From arriving in Vancouver on July 29th to five cities in the eastern United States → Vancouver → Toronto → Buffalo → Washington, during the 20-plus days, this hotel was the most comfortable and had the best facilities. It was the only twin room that cost less than $1,000 and included breakfast. Other rooms were less than $1,500 a day. It was great value for money!
Guest rooms feature Hyatt Grand beds, state-of-the-art media and work center with a high-definition flat panel HDTV that easily integrates with laptops, a comfortable cozy corner L-shaped sofa-sleeper, bathroom vanity with granite countertops. Microwaves and fridges in all rooms. Suites have full kitchens. Enjoy comp wireless high-speed internet and comp a.m. breakfast. Indoor Lap Pool, outdoor fireplace and grilling station.
I paid for a suite to sleep 5 people. There were only 3 sets of towels. The sofa bed was terrible, truly uncomfortable and almost prohibitive to sleep on. Only sheets with no duvet /blanket provided for the sofa bed.
One small bar of soap and one small lotion as far as room amenities. . Which was not replenished with daily cleaning, nor the trash cans emptied.
There was no freezer portion of the mini fridge which I needed to keep my ice pack in for use on a recent injury.
Arik at the front desk was wonderful. He worked the late shift but I only saw him once.
The breakfast was decent but the OJ ran out and was not refilled on Monday
The room was very clean and tidy. But the space is small. After staying at the hotel, I learned that Microtel is indeed a micro hotel as its name. Breakfast is average, relatively simple, simple boiled eggs are not provided. There is also the front desk, no one for a lot of time, it should be regarded as a family hotel. I don't know the local hotel price. Maybe I booked a long holiday in the United States. The price is relatively high for hotels of this grade .
Great experiences: convenient location, clean & modern feeling, good housekeeping service, reasonable price at the last minute, pleasant warm breakfast included, to name a few! Outdoor pool and gym are good plus while ice/water & coffee machines are always available. We’ll return for sure!
Also looking for a good hotel breakfast is quite rich. This price has breakfast cp. This is very high. And he is very convenient for shopping and shopping in many shopping malls opposite. And his room has an external door to go outside. It’s great.
We were very lucky to have met Gregory, a most friendly and welcoming staff member in the breakfast area who gave us lots of useful advice and encouragement for us - tutor and student who were to tour and undertake a tour and interview at nearby St Andrew’s College.

Excellent hotel. The layout is definitely a bit strange, but other than that I have zero complaints. Breakfast is served bright and early, with a rotating selection to choose from. Our room was incredibly clean, albeit perhaps a little outdated. But that does not bug me. The pool was fantastic, the water itself is not heated but the room it is in, is. The hotel is also within direct vicinity of a VERY large amount of attractions, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away from home for a few days.
The staff were super accommodating. Manager got us Top Floor suite after I was unsuccessful with that through Expedia. All of the hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was perfect for us. Parking was great. Location is near anything you’d need. Free HBO and place did not smell of smoke. Probably about ready for new mattresses, at least in suite we were in and lavatory is kind of low. Perfect height if you’re 5’ tall though.
This is one of the best hotel experience we had. The room is spacious and has plenty surfaces and drawers. The suite is so convenient for two of us to work or dine during our stay. The hotel provided complimentary breakfast and diner (diner was from Monday through Thursday), and 24 hour coffee/tea. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. We'd stay at Homewood Suites again.
