GGuest UserReally loved the hotel's decor and ambiance; took tons of photos! The room was spacious, and it was super easy to get around. The front desk staff were great, very welcoming, and you could even chat with them on WeChat. We were early risers and headed to the restaurant before breakfast officially started, but the staff were very polite. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Chinese-style scrambled eggs. We stayed for two nights, and on our last day, we had an early flight, so we asked the hotel to pack breakfast for us. They thoughtfully prepared a burger, sandwich, fruit, and eggs – it was clear they put a lot of care into it.

GGuest UserThis was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing! The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite. The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute. Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.) I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!

GGuest UserOverall,I greatly enjoyed my time at the Rio Cappadocia Hotel. It is a very clean , new hotel with a modern cave feel. We had two rooms because I made two separate bookings. Both rooms were cozy and spacious, especially the second one(which was bigger in size). The rooms have beautiful carpets, the interior is simple yet attractive, and the beds were comfortable. The staff members greeted us warmly, and we were often provided with complimentary tea. The free breakfast was pretty good, including four different types of cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, a few types of breads, olives, etc. Turkish tea and coffee are also provided. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room rates are reasonable. The main issue I had was communication. Although there were no major problems, the following did not sit well with me. Prior to traveling to Cappadocia, my initial question that I asked was what bus number to take to the hotel(upon arriving at the airport). The response was , ”For this we need to arrange a transfer for you. Give us your flight number, passport numbers, the number of people , and I will arrange it for you.” The staff member was talking about the pick up at the Gerome bus stop, and not the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. This confused me. It became even more confusing when I was told we could get help with direct transportation from the airport to the hotel....and then the mentioning of a transfer pick up from the bus stop again. I simply wanted a direct, simple answer that provided an option for direct transport to the hotel. On top of that, the staff member was not talking about the correct airport(based on the flight number I had previously provided). When I asked for help to arrange a taxi to a restaurant, she gave the driver the wrong restaurant name(after I had said the correct one). There was also an instance in which I paid for both the green and blue tours with cash, and was asked if I had already paid. They checked their system and realized that I did. I should have asked for a receipt, but they should also check their records before asking this( it was confirmed that I had paid, so it wasn't a big issue)Additionally, I wanted to postpone the green and blue tours after a hectic traveling experience, as well as after a long day doing the red tour. I was told ”Don't worry...you will be in a VIP van..the tour will be great”, instead of just acknowledging the fact that we were exhausted. I didn't need to be sold on something I had already purchased(and that I still wanted to do). We just wanted some rest time before doing the other two tours. We were offered complimentary tea one last time at the end, but the staff member told us to write a review of our stay first. We refused, and I said I would do it later. She was friendly prior to our departure, but asked why I hadn't written a review. And, she asked if we could follow the hotel on Instagram. I understand the importance of advertizing a business within such a major tourist destination, but this was a bit too much. I hope the hotel can see this as constructive feedback. Despite the previously mentioned verbal/written communication, it was a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

GGuest UserHands down, a five-star review! The biggest surprise of this trip was meeting such a thoughtful owner. Seriously, the best hotel owner in the world!!! We arrived in Cappadocia at 5 AM, and the temperature difference was significant. The owner, worried we'd be cold, let us check in a full 8 hours early. That was incredibly heartwarming and considerate!!! The owner was warm and polite, making conversations comfortable and easy. Any questions we had were answered meticulously. The room was spotlessly clean, the environment was quiet and comfortable, and all the amenities were well-stocked. From reception to check-in, the entire experience was fantastic, and the attention to detail truly won us over. Excellent value for money, absolutely smashed it!

GGuest UserI had doubts when I made booking - the hotel didn’t have many reviews. I took the risk though and it was well worth it. My stay at Hira cave was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable - I slept like a baby all 5 nights. The view from the terrace was fascinating and breakfast was delicious as well - the photographs are attached. The owners were friendly and helped to arrange pick up from the airport, shared a few useful hints about the hikes and did everything to make my stay memorable. Thank you very much, I will come back!

BBareski_The only thing i would say about this establishment is: ACCOMODATING. Abdulrachman is very helpful during our stay in from room arrangement to book and plan our trip in Cappadocia. The room is clean, and comfortable and the view is just mesmerizing. I would recommend everyone to have a nice stay here and just relax. The nic

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby felt like a cave. When checking in, you could ask the front desk about the hot air balloon launch status for the next day. The terrace has a great location and offers an excellent view for watching the hot air balloons. It's also just a ten-minute walk to the sunrise and sunset viewpoint. Being right in Göreme town, it's very convenient to get around.

DDaphne MLWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404. After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience. The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it! Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week! A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable. We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive! The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok. I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.
