WE' LL COME BACK! Fantastic joy& pleasure we have had at Aquila Hotel at our stay there at Heraklion, it was our first time. Enjoyed it at breakfast, our room was so clean& with enough space with terrace& great view...Pool on 6th floor was pleasurable..All Hotel is interesting with exterior as well as interior...This hotel have so much to offer&most important to give you touch of happines at your stay! Lots of smiles from Belgrade:)) J&K

The service is good. I asked if I would like to help us with our luggage or send me to the airport. A welcome drink is also provided. It does feel like a high-end hotel. In addition, they can do valet parking, just park the car next to the hotel and find their staff.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights in July 2022. There were eight of us in total so two families. The location is absolutely perfect as it is right in the middle of Heraklion, opposite the bustling square with its wonderful with its Artisan stalls which are worth visiting and only a short walk to the shops and wonderful selection of restaurants. Heraklion is a truly bustling and Cosmopolitan city. The Hotel is very close to Heraklion Archaeological Museum and a bus or taxi ride to the beach. It is also not too far from the port you can walk there but we took a very quick taxi due to the heat. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome and our baggage was taken to our room for us. The reception area is refreshing to walk into from the heat outside and the decor is lovely and very modern with a comfortable seating area. There is a downstairs bar which is very chic with beautiful artwork where you can eat and you can just walk through to the shops outside to have a mooch with is perfect. Our check in process was very smooth and efficient. Check out is at 12 and check in is at 2. We had travelled from Chania by taxi. and were a little early. The gentleman on reception was able to find our group a room to check into while they got our other rooms ready which was very helpful and we did not have to wait too long. We had the economy rooms two different types between us. The ones which have balconies and the ones which are inside but don't have a balcony. The latter were a bit bigger than the ones with the balcony and the children's bed has its own little area which we really liked. The bathroom and room were very clean and the cleaners were very helpful and polite. We had a small fridge all the usual amenities you would expect and the air conditioning always worked well. I really feel (being from the UK) that the hotel represents very good value for the price we paid - if we were to pay a similar price in England we would not be staying in nearly such a nice hotel that's for sure. Certainly not one with a pool on the roof! We absolutely loved the roof area. The pool is quite small (but still big enough to have a lovely, cool swim). The pool area is clean and there are sunbeds and chairs you can sit on around the pool and plenty of place to sunbathe. It is absolutely lovely the perfect place to relax and take in the view. They also have a lifeguard up there at all times which we were not expecting. The pool is open until 8 at night but you can still go up to the roof for drinks and to eat your dinner after this time. They also provide towels for you which is great. The bar on the roof is absolutely excellent and the service is impeccable. The bar staff and waiters and waitresses work so hard and are so friendly (whilst also remaining professional). The bar food is great especially the mini burgers and the club sandwiches are to die for. You can also have dinner up on the roof and there are lots of lovely tables and chairs to chose fro

I booked to Elia in Chania and I called the day before to ask for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (the hotel offered this service). I asked for the driver to have a POS so I pay with a credit card. A driver came at the airport, he was nice but did not have POS because nobody from the hotel informed him about it. Thus, I had to walk with him around the city to a taxi place where his partner had the POS to pay. At the hotel and during my check in I was informed that my breakfast will not be served at my hotel but in another hotel 300 meters away. I complained because this was not written in the description of the room/hotel. Then, I had to walk with my suitcase to the hotel I booked (the check in was at the hotel where breakfast was served). When I arrived I found out that there is no elevator and I had to carry my luggage upstairs which was not possible because I broke my hand a few months ago (see pictures). I called the reception of the hotel and they told me that they do not offer groom service. I went to the room and left the suitcase downstairs. I informed the reception that either they should arrange so the suitcase is carried to my room or offer me a free cancellation. Moreover the room had a bad smell...I do not know if it is humidity or the smell from the bathroom... I also asked for a room change afterwards. The manager refused through the receptionist to offer me a free cancellation or change me room. The only thing the reception did was to send a person to carry my suitcase to my room. Terrible experience, I do not recommend this hotel chain to anyone. The management is UNPROFESSIONAL and offer NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Of course I informed ********** immediately and they were trying to find the manager but he was hiding!

This hotel is amazing. We spent our summer here with our kids. This hotel has everything we needed and the amazing time and service we had was above all our expectations. First, all the staff is very kind and helpful for any kind of requests we had. We understood this from our first discussion with Kostas, the reservation manager who is so kind and making sure every customer would be satisfied during their entire stay. Manos, the food and beverage manager is amazing as well, so is its entire team. The Italian restaurant Oliva is delicious and offers a large menu from delicious pastas, fresh caprese, seafood, meat, incredible cooked vegetables,… to make happy everyone. The breakfast is also great, everything we wanted was there! From the on-demand omelettes to the freshly baked crepes and pastries, fruits assortments, cooked meals, … everything. The bar restaurant is a so beautiful and quiet spot and offers the most beautiful view on the beach. There we could order all kind of snacks and play snooker. This spot is very representative of the hotel : a 5 stars hotel but no showing off :) Exactly what we love ! Best kids club. We have been in several kids club before and as parents, of course this is so important: happy kids, happy parents. Exactly as the entire staff of the hotel, the kids club staff is AMAZING, so good heart and giving their best to make the little guest happy. Our kids spent some time there almost every afternoon and had the best time ! They speak different languages but most of all, they speak the kids’ one perfectly. Very professional, very good people. Thanks Natalia and Veronica for the love you gave to our kids that love you so much. The animation team is great as well !! When we were in the mood of activities we could join the games and pool animations as well as the mini disco in the evening that the kids and we loved! The team gives all to make happy the clients and has so much energy !! The housekeeping is very good and very kind too. The nice beach offers water sports and we had the chance to make some jet sky and banana boat :) There is also a games corner and an area to play chests and many more kind of games. Fitness center, spa, several pools, some with animation, some for quiet times, one kid pool with little slides, tennis courts (and an amazing tennis teacher) We loved our time there and will be back as soon as possible

There is a double bed and a single bed in the room. Although the space is not large, the furniture is complete: wardrobes, desks are available, the bathroom is not small, and there is a small window for ventilation. We lived in a corner room with a long balcony. Although the room faces the small street, the doors and windows are soundproofed and don't feel noisy at night. Hotel location is not bad, six or seven minutes walk from the Lion Fountain. The front desk is English, warm uncle reception, check-in and check-out procedures are simple and fast. The bus is at the entrance of the hotel. Whether it is the airport or the bus to Iraq Li翁, there is a direct bus stop at the door. Health is OK, there is a hot water bottle. Breakfast is richer than I thought. In short, the price is very good.

Booked for two nights either end of our Cretan road trip Great location for airport buses and for heraklion nightlife Standard room set up Okay buffet breakfast Friendly staff Let us leave our bags after check out until late evening when we headed to airport Second booking which we did the day before we arrived was more $$ due to only a triple room being available .When we checked in they tried to put is a double ,we said we've paid for triple .When we went to the room it was the exact room from the week before so that peeved us a bit .Shame really

I don’t know who gives hotels in Greece their star ratings, maybe themselves? This hotel is definitely not 4 star! I would give it a 2 at best! It looks nothing like the pictures, it is old and just ugly. The lobby looks like a backpackers lodge, it smells of cigarettes even! The rooms are just old and disgusting. The toilet doesn’t have enough lights and the drain in the shower doesn’t even work properly! How can this be a 4 star hotel honestly??? Will never be coming back!

I was very pleased with my stay here for 6 nights. I arrived late at night so the hotel reception was a little tricky to find, and I was nervous since all the shops were closed and the streets were kind of empty but actually the neighborhood is entirely safe and right in the middle of all the action. I loved having everything right at my doorstep - restaurants, shopping, the old town center. The room was clean and actually much larger than I expected. Good wifi, powerful air conditioner, comfortable bed. Overall I had a great stay and highly recommend for anyone watching their budget but wanting to be in the heart of everything.

The service is particularly good, and free meals will be provided for late check-in. If you get up early and go on the road, you will also prepare a breakfast box. It is suitable for lying flat in the hotel, and the experience is full.

Beautiful hotel - away from the crowds. Beautiful views, great cocktails! Great breakfast and evening buffet, beautiful pool, really friendly beach bar staff, great hire car options, and the free bikes and shuttle bus to the local beach is great! The only downfalls were the dated repetitive playlist that was very loud with guests mocking it and wearing their free ear plugs ... BUT, this soon became a positive as the management made a reasonable adjustment to the volume and even turned it off at the beach to allow guests to de compress with only the sound of the waves to entertain. Music playlist might be something they consider for the future. Lunch menu very poor, and don't be fooled by the pizza oven - they don't use this. Instead, what you get is a par made pizza oven baked copy. Wraps appear to be pre made, too, as they are ice cold when served. Only had once as it was overpriced and of poor quality.

The location of the hotel is definitely very good and a plus point. We were greeted in a friendly manner and the lady at the bar gave us a welcome drink. The hotel looks quite high-quality at the entrance and you feel like you're in good hands. I would say it's not 5-star level, but around 3.5-4 absolutely. The room we were given unfortunately had no windows (the description said there was one). No problem for us. Our biggest criticism is that there was no door in the shower because it had been removed. So you couldn't shower properly without water spraying outside. When we told reception, they just said ”we didn't know” and preferred to answer the ringing phone and leave the guest standing there. Who would know if not the hotel, so unfortunately it's far from 5-star service. We expected a small apology and that the problem would be taken care of. I think it's a real shame that you pay so much money and then get a room that doesn't meet the standard and isn't really at the level you want it to be given to guests. Luckily we only spent one day here and had previously spent the week in a real 5-star hotel. I can really only give this hotel 3/5 stars overall.

1. Very new 4 room suites suite hotel.(since December 2022) 2. Interiors and finishing very high quality and very clean. 3. Next to harbor and walking distance to all interesting site and old town . 4. Breakfast is served at the sailing club , 100 meters away from location. You are allowed to choose from 4 sets of fixed options which for us was a bit boring to eat for 5 days, as the English breakfast was the only one that we preferred . Choice of coffee was limited to 1 cup of American coffee. It would have been better to offer just a bed option and leave us to choose where to breakfast from so many choices around the area. 5. We were told that Our suite, number 201, was on 2nd floor with no elevator so we thought that was acceptable but turned out that you need to climb over 48 steps carrying your own 30 kg case to your room 🤔😔.(BETTER TO CLEAR THIS WHEN DESCRIBING ROOMS) 6. They offer you a complimentary bottle of white wine and bottled water on arrival . after that you need to buy your own water. 7. When booking our room they say all rooms are Facing sea front but turned out the our room had a side view of the harbor. 8. For such a beautiful suite and offered free amenities it would have been good to provide tissue papers aswell . 9. The receptionist is not available all the time but you can reach by phone if you need them. 10 Car park available for hotel

it's luxury that you seek, plus, fabulous service, the best food you've ever eaten, chilled surroundings then I recommend to come here, my husband & 14 year old daughter spent a week here and had one of the best holidays we've ever had, thanks to obviously the amazing weather but the hotel made it for us, no sun bed wars m, beds available anytime of day, pool side drinks service all day, there was food available all day, staff are amazing! entertainment was excellent definitely no expensive spared, in the morning while having breakfast there was music sometimes live, things to do if you want in pool during day, entertainment every night which is chilled and nothing to heavy, the festival they have every week is amazing live music entertainment and excellent Du, the street food is absolutely amazing, the only criticism we had was check in procedure is awful and we waited a long time to get into our room this definitely needs re assessing as this does not give your hotel experience a good start, also would be nice to have the mini fridge filled daily it was nice to have a wine & beer in there but never had again the juices were amazing and there was plenty of water, really there is no fault this hotel just needs a couple of tweaks, thank you Euphoria for an amazing holiday

What a special little place! If you read no further, all you need to know is we are super particular and this has the highest rating of all the hotels we stayed at. Our arriving flight was delayed for just over two hours, meaning that an already late arrival became a midnight check in. We messaged the hotel just before we took off to let them know and to ask if there would be someone available to receive us. We received a message back from the hotel within 2 minutes, telling us there would absolutely be someone at reception and it was no issues, so no need to rush or stress. On (late) arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful crisp, clean and very new hotel. First impressions were very good. On arrival at the reception, the gentlemen was expecting us, knew our name and had everything ready. Knowing we had a little arduous journey, had offered to take us straight to our room, or would happily make us a drink. We decided to have a drink. As we found with all the staff, they pitched the conversation perfectly. Not intrusive, but interested and always incredibly happy and smiling. We arrived in our room. We booked the Ambassador room with sea view. It was special in every way. New, crisp, well decorated, smelling amazing. A wonderful view over Chania. We realised we had also been gifted a lovely bottle of fizz, so sat and enjoyed the wonderful view. Breakfast is served in the room. Just call in the morning when ready and it is brought to you. It, like everything about this hotel was very very good. Fresh, great selection and lots of it! We treated ourselves to two spa treatments. These were excellent, professional and very relaxing. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the professionalism and quality. The main event at this hotel is the staff. They are very lovely people. We have never stayed at a hotel where we had been made to feel so welcome and not just a guest. Every interaction, from reception to maids, from bar to room service staff was great. The pleasant nature is contagious and it made us feel great. The location is perfect, out of the way (enough to be quiet), but close enough (5 minutes/€10 taxi) to the town. Often there are places we stay and we find something that wasn’t quite right. That simply was not the case here. Couldn’t recommend strongly enough. A must stay.

This charming family-owned Venetian hotel is in the heart of the old city of Chania, perfectly located with the most warm and kind, dedicated staff and incredible home-baked huge included breakfast! Rooms are spacious, clean and gorgeous, appointed with authentic cretan and Greek artifacts, and the Courtyard for breakfast provides natural sunlight and a place to relax after a day of shopping or touring around Crete. Everyone goes out of their way to provide hospitality and they are gracious and polite -- getting towels and beach bags for tours out of Chania; making dinner reservations; reserving transfer taxis; and anything else you would wish. This is one of the most lovely and wonderful hotels I have ever had the luxury of staying in!

We never usually like to book big hotels when visiting Greece as we usually spend very little time in them. This one caught my eye and I’m glad it did. Communication from the UK to Minoa before we left was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room. A lovely bottle of red wine was given to us as a gift which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The pools were great. Always sun loungers available which is a big plus. We are at the pool bar and the Italian restaurant which are both top quality at good prices. They did fitness classes in the pool three times out of the 7 we were there. They also had a lovely Jazz band on one evening which sipping cocktails at the piano bar. We never got time to use the gym or the spa sadly but we had a sneak peak and it looked great. The beach bar was a lovely touch and the sunset from there was so special. One last thing… we had a leaving gift of tea bags and olives in a lovely Minoa gift bag. Thank you all for such a special break.

Although the room is a bit small, breakfast, health and service are good. The location is also convenient. You can walk to places such as the History Museum. The hot chocolate in the cafe has many varieties and is delicious.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Heraklion.. the efficient young dynamic staff , from reception to breakfast and restaurant to roof, are just 10 and praises ... At the reception (a blonde girl with blue eyes I don't remember the name) very kind and friendly and professional about the city management , breakfast boys careful of the needs and demands (incredible remembered the city perfect in the days following the first request ), the latest-stage restaurant boys and exceptional cooks and cooks .. If I return to Candia, it will be the only hire I will consider! We give this hotel 10/10! For starters, reception was excellent! Our ferry was canceled and we missed a day there. Not only did the manager not charge us for the room that day, she upgraded us to a corner room because we had such a struggle to get to Heraklion. It was so thoughtful and kind. She also treated us to a bottle of wine when there was a tiny mistake on our bill! Incredible customer service like you rarely see anymore. And it wasn’t just reception- all the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The room was perfection- clean, large, comfortable. The bed was wonderful with excellent linens and pillows. We really slept well there. As others have said the location is perfect and the breakfast is amazingly good. I wish all hotels were like this. Highly recommend.

We just finished a four night stay at Mitsis Laguna and can’t wait to go back. We stayed in the Royal Suite which was a total splurge and completely wonderful. But the property as a whole is very well designed so every room is convenient to everything. The walkout pool rooms and ocean view rooms all looked fantastic as well. Even though we arrived with no dinner reservations and the resort was fully booked, the concierge got us reservations for exactly what we wanted. Our favorite was the Cretan restaurant — the food was amazing and our service (Thursday June 15 was exceptional!!!). The main restaurant (buffet) was very good as well and even in peak hours we never waited more than a couple minutes to be seated. Incredible! We also loved that there is late night buffet food served until 4am along with a late night bar — we were never up quite that late but we did arrive at midnight hour first night and were thrilled to be able to eat hot food! The central pool is heated and an absolute delight to swim in. Seats fill up but we were still always able to snag one whenever turned up. The beach is just at the edge of the property and gorgeous — if a bit choppy for actual swimming! The food cart by the beach though was fantastic, and we hit it every day. We also loved the ice cream shop by the pool. You can rent a car at a desk in the hotel for a day or more easily — was about 60 euros and we drove the 30 minutes to visit the Palace of Knossos, admiring the coastal views along the way. Our daughter also truly loved the magic show (kudos to Rocco the magician!) and the really great arcade. This is a fantastic resort. Even though it’s a large property, you are always just steps away from whatever you need and never feel like you’re part of a crowd. The service from literally everyone is so wonderful. I am writing this from the airport and we are sitting here planning our next Mitsis vacation. Highly recommend.

Brand new beautifully executed smart hotel in the heart of Heraklion! A family group of twelve stayed here while traveling to Crete, Paros and Athens and this was a favorite. We only stayed one night but loved our visit. The hotel is modern and classic at the same time with beautiful marble finishes. When our group arrived, we were greeted at reception to sign in on iPads. Afterwards, several of us were upgraded gratis to luxury rooms. It was over hundred degrees in Heraklion so we headed up to the rooftop pool and bar which had a view of the distant sea. It was a perfect way to ride out the heatwave. The AC was superb, the bed amazingly comfortable with crisp clean linens. The shower was huge as was the double vanity sink. There were robes, slippers, a coffee and tea maker, a safe and iron. There was even a small private balcony to hang our wet bathing suits out to dry. It is located within walking distance of the lion fountain with many nearby restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this hotel. And hope to return.

I was really looking forward to this trip to Crete but my high hopes were dashed when I arrived at this hotel. We paid good money to be in the area but what we got was a second-rate dump. We did not even get to stay in the main hotel! Even though we booked more than 3 months in advance we were relegated to some hastily remodeled dirty annex across the street. No A/C in either building except in your room so eating meals or hanging out in the social area were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was so small I had to lean to the right anytime I had use the facilities because the counter overhung the toilet by a third. Hair from the previous guest was all over the bathroom so I question whether or not the room was ever cleaned. Hallways are dingy and dark with room service trays that sat in the way for days! Elevator is so small only one person can go up at a time - if you have luggage you are taking the stairs. ”Breakfast” was so bad that even though it was free my wife and I walked elsewhere to find food every morning. The bed was so hard we could only sleep for a few hours at a time before we woke up with aches and pains. To say that this experience was a major disappointment would be a massive understatement.

Our whole stay was perfect, the room, food, drinks, service, entertainment and the whole site was immaculate. Nothing to report, no improvements needed. Manolis makes the most magnificent cocktails and the entertainment programme was brilliant, mentioning Jess, Nick, Adam and Louis who were outstanding.

Where do I start with this 'Amazing' Hotel !!. We stayed at the Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa in August 2024 for 12 nights . A very light and modern 5 star which was spotlessly clean. Stunning main pool area , the rooftop Atmosphere bar with gorgeous views . Right in the heart of Hersonissos the Akasha is right on the doorstep of everything. We stayed in an Urban Chic room which was fine for the time we spent in there . Pool rooms looked lovely but never had any sun on them so not an option we would recommend. We stayed Half Board but found it great that you could swap your Evening Meal for lunch and sample some of the lovely restaurants close by. The breakfast had everything you could think of . the evening meal had a great choice but not always very hot which would be the only criticism I would make there . The beach bar and restaurant served lovely food and drinks too. Onto the Staff. What an amazing crew of staff work at the Akasha , they couldn't be anymore friendly and accomdating. We have to say a special shout out to Georges, Rafaiela, Elina who were so friendly and chatty and forever serving drinks around the pool . Another special thank you to Nada and her outstanding restaurant staff, thank you so much for looking after us on our stay :) A must to do at the Hotel is the Spa treatments by the lovely Elena and staff. An amazing experience , I would highly recommend treating yourself ! We had the best holiday and have already booked to return to the Akasha Beach Hotel in 2025 !!

The hotel facilities are very good and new, the swimming is a highlight, and the sunset is especially beautiful. The recliners by the pool need to take a seat in the morning, the towels provided by the recliners and the seat covers are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is romantic and the food is delicious. Hotel service staff try their best to provide services, but seems to be insufficient skills, questions can not be answered in time, need patience, etc. Overall very recommended hotel

This was my first time at the amazing Stella Island, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations! I had heard so many great things about this place, but nothing could have prepared me for how stunning it truly is. The photos really don’t do it justice—this hotel is something you need to experience firsthand. And the way it transforms from day to night? Simply magical! From the moment we arrived, I felt like I had stepped into paradise. We were warmly greeted by Aris and Nikos, who took such good care of us throughout our stay. Aris has a heart of gold, and it was such a pleasure getting to know him better during our little trips around the hotel. The entire team was incredibly helpful, always there to assist us with our moves and daily routines. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and care! The reception team was equally wonderful, always smiling and so welcoming. Every interaction with them was lovely—efficient, friendly, and always ready to help. It’s a great feeling when you’re remembered and treated like family. We stayed in a room with a Premium Pool View near the Makuti side, and it was perfect! Spacious, spotless, and with the most comfortable beds. Makuti was our go-to spot for sunbathing, and the team there made every day special. Rania and her team were a joy to be around—her attention to detail is unmatched, and I loved catching up with her. George, with his calming presence, and Yannis made sure we were never without one of their amazing cocktails. And let’s not forget Yanni, who was always around, making sure everything was perfect. The drinks and food there were excellent! The food overall was exceptional—definitely a highlight of the trip! Lunch at the buffet was great, and the fish lunch at Vegera was top-notch. But La Parilla stole the show for both lunch and dinner. The meals were incredible, and the service was just as amazing. Johanna’s team is truly the best. Eleni, George, and Emerlito made every meal special, with their warm energy and flawless service. Kostis, the bartender, kept the good vibes going with his stories and perfect cocktails. Our evenings at Paraiso were a blast, too! Antonis and Sofia made the best cocktails—Sofia’s margaritas are to die for, and Antonis’ Margaritas are next level! Maria, Katerina, and Xaris were also a delight—super attentive and always ready with a smile. The entertainment was top-tier, the shows blew me away this year. Breakfast was another daily highlight, with a tough decision to make every morning between the buffet and La Parilla. Special shoutout to the lovely lady at the buffet and Lenti at La Parilla for starting our mornings off with great service and friendly faces. I recently visited the spa at Sherita Beach Hotel and was incredibly satisfied! I want to express my special gratitude to the massage therapist Bibas. As a physiotherapist, he has a deep understanding of what your body needs, and you can fully trust his professional skills. After his massage, I felt like a completely new person! Bibas has a unique ability to relieve tense muscles and ease stress. I highly recommend his services and can’t wait for my next visit!

If English avoid this hotel. On arrival every other nationality are presented with wrist bands other than the English. This is so the ‘entertainment’ only interact with people with the wristbands. The food was bang average. Al carte restaurants were lackluster (cold food). Spa is great, staff are very friendly and also dated rooms and to many stairs from bottom of the resort to the top. Pool didn’t get cleaned once in a whole week we was here and half the all inclusive drinks are actually not all inclusive.

From the moment we arrived we were met with the warmest welcome, and the treatment did not end there. The staff could not help us enough and the facilities were to die for. During our stay we managed with ease to dine at both magnificent restaurants, catering to sea food lovers and meat eaters alike. The room was inviting from the moment we stepped in, with a luxurious private pool and a bathroom and bedroom that we could stay in forever. We will most definitely be back.

We went from 28 May to 4 June. We arrived just before midnight and so were advised to go straight for something to eat and then we were shown to our rooms. Good points - the resort is spotless, I think I saw two items of litter the whole holiday. The food at the buffet was the best of any all inclusive hotel I have been to. Being able to eat at the a la carte restaurants was also a treat. We managed to eat at them all and our favourites were Mademi and Pithos. You can only book one day in advance so top tip is to download the app and at 7.30am bookings for the restaurants open for the following day. This way we got to try all of the restaurants and the food at them all was very impressive and beautifully presented. We weren’t a fan of the main pool which was very busy, Sun loungers were saved early on. But if you explore you will find a pool that suits you. We loved the Pithos Pool, there were always sun loungers available and at times we had the pool to ourselves. Other pools also had loungers available throughout the day. We also weren’t a fan of the beach which is more pebbles than sand and packed with sun loungers but we loved the spot by the sea next to the Medemi restaurant. We always managed to grab a sun lounger and the view of the sea was much prettier here. Great spot for snorkelling. The gyros bar by the main pool is worth a visit for chicken or pork in a pitta wrap with salad and fries. There is also a smoothie/juice bar and ice cream bar next door. The outdoor cinema was also great although we got bitten a lot by mosquitoes so wear protection. The tv in the room had Netflix and YouTube which was great for the day of bad weather we had during our stay. We did struggle to find shelter during a thunderstorm because the bar area was busy but in the original reception area opposite the Estia restaurant we discovered another indoor bar area with lots of seating. The entertainment is less visible than other resorts but I suspect it is just because the resort is so big. They are based by the pool near the water slides. We watched the circus show one evening and the Disney show, both were very good. The staff are all very friendly and clearly take pride in the resort. On one evening my daughter left her bag in a restaurant and as soon as we realised we went to reception and were very impressed that it had already been handed in. We also left a tv fire stick in our room. My husband emailed the hotel to ask for it to just be removed and destroyed. The hotel replied within a few hours to say they had retrieved the device and had posted it back to us. Assuming it arrives back we are very impressed by this level of service. Few ******s if we are being picky… We booked sea view rooms but were on the side of the hotel so had to stand at the edge of the balcony and turn our heads to see a little bit of sea, which was a little disappointing. We were only ever offered one drink with the buffet meals and even with the a la carte book
