Turkey, and now on our way back. Everything was excellent, I highly recommend it. The view from the window is stunning. There were no issues with the elevators; they arrived quickly. The rooms are well-renovated, the water pressure is great, and the drainage works perfectly. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we circled around and found a spot. It's only 200 meters to the sea. There are a lot of Russians here. The sea is cleaner at the end of the promenade, near the Nino monument. We're very happy with our stay 👍, it's an absolute steal for the price. I recommend it.

EELENAWe really enjoyed our stay. True, there were some difficulties with check-in upon arrival, because we did not receive check-in instructions. It is imperative to contact the property in advance and then everything will be fine. The location is very convenient, the views are stunning! The air conditioner works for heat, the room quickly warmed up, the cool weather did not bother us. The room has everything you need. Considering that these are apartments, cleaning is not provided. You also take out the trash yourself. There are many containers near the house, everything is convenient. Every morning at 9-00 breakfast was delivered to the room. Different every day. Salad of fresh vegetables with an omelet, or sausages, or buckwheat, or boiled eggs. A bag of tea and coffee. Thanks to the hosts, we liked everything.👍
