Best place to stay since the hotel near to the airport, Breakfast also too superb to choose , so many food and all of it delicious for me .

Of all the Marriott properties I have been to, this one has the best customer service by far. Ms Sabrina greeted my friends and I at check-in and personally showed us to our room, every staff member was polite and fast to help with anything. We got upgraded from original booking superior to a deuxe room due to high occupancy they said but nevertheless appreciate the gesture! Breakfast has a lot of options, the restaurant is good and there are lots of seafood restaurants next door(UTC) Loved the newly opened Tabby Bar sunset view. If you have status, points or upgrade nights this is the place to use them. I'd like to thank Ms Sabrina, Mr Faizul, Mr Abang from the staff for making our time here 5 Stars. They all gave us the VIP experience, we will definitely be back with family.

Firstly I was not 2 single bed will be big enough to fit 2 person. But Pullman single bed size is very big enough to fit in. Help me to save money rather than selecting 2 rooms for 4 people. This is where I give 5/5. Room service, support and cleanliness is very good and helpful to provide very good service. Similarly, room temperature and environment is very good. Location is very close to all amenities and nearby available of food and restaurant is awesome. Only some services were not available as explained such as Spa . Other than,, base on budget and environment I would highly recommend this Pullman hotel to enjoy family holiday, travel and relaxation.☝️ bagus. Enjoy your stay.👌☝️

Hotel room: clean, spacious, comfortable bed (even came with yoga mat and 2 small weights in the wardrobe). Water pressure in the shower was superb, especially after a long day. Glass bottles for water instead of plastic bottles - definitely appreciated this. Amenities: Unfortunately, while i was there, the gym was undergoing renovation/upgrades. However, they moved the equipment to one of the meeting rooms as a temporary gym, so that was okay. The swimming pool was nice. Location: walking distance to many attractions and restaurants around the area.

Stayed there a night. Service is good, first room smelled cigarettes, informed and immediately was replaced with another room. Room clean. Not spacious but for couple is enough. Breakfast is okay, not too much variety,but has noodles, porridge, laksa, bread, fried nuggets etc. No milk 🥛 this morning.

I came with my mom for the Raya. I stay 3 nights with them and got a standard double room. I came by 10.30 in the morning and wishing to enter my room. They allow me to!! Thank you so much because I needed after a long trip, flew from Surabaya to Pontianak and road trip by bus to Kuching. The room was large and good with no window there. The sink is outside the bathroom but it looked clean and ok. The bath room is big and clean. My phone couldn't connect to the hotel's wifi, I think it because my room is to far from the router. They have stable hot water. During my stay, the elevator was under maintenance twice. But it was ok since the building only has two stories. The hotel used to have a restaurant but they were closed during my stay there. I book the hotel online. So it will be cheaper. Kuching Waterfront is 20 minutes walking distance. So yes, the hotel is in the city center! If you interested to some beer and nightlife, there are two beerhouse, 7-11 and local merchant back at the hotel.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Room is super big. With a bath tub in the middle. Clean bed,floors and bathroom. Suitable for family. I had a pleasant stay here. Buffets available. Easy to find restaurants and not far from the main attractions. Only 2 things to comment. 1. The sound from the ballroom is quite loud at night. ( Very loud bass, I can say ) 2. Location is a bit into a place where pubs and nigtclubs are.

I stayed for 4 nights. The room is very big & spacious with all the basic amenities. I was given a room facing the sea. The bed was quite comfortable. Not much choice of tv channels. Since I was on official trip, I needed to be in contact with my office at all time during office hours but the WiFi connection was very bad. My telco network reception is quite poor too (of course not the hotel’s fault but was hoping the WiFi to be efficient). The foods are quite disappointing. The staff on the other hands were quite pleasant, friendly & helpful. Understood that it took them quite sometimes to make up the room because the hotel is 1 of the quarantine hotels so they missed out cleaning the room I was at the day before my check out. Plus point is the rooftop. You can watch the sunset from the rooftop

First stay for a few years as haven't been back in Kuching since 2020. Very happy to see the hotel is even better than I remembered. The rooms have been touched up and feel almost new ! Pool is as good as I remembered, the special shape is interesting. Breakfast definitely good ... in fact ate there for lunch (buffet) and dinner over our 4 days in Kuching which we seldom do as we miss the local food. Prices are very reasonable (maybe even too cheap??haha) and great quality / taste. Also very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a shuttle service to Kuching Festival for all guests, saved us on grab fare and so convenient !! Even our relatives parked their car here and ”lumpang” . Thank you to the friendly staffs !!!

We took the Executive Deluxe river view room, on the 16th floor at the Astana Wing. View was fantastic. Room was large, clean and comfy. No bath, just a shower stall which suited us just fine. Buffet breakfast was adequate, tasty, some menu items changed daily. However, what I liked most was the Roti Jala with its curries. You can dine al fresco with a nice view of the river. I will definetly stay here again

Location is superb, I booked a river view for family (two queen), but I was checked into a room with a bare roof view, called the receptionist they didn't offer to change the room but upsell me the king size room. The room has a bit of a plastic smell too, they just offer to come and freshen up the room. Swimming pool water was very cold, only one shower room available by the pool, no soap no shampoo and no water heater too.

2nd time and with my parents in the another room. Very satisfied with hilton and this time the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were in big bottles mounted on the wall. Only thing is the aircondition is a bit loud at night. Other than that, all’s great!

The hotel environment give a feeling of privacy and higher standard than Damai Beach resort. They have special event on the 1st night of Gawai for all hotel guests which is very happening. The hotel provided toilet amenities such as shower gel and shampoo from Loccitane brand. Also there is complimentary pillow sleep which promote deep sleeps. The downside is the room is not clean. Maybe due to high occupancy and not enough time to clean thoroughly. There are spider web, dust on the glass cabinet, little cockroaches. Also, as advertise in Trip.com, they room is sea view, but I get the room with hill view (and limited ocean view)

First and foremost would like to thank the front office team for arranging such a special moment for us and was so welcoming and nice from start to finish. The room from from the comfort, the amenities, the cleanliness is all great! We really love the bathtub as everything is already prepared. Breakfast was really nice and lovely. The spread was great, the food is delicious, the staff was really nice and attentive. Me and my partner loved both pools our private room pool and also the main pool was great! I opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Wow, wow, wow! A wonderfully warm and enthusiastic welcome from JJ on arrival at the Marriott began such a wonderful stay. JJ was also amazingly helpful in organizing tours within the National park. (Special thanks to Marc who shared our anniversary with his team.) Our room was available on arrival and stunning! Super comfortable and luxurious bed, large bathroom with separate toilet and shower plus lounge room (room 100). Large fluffy towels, iron, hairdryer, water, tea/coffee machine (including coffee capsules). The location of the room was right on the river and in close proximity (though no noise) to the restaurant and bar - perfect. Wifi is only available in the bar area. MCafe at the Marriott serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a special anniversary dinner where the staff were simply amazing and we were treated! We loved sitting outside by the pool for dinner - a slight breeze, undercover and with a local bat or two circling- heavenly! On site at the Marriott is a large gym and Mandara spa - the perfect treat after a day trekking. Or you can just relax and swim in the Balinese style swimming pool (which my husband did). The Marriott shuttle bus (free) meets all flights and is also available to take you to the Gunung Mulu National when required (also free). There is also a small general store a 5-15minutes walk down the road which is reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend doing the Deer Cave and Lang Cave tour. I also did the Mulu Canopy Skywalk which I found hair-raising (like being on a rollercoaster you want to get off but the only way to get off is to finish). Tip: All Mulu National Park fees can be paid by credit card. 30MYR for a 5 day park pass PLUS any tours you do.

Stayed at the Mega Hotel during the last trip. It is a 290 rooms, 4 star hotel situated at the centre of town. It is conveniently located near eateries, pubs and retail outlets. Check in was a breeze into spacious twin bedded corner room 329. Room is well appointed and furnished complete with most basic amenities. Morning breakfast is served at the Chatterbox Cafe . It has a wide spread of breakfast choices from western to local dishes. Breakfast is up to the culinary standard. Hotel has a curvilinear layout swimming pool on the 11th floor which offers breath-taking view of the city skyline day and night. Function Rooms and gymnasium are located on the 4th floor. Despite some noises disturbance from the Discotheque across the street, overall the hotel is well recommended due to its central location.

4 night on business trip, first time stay at Mercure Service: the security, the reception, the waiters very friendly, helpful and tactful Room : Very clean, beedsheet crips as new Bathroom: very clean, great quality bath towel, Botanical hand soap, hair shampoo&conditioner , body wash Gym: small but clean, the equipment is good Pool: decent size just for chill after busy day with business meeting and events. Rooftop Bar: great view, conducive environment (see pic view from the rooftop bar and pools)

Just walking distance from Miri airport, this hotel is a real gem. The rooms are well-designed and well-lit (most hotel rooms are too dim for me), complete with ceiling fan so we could just open the window and enjoy natural air; and we loved the breakfast place with its high ceilings and good spread. Staff too are very nice; and special kudos to bell-boy/shuttle van driver Charles Ta. He was so nice and helpful (we were carrying a fair amount of baggage + two kids) - even getting us trolleys at the airport and, after all that, he graciously declined my tip saying he was just happy to do his job well. I hope the hotel management is reading this - please do compliment him.

Reserved the standard room for my relatives without breakfast for two nights and the feedback from the stay was excellent . The front desk officers were informative and attentive to all their requests during the stay . The facilities of the hotel were comprehensive where they greatly enjoyed the swimming pool with an awesome City and Sea view as the backdrop . The wide array of shopping and dining options offered by the adjoining mall were the extra bonuses ! All in all , a very enjoyable and relaxing staycation!! A big shoutout to the friendly staff of Meritz Hotel ! Keep up the big smile 😊!!!

Exceptional hospitality! First of all, there was 4 of us traveling. Two of our friends couldn’t make it to the trip. The rest of the two of us were given an upgrade to suite room!! Room was very clean, beautiful and everything we needed. We were so given a front entrance parking- which was amazing for us. Second of all, the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We appreciate the warm welcome, the complimentary drinks upon arrival and damp towel given for us to wipe- it makes us feel very royal lol! Overall, we want to thank the general manager and staff for the great experience and comfortable stay. Definitely looking forward to staying at this hotel next time. I highly recommend!

Can you atleast do another aircond controller near the bed area. It will be an ease for guests to change the temperature. Its pretty tiresome to get up and walk to the controller to change temperature if its too cold or hot when lie down on the bed. I booked through agoda and request a lot such as high floor room, bath tub, sea view. Im surprised that they actually gave what i requested. Its a good stay. The toilet was clean.

Came for a wedding & stayed for 5 nights. Wedding Reception was in this hotel so this is why we chose it. All the things provided as you would expect from a luxury hotel. It meet our expectations. There is a mall next door and a hair dresser and nail salon within walking distance. Also local cafes and eateries if you want to save money (we did not buy the breakfast package; preferring local foods for breakfast & lunch). Dinners with our local families
