I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

Before booking this hotel, I read some reviews. It's in the city center, so the location is good. However, there are a few things that fell short. The cleanliness was an issue; the bathroom had mold around the sink and inside the shower area. In the room, there were several dusty spots, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned. I've stayed in 2-star hotels before that were much cleaner. The lobby area was very hot. I asked the staff, and they said the air conditioning was being maintained. But I saw reviews from 8 months ago mentioning the lobby AC was still out. Check-in service took a little longer than expected.

A very comfortable hotel with a peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the place. The views are also breathtaking with English-style architecture. The breakfast offers a wide selection and everything is delicious.

The hotel is conveniently located near to the mall which lie well linked. Also is it just next to the outdoor theme park and Arena of stars. We booked a quads room for family of 4 which was good for us. Do note their bed is on platform so it may not suit people who have problem getting in and out of the bed. Overall we had a great stay and would return to this hotel we go Genting Highlands again

I think because it's an old hotel, it had that classic vibe, which I'm okay with. But the parking is in the basement without any elevator access, and you had to pay extra to park in front of the hotel. The first problem is the room air conditioning weren't properly working and we felt hot even after a few hours waiting for the room to be cooler. We ended up reaching out to the hotel and thank god all the staff were every helpful. They helped us change our room and there's a coakroach in the room that came out when we were packing to leave. Overall, would definitely stay here again for the budget but recommending yall to find a more comfortable stay if you're on a holiday

I recently stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan and had a very pleasant experience. Jeff at the reception was very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive an anniversary cake in our room after I had placed a special remark during booking — a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel. Overall, we were very happy with the stay. The swimming pool using salt water was definitely a plus point and made the experience even better. The breakfast was good and the food tasted great as well. Highly appreciated the hospitality and service provided by the Marriott team. Never disappointed of choosing Marriott!

We reached the hotel at about 2.45 PM and were asked to wait for our room. Although check-in officially begins at 3 PM, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 PM. Inside, the bedroom was quite small (with an unusual sink-outside-bathroom layout) and the garden view was disappointing. However, the highlight of our stay was the beach. It is peaceful, clean, and beautifully shaded by trees. It’s a fantastic area for total relaxation.

Facilities: The facilities are quite complete. It was a weekend when we went, so there were a lot of people at the pool. The water looked yellowish and smelled strongly of chlorine, so we didn't dare to use it. The elevators were a bit slow. The air conditioning and hot water in the room were both good. There's a Hard Rock Cafe upstairs. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, but on the first night, we found small cockroaches in our room. When we reported it to the front desk manager the next morning, she just said she would have staff clean and deal with it, and if we still saw cockroaches after returning to the room, they would give us a new room. I even argued with her that this wasn't about the room being dirty; cockroaches wouldn't just disappear after cleaning. But she refused to change our room. As a result, when we returned to the room in the afternoon, we found two or three more small cockroaches, so we went straight to the front desk. The assistant front desk manager in the afternoon had a much better attitude, apologized sincerely, and immediately changed our room. She even gave us her phone number and told us to call her directly if we had any problems. Environment: There are not many dining options nearby; it's more convenient to drive. The environment is quiet and secluded. If you stay in a mountain view room, you can see the mountains from the balcony.

JJO PKFThe hotel was previously known as Shazan Inn but has since been taken over by the Wyndham brand. The hotel and rooms have undergone refurbishment — exterior roof tiles and walls have been replaced and repainted, while the furniture and fittings are also relatively new. One downside is the limited parking space. If you drive out, you may have to compete for a spot when you return. On the plus side, the location is excellent — just around the corner from the iconic clock tower, main eateries, and shops, all within walking distance. Our stay included breakfast and I have nothing much to complain about. The spread was decent, with an egg station as a plus point. During the two mornings we had breakfast, different dishes were served. The staff and housekeeping team were kind, courteous, diligent, and helpful. Whenever we requested additional items, they attended to us quickly. Good job and keep it up! We stayed for 3 nights in the Temenggong Suite, which comes with 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. The downside is that there is only 1 bathroom. Looking back, booking connecting rooms might have been cheaper and more practical. However, the hotel is divided into two wings, and surprisingly, the wing with connecting rooms does not have air-conditioning. While Fraser’s Hill is cooler than most places, it is still not as cold as Genting Highlands or Cameron Highlands, so this was unexpected. The suite was spacious and came with a smart TV in the living room, giving access to Netflix, YouTube, etc., which was useful to keep the kids entertained. There is also a kitchen suitable for simple cooking. However, there was no telephone in the room, meaning requests had to be made by going down to reception. Likewise, the hotel could only contact me through my mobile phone, which was not practical due to poor mobile reception inside the room. Basic amenities were provided, but the water pressure was really low. With only one bathroom and weak water pressure, expect a longer wait if staying with family or a larger group. Another thing to note is that our suite still used a traditional door knob instead of a smart card system, and we were only given one key. I felt slightly uncomfortable as there is always a chance of forgetting to lock the door. Housekeeping also does not have a spare key, so you either leave the door unlocked for cleaning or leave your key with housekeeping/reception. This was not explained during check-in — fortunately, the housekeeping staff informed us. The suite does come with air-conditioning, but it appears to have been modified so the remote control cannot fully operate it. Even when switched off using the remote, the AC continues running with only the vent closed. The only way to turn it off completely is via the wall switch, and adjusting the fan speed or temperature was not possible. Despite the points mentioned above, this hotel does not deserve a poor rating. My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay. The only things that disappointed me were 1.) the air-conditioning filter, which looked like it had not been cleaned for some time, and 2.) some towels that were old with yellow stains. The suite also felt like it could have been better maintained, as there was noticeable dust and dirt in certain corners. However, these issues were not severe enough to ruin the overall experience. At the end of the day, Wyndham is currently the only international hotel brand in Fraser’s Hill. Most other options are either decades-old apartments, Airbnb units, inns, or motels. I genuinely hope Wyndham continues to maintain and improve its rooms and services despite having very little competition in the area. Overall, it was still a pleasant family stay with a great location, friendly staff, and good potential. With better upkeep and attention to small details, this hotel can easily become the clear standout choice in Fraser’s Hill.

VVivienleeys96I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak. Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.

AAnonymous UserBefore booking, I saw all the excellent reviews and that it was a new building, so I decisively locked in this hotel. Then I compared prices between Trip and Agoda. Agoda was slightly cheaper, but Trip explicitly stated that a room upgrade was possible due to a loyalty program, so I ultimately chose to book with Trip. Upon arrival that day, the hotel allowed us to check in early and even offered a welcome drink. The entire check-in process was very smooth. I asked if the room had a view, and the front desk informed me it overlooked a forest at the back. I then inquired about the upgrade cost to a golf course view room. The on-the-spot upgrade price was RM150 (whereas online it was only RM50), so I promptly gave up on that idea! Upon entering the room, I opened the window to find a massive white wall as the view! The room design was very new and comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too high, and the soundproofing was poor – I could clearly hear other guests passing by. Even more outrageous was the fire alarm, which went off countless times in the evening (from around 9 PM until midnight), waking me up from my sleep multiple times.

YYigehaoyundongdexiaohai121The rooms were kept pretty clean, though naturally, don't compare them to a luxury 5 or 6-star hotel. The staff were quite friendly. There are lots of monkeys around, so be sure not to leave any food unattended outside, as they're quick to snatch it. The natural surroundings are lovely, and if you have some spare time, you can hike up the mountain behind the hotel for excellent views.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby at restaurants, and took only 10 minutes to GPO & Cable Car station (Awana Skyway). The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of options for breakfast and dinner. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

TTriple A TourRecently we stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel’s location is very strategic, especially for visitors who want easy access to Kea Farm and other nearby attractions. It is convenient for food hunting, shopping, and sightseeing around Cameron Highlands. The basement parking at the hotel was acceptable, although the number of parking spaces is somewhat limited. For guests staying in the house units, parking is much better as it is available directly in front of the room, making it very convenient. The check-in process was fair, with a reasonable waiting time, while the checkout experience was smooth and efficient. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The amenities provided could be enhanced to offer a better guest experience. Room cleanliness also requires more attention, as housekeeping standards should be improved to ensure guests enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant stay. Overall, Copthorne Cameron Highlands offers a great location and convenient parking options, but improvements in amenities and room cleanliness would significantly enhance the overall stay experience.

FFarizaMy family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didn’t just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with God’s will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending.

GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below. 1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable. 2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it. 3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.

GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience! We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness. The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
