Hotels With Breakfast in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is very new with a modern decor. The soundproofing is excellent, and even the drawers, wardrobe doors, and shower door have soft-close mechanisms, making them very quiet. The public bath is a moderate size and has all the necessary facilities. The cleaning staff are diligent, so everything is quite clean. The hotel is located right above Kumamoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for taking the JR. Right outside the hotel are the A and B line tram stops, providing direct access to major tourist attractions and shopping streets. Additionally, floors 1 to 7 of the same building house a large shopping mall, including a Can Do 100-yen store, which is fantastic for inexpensive household goods and simple kitchenware. There's also a Big Camera in the mall. However, it's worth noting that most department stores close at 8 PM, with only some restaurants on the 6th and 7th floors open until 10 PM.

Omg, to cansel another hotel and change booking to this was my best decision! A had awesome view! I really enjoyed it during the late evening, check the photo. Breakfast was so good, I never leave dinning area hungry. Lovely! In case the space is full, you can take it to your room. With that view, I wasn't against 😉 Other things like in every other Toyoko inn.

Service: English service was available, making communication smooth and clear. The front desk staff were professional. Environment: The location is excellent. There's a bus stop right downstairs, it's easy to hail a taxi, and there are supermarkets, Kumamoto souvenir shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby – very convenient. There's also a pedestrian street in the vicinity, and the room offers a view of Kumamoto Castle. Hygiene: Overall, it was good. Even when 'Do Not Disturb' was selected, fresh towels were still left hanging on the door. However, we found a pair of slippers under the bed that weren't ours, likely left by a previous guest.

The hotel is right next to the station. It is very convenient to take the Shinkansen or change to the ordinary line. Not only can breakfast be provided, but also free curry dinner is provided. It is very user-friendly. The room is bigger than other similar restaurants. The sanitation and service are good. It should be noted that the hotel can check in at 4 pm, and if you arrive early, you can store your luggage and wait or go out. You must arrive at the point to check in.

JAL's service really deserves a thumbs up; many Chinese service industries could learn from them. My earring fell into the sink, and I'd pretty much given up hope. But the lady at the front desk and a gentleman went to great lengths to help me find it. I'm so grateful!

Excellent stay at one station! First time and with it's perfect location it makes travelling around so convenient. Beside it it's Kumamoto Station and there is AMU Shopping mall just beside it. If you rented a car during your stay in Kumamoto, you may just park at the multi story carpark behind the hotel for just 1000 yen for 24hrs with multiple entries but you would have to head to hotel reception to get the coupon for it. Definitely a recommended stay in Kumamoto

Decent-sized room and nicely furbished; Amazing location for food, transport, shopping, tram. Literally a 7-11 at your doorstep. Public bath was amazing, even has outdoor bath; Lounge available for working (after 3pm) and provides drinks and good wifi; Professional service and attitude from hotel staff. Would stay again 10/10

Good location near shopping street. Had a bad experience in that our key card didn't work 3x and 3x we had to go up to the lobby again with our bags which was a major inconvenience. No upgrade whatsoever, staff just kept apologizing.

The room was quite spacious for a Japanese budget hotel; I could easily open two suitcases on the floor. The self-service amenity station on the second floor at the front desk was super convenient, with a huge variety of items, including drip coffee and even proper disposable slippers! Having a 7-Eleven downstairs was a bonus for grabbing things. Oh, and the shower pressure was great too. I'm really happy with this place!
