With a stay at BAKOVUL HERITAGE in Bukhara, you'll be just steps from Abdul Aziz Khan Medressa and Mir-i-Arab Medressa. This guesthouse is 0.6 mi (1 km) from Maghaki-Attari Mosque and 0.6 mi (1 km) from Maghoki-Attar. Take in the views from a rooftop terrace. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Make yourself at home in one of the 8 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include safes, housekeeping is provided daily, and irons/ironing boards can be requested.

"Bokowul Heritage Hotel is located right by Po-i-Kalyan Square (in front of the Mir-i-Arab Madrasah gate), the city's central landmark. All routes start here, and every attraction in the old city is within walking distance. The guesthouse's location is excellent; from the rooftop, you can see the Abdulaziz Khan Madrasah. The guesthouse has been recently renovated, offering good accommodation. It's nestled in an alley, but if you can't find it, nearby shopkeepers are happy to help with directions. Two young men gave us a warm welcome and even suggested we watch the World Cup final from the rooftop to enjoy the night view. Unfortunately, we arrived too late, but we appreciated the thought. We hope more travelers come to Bukhara and choose to stay here."

Munis Boutique Hotel

The hotel in Bukhara truly made an impression! I'll start with breakfast – the buffet was excellent, with a great variety of dishes, all fresh and delicious. It was a real pleasure to start the morning with such a breakfast. I particularly want to highlight the interior and design – everything is tastefully thought out, with a consistent style. The many pleasant little details complement each other, creating a special atmosphere of comfort and harmony. It's clear that a lot of heart went into designing this place. The cleanliness in the room and throughout the entire hotel was impeccable. The bathroom deserves a special mention: all the tiles gleamed, with not a single trace of grime or streaks, making it very pleasant to use. Among the small touches that immediately impress: they provided slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and a generous three towels – no need to ask for anything extra. There was also shampoo and shower gel, a bidet shower, and toilet paper. In the room, there was a kettle and a refrigerator, and bottled water was provided. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room comfortably cool despite the heat outside. They even carried our luggage up to the room, so we didn't have to haul anything ourselves. I especially want to commend the administrators – they were very polite, always smiling, and ready to help and advise on any matter. The service here is simply wonderful ❤️ The attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere, and attention to every detail truly stood out. After a previous experience in another city, this hotel was a real breath of fresh air. I definitely recommend it!

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. I’ve also added the places I visited while staying there. I have already added a lot of images to my last feedback if you want to check it out.

Mercure Bukhara Old Town

The hotel design was quite unique. When I checked in, they told me they'd upgraded me to a suite, but I had specifically requested twin beds. In the end, they just added an extra bed, which was pretty annoying, and it wasn't comfortable at all. The room's soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything the neighbors were saying clearly. There was no view from the window either. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to stay at this hotel. The best thing about it is probably that it's within walking distance of the Old City of Bukhara.

Boutique Old City

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

Rooms were big and clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was alright too! No complaints. They have a gym with some outdated workout equipment, not amazing but it’ll be enough to keep you going. Location is around 15-20 mins walk to the old town. But there is a coffee shop nearby and other restaurants not too far away.

If you're visiting with the goal of seeing all the historical sights, then this hotel is definitely the one to choose! The location is perfect, and you won't need any transportation; everything is within easy walking distance. You can stroll leisurely, sit in cafes, and enjoy ice cream on a bench in the shade. The room is tastefully decorated, all the furniture and fixtures are new, there's a large TV, a kettle, water, and all bathroom amenities. I particularly want to highlight the breakfast – it's simply amazing how delicious everything is! I wholeheartedly recommend it in Bukhara! Afterwards, you can shop at the central market, which is right opposite, and enjoy shashlik and pilaf at the cafe at reasonable prices.

I booked a superior single room. I was a bit worried because I didn't get a response when I asked if it would be one bed for two adults, but thankfully it turned out to be two single beds pushed together, which was a relief. The room was on the first floor, a corner unit, facing a small courtyard past the reception (not the courtyard shown in pictures). Security was excellent. However, a downside was that the courtyard light stayed on all night, and the light coming through the glass window above the door disturbed my sleep. Also, the middle of the mattress was worn out, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The reception staff were fluent in English and very helpful. Since I had an early check-out, they even prepared a breakfast box with sandwiches and an apple. Yandex taxi also came right to the hotel entrance, which was great. If I visit again, I'd definitely like to stay in a room facing the courtyard past the breakfast area.

Loved staying here. Excellent, yet peaceful, location right in the middle of the ‘old town’, surrounded by shops and restaurants and most , if not all , of the important sites within walking distance. Friendly service, comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. ( note this is Rayyan 1 hotel, next to the Synagogue, not sister hotel Rayyan 2, which Yandex taxi might take you close to, but still within walking distance)

I am so glad to have chosen this guesthouse. It was our best experience among all the other hotels. The owner, Iha, was so hospitable. The rooms were not big given that there were 3 beds but it was comfortable. The toilet was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated too. I was having sinus problems and Iha made a pot of mint tea for me, complimentary. Very kind! He also took us on a tour to the Summer Palace. Som reviews has said it was difficult to locate. That’s because the entrance is facing a side lane. I am putting a pic here so that you can recognise how it look like as your taxi drive past.

The overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.
