The Crown Palais New Hankyu Kochi

It is very convenient because you can go sightseeing on the train street, Hirome Market and Kochi Castle in front of you. It's a little far from Harima Bridge and Kochi Station, but it's within walking distance while sightseeing. It was a bit old but clean and comfortable. There is no large communal bath, but the bath in the room immediately filled with hot water and was able to use it without stress. I felt that breakfast was also better than when I stayed before. It was a pity that I couldn't see Kochi Castle from the room. It was the end of March, but it was essential to wear a mask in the hotel.
Nest West Garden Tosa Hotel

Clean hotel with amazing with of the Pacific Ocean from inside the room. The staffs are very helpful and offered to carry my luggage up the stairs. However due to language barrier, did not tell me that I can see the ocean and sunrise from my room. I missed the beautiful view as the curtains are close and did not discover the view until I was about to checkout. It is a regret as I believe the sunrise would be stunning. Would highly recommend booking at the restaurant in advance, as there is no much to eat and shop nearby. The restaurant is small scaled, so might not be able to cater last minute orders. Overall a very nice stay, given the budget. Suitable for those who are on driving.
Richmond Hotel Kochi

The room was small but clean, breakfast was semi-buffet, drinks, staple food, fruit, soup, vegetable salad and some local specialties can be freely eaten, the main dish can choose a, very good. The only thing that didn't feel very good was the day of check-in, because the typhoon had heavy rain, it was 12 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel, and I didn't arrive at the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room to check in first, so I could change the wet clothes. The front desk clerk checked the computer. It is said that you can pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount is not much, it feels uncomfortable. When you check in in Europe, if you have a clean room, you will usually check in with your room card in advance. The hotel works according to the rules but lacks human touch
Comfort Hotel Kochi

The parking lot was flat, so even the tallest estima was stopped without any problems. There was also a corona countermeasure with meals, and the front desk was also a polite response. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. It is recommended if it is a business.

the hotel looks old, but it maintain really nice. the dinner and the breakfast was incredible !! we all loved it a lot , the view was nice , can see the ocean . so sad we only stay one night. the bathroom is reall6 small, if you have kid, it's hard to shower with your kid. but over all, it's a nice hotel.
New Royal Hotel Shimanto

I felt frankly that it was a hotel that should not be used in the pilgrimage trip and the set trip that the arrival tends to be late. I stayed many times and knew in advance, but this time I was full of dissatisfaction, first, the shop on the 1 floor, from 7 in the morning to 8 in the afternoon? If you don't open earlier, you can't use it if the morning departure is early. It's good if you can't use it, but you can't use something like a forced regional promotion ticket, after all, I've got it since I arrived at the hotel the day before. When you arrive after 5 in the afternoon, you will lose time when you take a bath or have dinner. What's worse is the shop in the building, which is from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening. Business hours? ?? ?? Who are you doing business for? Unbelievable customer CS low. In addition, there are only two small bathrooms with only a name for a large communal bath, and Karan is 5. How many people do you think you can stay? It is a completely miss match with the capacity. Moreover, is that time zone playful? I can even think. Men from 4 pm to 8 pm, and the next morning from 6 pm to 7 pm 20? For women, 8 10 pm 12 pm, and the next morning 7 pm 30 ?? For those who arrive around 6 the afternoon of the previous day and leave at 7 30 the next morning, like me 々, the selfish use timetable on the hotel side. , I want you to tell me how to use the shop In short, don't use the bath except for the room! , Don't use the promotion ticket! It's a stance. Not only the poor meal, but also the terrible seat, is this only seat for this capacity? Unbelievable Corona is a dining room where you can only eat in a shared seat with others even though the number of patients has not decreased at all because of the government's convenience (not lost). What? What are you thinking? The dining room here is disqualified both in the evening and in the morning, including the poorness, unpleasantness, and freshness of the ingredients, although it is a Japanese kaiseki for dinner! A hotel that seems to forget that it is a service industry. In addition, there is no room safe in the single room, and it is an extraordinary hotel that exceeds the category of understanding even though it is necessary because it is alone.
Dormy Inn Kochi

It is right on the shopping street, with a restaurant and shopping for famous products is very convenient. The service attitude is very good, the room is large, clean and tidy, and the hot spring is natural, very good, and the spring quality is excellent.
Kochi Sunrise Hotel

For some unknown reasons, we were not able to book any other hotel in Kochi .....and this one was our miracle. This hotel has the look of 80’s. Still using real key to access to hotel rooms. The room was surprisingly clean. No rust or dents you would usually see from old hotels. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great! You get to taste some of the famous dishes of Kochi. It is quite close to Hirome market and Daimaru Kochi.

We stayed 2 nights on our trip to Kochi in October 2020. The hotel was undergoing a large-scale repair work on the outer wall and there was a scaffolding around. Parking is free, but the first parking lot just beside the hotel can only park about 10 cars, so you will park in a parking lot a little far away when you are full. Arrived around 14 o'clock, but I was able to check in. The front desk staff is not stationed during the day, so the room key is good. When you need it, you can call the staff at the front desk bell, and there is nothing wrong with it. Breakfast is provided free of charge from 7:30 in the lobby, but this time the staff at the dining room also served as the front desk business. We are trying to reduce costs by thoroughly saving labor. The content of the breakfast was mainly Japanese food, and Western food was about bread, salad and drink, but it is glad to eat this for free. 1 There is a ”Yakuyu bath” behind the front desk on the floor, but there are only 1, so it is a men and women change system on the day of the week and time. The washroom was about 4 and the bathtub was about tatami mats, but the smell of medicinal herbs was healed. We stayed on weekdays, but the morning bath is only for men, and it is switched from women to men at 20 o'clock at night, so women are quite difficult to use. On weekends, men and women seemed to be changing their time. Not a new hotel, so you feel less 々 old in the room and hotel facilities. Compact twin room, storage space is insufficient. The hanger rack is also narrow and 4 hanging is full, but there was a stick in the free rental goods placed in the elevator side space. 1 In front of the front floor, you can put daily necessities such as cotton swabs and body sponges, and you can feel the devise in detail. It was a perfect hotel for the sightseeing starting point of Tosa Shimizu, Shimanto gawa River, Shimanto gawa River, with a warm service with cheap accommodation fee.

The evaluation on the net was a bit low, but there were not many rooms in August and it was high, so I made a terrible reservation. I remembered staying before while going from Kochi station to the hotel. I think it's unfortunate that residents in Hiroshima Prefecture are out of the hotel discount. Check-in was very polite. Amenities were at the front desk and there was a hot coffee machine and water. There was also a welcome snack and I was a little laughing. The room is 2 F. The facilities are a bit old, but there is no problem with using it. It was very highly appreciated in the location close to the Sunday location for this time.
