Hotels With Breakfast in Evora District, Portugal

The hotel is small in the city center only accessible on foot basically. Very well located. You can visit everything and reach all. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is far better than a 3 star would make me predict. The room (for 1) was ok. Very small but with all the amenities even water and a kettle. The only down side were the blinds that let too much light pass and made me awake from 6am onwards.

Excellent location close to city centre, hotel & garage easy to access, modern fixtures & furnishings, friendly & helpful Reception, cozy bedroom & bathroom, excellent breakfast food selections and dining area.

We had spent 3 nights at this Hilton and we got a top rate service, starting from the reception, with Moises, Raquel, Davide, the room services are excellent, as the different restaurants, where I remember just Celso, Diogo, Paolo. The breakfast display is amazing. The rooms large with excellent beds, plus free cover parking for gold members. If in Evora don’t look around this is the place.

Very small town, because of the location of this hotel, the hotel is relatively small, no extra bed at all, the bed is small, the location is OK, the restaurant environment is not bad ~ ~ breakfast is also rich, no hot water!

We spent 2 nights here arriving by train and a short taxi ride from the train station. The Taxi only accepted cash which I did not have. I expected the driver would receive payment by credit card. So, my first encounter with the receptionist was to charge the fare to our room and provide currency for the driver. The receptionist telephoned the manager whom did not accept this arrangement. However, Antonio the receptionist went above and beyond in service by giving me 5 euros for tip and fair of his own money. I was so impressed by the gesture of this staff but not the management. I repaid Antonio with in minutes of finding an ATM machine and gave him double the amount he lended me. Another impressionable staff was Nelson whom treated us with exquisite service at the bar and at dinner. He deserved and received a direct tip that he wouldn’t have received if given through management. Management might want to take note of these performers as quality staff that reflects on the hotel service in a positive way. For breakfast the staff was indifferent and unenthusiastic. The higher end rooms here are large enough with sp**** decor and furniture. The floor is exposed grey concrete with no rug or tile coverings. It looks like it is still unfinished construction when contrasted with the pleasant marble bathroom walls. Good environment control with proper AC, fan, heat function. Bright room with large windows and window coverings that has an option for blocking the strong sun. The facility has both inside and outside small pools with recliners. The restaurant and bar is suitable for wine, cocktails, and reasonably valued food options. The location is walking distance to main tourist attractions in this small town.

despite arriving late i was met by a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff,there's no doubt this hotel is decorated to a very high standard,the lounge area was a very relaxing place to rest ones bones after a day sight seeing.my room was large,very clean and very quiet at night which is important to me.as others have mentioned there is marble everywhere and it is hard not to be impressed.add a very good restaurant on next door with a good menu and wine list then this lovely place has got so much going for it. a big thanks to all the staff i spoke with including in the restaurant who were all friendly especially the lovely teresa.

Too expensive for what it offers. Overbearing and foolish management that won't admit its mistakes. Decisions that favor business events instead of the relaxation they claim to offer leisure guests. Access is 1.5km on dirt, full of terraces from tractors, which makes it impossible for a car to go more than 10kms/h without breaking the shock absorbers. At check-in there was a group of around 50 people at the entrance to the hotel. We headed for the pool and were surprised by the same group on the pool terrace. It was a company team building event with food, drink and a lot of noise. It was impossible to rest. Small, plastic outdoor pool overlooking the air-conditioned rooms. The company's employees took over the hotel and filmed us with a drone while we were in the pool, without any authorization or warning. This is a clear disregard on the part of the hotel for the privacy of its guests. We went to the room and found the sheets and pillows dirty. The group continued to make noise all afternoon all over the property, on a peddy paper, running and shouting, and even peering into the bedroom windows in search of something. Later, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the group continued to sing Alentejo songs and drink at the bar throughout the meal. In addition, the dishes we ordered (cod and sea bream) were salty. After dinner we went to reception and told them that we didn't want to stay at the hotel next night, arguing what I'd explained and asking for a refund for the next night we wouldn't be staying. We were told that the next day they would talk to the superior to see what the situation was. On the way back to the room we found a plague of insects near the entrance and on the outside walls of our room and the adjoining rooms. The next day we showered and smelled of chlorine, the level used in the water. At breakfast the group was still in the hotel. We went to reception and the receptionists told us that we wouldn't be refunded the €190 for the night we hadn't stayed. We left and they kept the money. Relaxation and tranquility?!?

A lot of positives, two negatives. I will start with positives: very clean resort, nice vibe, nice big suites, a nice welcome with a wine and fresh squished orange juice, great breakfast, nice pool and small lake with paddles. Two small negatives that we experienced: our suite was 30 minutes late then the check in time and as we had a long trip from Spain we really needed it in time. Also the pool towels were not available for an hour, we have asked , waited for a long time and then I needed to go and ask once again in a more „demanding” way that I do not like, however then it took 3 minutes to get the towels. It is always nicer if you can sort those things effectively. Besides those two small issues, a hotel that I would really recommend.

Since 2017 the Convento is every year a must in our Portugal trip. this is our most favorite spot in the country. This summer we spent 10 days, and we are always feeling sad when we have to leave. This place becomes our second home. A special words of thanks for the fantastic girls from the reception: Maria, Izabel, Rita, Inez. No question is too much, they are always so helpful and kind.Also some very correct and friendly waiters is the restaurant like Fabio and Luis. And of course Carolina as the kitchen supervisor.And the most kind guys from the technical service. Only compliments for them and for the whole staff. Breakfast is always fine and fresh, and diner was mostly very good and tasteful. There could be some more choices, specially if you stay longer, but we understand the products and food delivery problems this year by the War. We love the spiritual, magical atmosphere from this place, and the fantastic surroundings of mountains and woods is for us a paradise. And the beautiful pools , A big Plus is the adults pool, because you can enjoy a peaceful swim and relax, without the noise of screaming children. Beautiful very nice decorated salon with an open fire and the old Steinway piano.We stay mostly in the Viscondessa suite, but all rooms are comfortable and decorated with a real fine sober elegant taste, thanks to Joana. First the good. Most of the staff are very nice. The bar and restaurant area are pleasant and so is the pool area. Water pressure in the shower is good. However, this is not up to 4 star standards. The rooms are dated. The doors don't fit properly and there are gaps. It is the first time I have seen a shower curtain over a bath in an hotel in many years. The TV is a very small free standing TV. There is a terrace but it only has one chair. On our second day after housekeeping had been we were faced with stained bath towels, we took them back to the housekeeping room but there was noone there so we swapped them with unstained ones. Certainly not acceptable in any class of hotel. The restaurant is nice and the food is good, but only buffet. Breakfast is extremely noisy because the hotel caters to coach parties and conferences. The breakfast food is nothing great but ok. The pool area is nice but although there is a member of staff in the pool bar area you have to get dry and dressed to go into the hotel to get food and drinks, not really great for a supposed 4 star hotel. The pool also was full of flying ants,/mosquitos on the first day, although there were a few less on the second day.

Service: Front desk staff was extremely friendly and cheerful. Same goes to the food & beverage guest facing staff. We were treated well throughout the hotel with no gaps in service or attention. Breakfast selection was fresh and having the opportunity to try traditional “convent cakes” is a real treat. The lobby bar is very quiet but it’s a good place to come for an afternoon snack (sandwiches, toast with butter, potato chips/crisps). Facilities: Wanted to use the outdoor pool but the weather was too cold to go swimming. No fault of the hotel. - does not have an elevator, not good for elderly guests. - parking is limited, call in advance to get a spot or drive around the city to find an empty spot like we did. - driving to the hotel is tricky as the location is in the historic city center with very steel and narrow roads. - free WiFi and good connectivity throughout. Hygeine (overall): Although the convent is centuries old we find the common areas very clean and full of sunlight. Only area we find to be dark are the interior corridors towards to swimming pool and another set of hotel rooms. Antique furniture and the display of azuleju and tapestries were very well done and well preserved. Rooms: We stayed on the 2nd floor and had a nice view to the Cathedral. The rooms were clean and very basic. Loved the hotel using local Portuguese brand Castelbel for shampoo/soap and the body lotion. - does not have hot water kettle (some hotels you need to call to have it delivered to the room, we did not do that this time) - acoustics are quite powerful especially the noise from the corridor to the room. - need to confirm a breakfast time slot the evening before. All in all, our stay was pleasant and I had one of the best sleeps. It was so close to major landmarks and will certainly come back to stay.

Amazing old convent turned hotel. Beautiful architecture and interesting decor. Great boutique with handicrafts and porcelain. The hotel accepts pets - still rather unusual in Portugal. Unfortunately, a bit understaffed which affects level of service. Anyway good option to explore Évora.

This hotel is amazing. From the check in til we departed, this place is all about service. The staff is fantastic, they even parked our car for us. The rooms are huge, and are very well equipped. Our room had a shower and a bathtub , the air conditioning was super nice since it was quite warm during our stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices , something for everyone. The hotel is a very short walk to all the sites and restaurants. I only wish we had stayed longer.

Que surpresa maravilhosa foi ficar na Casa Morgado Esporão em Évora para o nosso grupo de 15 pessoas. Foi uma experiência fantástica. Os quartos, a sala que serviu para o pequeno almoço, a variedade e qualidade da oferta do pequeno-almoço, tudo foi excecional. E tenho ainda que referir a disponibilidade e simpatia do pessoal especialmente na pessoa do Joni Pisco que foi inexcedível. Muito obrigado em nome de todo o grupo

We had a superb staying at the Noble House, we stayed in the Noble Suite, it’s a fantastic room perfect for reading, very quiet and with 2 amazing French Doors with fantastic views over Évora beautiful landscape!!The hotel is an old Manor House well decorated, the staff is super friendly, delicious breakfast, thank you very much to all for making our stay even better!

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are spacious and very clean, the restaurant is great, there is an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym and the outside areas are also great. You don’t need to leave the premises. What makes this a five star rating: twice a day the rooms are provided with water. At the end of the day they will bring biscuits by, the restaurant is open all day (great when traveling with kids) - also for room- and pool-service. There are many activities for kids and they provide the cutest little presents for babies by arrival. They just have much attention for detail and really make an effort to make your stay pleasant! Make sure you don’t mind kids, since there are many of them ;)

This is not your normal, Nice ibis. It’s really down at the heels in every way: carpeting, Wi-Fi speed, threadbare towels, weak a/c. But it’s cheap and located very close to the gate of the old city. Fabio at the front desk made up for some of the shortfalls. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He explained that all the parking, even underground, was free because of the remodeling. The street noise in 207 was bad, but they were completely full, or I’m sure they would have given us a room on the backside (request that). An odd thing was that when the Accor app says the hotel is full, sometimes one can find a room on ***********. This time, booking said no rooms, but the Accor app had one, twin beds albeit. If you don’t spend much time in the room, this hotel is a good find. Ask if they’re still remodeling.
